"All About Space", known as "Space Operations Duel Squadron" in the Japanese version, is the forty-second episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime. It first aired in Japan on April 4, 2021.
Hearing that Goha Enterprises is going to hold a Rush Duel tournament, Luke declares that he will win and become the King of Duels. Only 3-player teams can enter the tournament, but for some reason Yuga won't join it... Not acknowledging Yuga's behavior, Luke visits the mine again to find some Maximum cards to use for the tournament. There, he encounters a strange trio clad in spacesuits!

Summary
On both the holographic logo atop the Goha Enterprises Main Office and the videoscreens all across Goha City, Prioria Sweetalina appears to inform the citizens of Goha City that the official Goha Rush Duel Team Battle Royal is now open for registration, as watched by Saburamen, Briscoe and Sushiko in the streets, Scoop, Masa and Cub in the Newspaper Clubroom, and Yosh, Mason and Hicks in their classroom. Prioria explains that the winning team will be awarded the title of "King of Duels. She suggests that everyone should try it and compresses into her dogu dress, zipping away with a cheerful cry of "Goha Rush". At the Road Laboratory, Luke smiles in satisfaction, declaring that it's finally time for him to become King of Duels and happily cheers "Goha Rush" as well while Romin covers her ears and Gavin smiles in embarrassment. He wonders why Goha Enterprises are suddenly holding a Rush Duel tournament now, and though Luke thinks they've finally admitted defeat, Gavin thinks it more likely that Goha want people to think that they own Rush Dueling, a tactic Romin finds cowardly but that Luke finds convenient. He claims that he'll win the tournament fairly and become the King of Duels, then inform everyone that his close friend Yuga (who has been silently repairing Kaizo the entire time) is the true father of Rush Dueling. Poor Gavin can only lament that he thought Luke had a good idea for once, and Romin points out that's Luke for them. Luke bends over backwards as he laughs that he'll finally be able to see what is at the end of his daor, but Romin points out a problem - the registration guidelines say that only a team of three can enter. Luke tells them to just say "Master Luke and his two retainers", but Gavin notes that he's missing the point; assuming that Yuga is confirmed as part of the team, but Yuga tells them that he's good, much to their surprise. Luke straightens up and asks if Yuga means that he's okay, but Yuga confirms that he's not entering, much to his friends' shock. Luke protests that Yuga is the father of Rush Dueling, but when Yuga notes that he isn't really interested in that Luke asks him to say whether or not he's entering the tournament. Yuga again confirms that he isn't entering, and Luke angrily grabs him and tries to hit him, much to Gavin and Romin's horror, but Luke stops before making contact and angrily runs out of the Road Laboratory, Romin and Gavin calling after him and a stunned Yuga eventually sitting back at his desk.
At the Abandoned Dorm, Tracker introduces himself to his audience as a fourth-grade student from Goha #2 Elementary who was suddenly abducted from his home when he was suddenly abducted by a student from another school to this mountainous area. The student in question, Luke, pops in front of Tracker's camera and tells him not to slander him, stating that he needed his help given that Luke is the vice-president of the Student Council. Tracker congratulates him, but points out that he's from a different school, and Luke asks why Tracker is dressed so nicely (he's wearing a golden hardhat). Tracker glances at his camera and claims that there's no particular reason, changing the subject by asking if this isn't the entrance to the mine where he had to rescue Luke and the others and realizing why Luke came here. They hear a rumbling behind them, and Luke grins and he comments that they're here; the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club, Asana on R6, Galian on GG03 and Schubel and Pidgetrap on HA10. Asana recognizes Luke, who calls himself their good friend and he soon brings them up to speed on the tournament which Asana notes that of course he would enter. Luke replies that's why he's come to "Maximum Mountain", so he can find Maximum Monsters, and Galian irritably tells him not to name the mine, prompting a sheepish apology from Luke. Asana asks if Yuga is their team leader and comments that it'll be an interesting tournament if he is, and Luke admits that Yuga isn't entering, much to Galian's surprise. Pidgetrap chirps, and Schubel translates for him; was Yuga intimidated by all the strong Duelists that would be entering? Luke angrily denies that, but then realizes that he isn't sure himself and admits it may be the reason, though Asana chuckles that this is just like Yuga. Luke doesn't realize what she means, and Asana suggests that they might not be as close as he thinks they are; though Luke once again initially denies this, claiming he and Yuga are like peas in a pod, he eventually admits he's not sure, much to Tracker's embarrassment. Regardless, Luke vows to find Maximum Monsters in Maximum Mountain and win the tournament, and he rushes for the entrance despite Galian's protests, with Tracker close behind.
