"Lamia":

This card is based on Lamia, a demon in Greek mythology. She was formerly one of the many lovers of Zeus, until a vengeful Hera slew her children in revenge. Apparently mad with grief, Lamia began preying on and devouring other children, turning into a demonic creature. In modern times, the name "lamia" is often synonymous with "vampire" or "ghoul".
This card's first effect is a reference to how it was used by Seika Kohinata in the manga, where she summoned it right before summoning Evil Dragon Ananta, which can be searched for with this card's effect.