They break through the door, but stop short in shock as they find themselves surrounded by stars, and Asana, Galian and Schubel walk in as well and look around curiously. Schubel wonders if they're in outer space while Galian warns Asana to be careful. But as their eyes adjust to the light, they realize that they're simply standing in the middle of string lights and Galian calls it a cheap trick and tells the people who put them up to show themselves. Three children in spacesuits walk out of the darkness and Luke asks them who they are as they come to a stop in front of them, while Galian is incredulous at the notion of wearing a spacesuit on Earth. The shortest one opens his visor, revealing himself to be a boy with green hair and declares that space is a Duelist's final frontier before introducing himself as Goha #5 Elementary's Booster Page, and he lives in a bookstore called "Book Center" (something Schubel thinks is redundant) which he claims was meant to be due to his surname, (honya is the Japanese word for "bookstore"). The tallest of them introduces himself as Lionel Alec, declaring that the Duel of the planet is blue, and the last, a blonde girl, introduces herself as Valencia Siegle, and declaring "It is I, Seagull" (her first name means "seagull" in Japanese), and the three of them are Goha #5 Elementary's Duelstronauts. As they strike poses, Schubel, Pidgetrap, Galian, Asana, Tracker and Luke can only watch with blank eyes, and Luke advises Tracker not to talk to weirdos. As Tracker wearily agrees, Booster indignantly protests that this isn't for fun and games, since their club has a great purpose; exploring space through Dueling. Asana asks what people with such great goals would want with this mountain, and Booster claims that they have been observing their activities through their Hubbel Space Binoculars, remembering witnessing Asana creating "Wyrm Excavator the Heavy Cavalry Draco" from afar and commenting that it was excavated from Maximum Mountain (displeasing Galian at naming it without permission again). Schubel dismisses him as a Peeping Tom, but Booster insists that God does not play with dice and this was inevitable. Galian calls the notion ridiculous, since this place is under the jurisdiction of the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club, so Booster challenges Asana to a Rush Duel to settle whether or not they will be allowed to excavate here. Galian, Schubel and Pidgetrap are all incensed at Booster's brash challenge, but Asana reassures them that it's fine, but their opponent will be Luke. Luke is surprised at being nominated to Duel and protests, but Booster agrees, and despite stammering for a bit, Luke eventually agrees as well, as he was already a bit annoyed.
Meanwhile, Gavin and Romin are approaching the mountain, Romin noting that this is the only place that they haven't looked for Luke and Gavin suggesting that he likely came here to look for Maximum Monsters. Romin wonders why Yuga said what he did, and Gavin considers Yuga's motives before realizing what Yuga likely meant.
Back at the Abandoned Dorm, Booster descends a lunar ladder produced for him by Leo and Valencia, declaring that this Duel will be one small step for man, but one giant leap for mankind, leaping footprints in the ground. As the Space Operations Duel Squad cheer Luke angrily asks them to just get started already, and he and Booster insert their Decks into their Duel Disks and call "Rush Duel!" deploying the blades and the green holographic dome.
Luke declares his turn and draws, still angry over Yuga's refusal to enter the tournament and thinking that he'll be the one to clinch the victory instead as the vice-president. Examining his hand, which contains two "Twin Edge Dragons", "Dragon's Hail", "Dragon's Return", and "Nightbringer Dragon", he Summons the two "Twin Edge Dragons", thinking that he can't allow himself to be distracted by these small fry, as he has to get the right to excavate Maximums. He Tributes his two "Twin Edge Dragons" to Tribute Summon, chanting "Residing within all things in the depths of darkness is the demon king of night! Come forth! Nightbringer Dragon!" ("From a churning vortex of chaos and doom, emerges the nightmare, nightmares are made of! Here it is, Nightbringer Dragon!" in the dub.) Tracker and the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club are impressed by Luke's 2400 ATK monster, and Luke activates the effect of "Nightbringer Dragon" by sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Dragon Knight of Darkness"), forcing Booster to draw two cards and then take 100 damage for each card in his hand. With six cards, he takes 600 damage, and as Booster gasps "What?!" Luke declares the "Midnight Mauling" effect of "Nightbringer Dragon", surrounding Booster in a red glow that reduces him to 3400 LP as Leo and Valencia cry out in worry. Booster shrugs it off, quoting Aristotle in that the Earth is round and so too does his heart circle calmly, and Leo and Valencia hold up their arms in a circle too. Luke doesn't quite get it, so he Sets two cards and ends his turn. Asana chuckles, much to the surprise of Galian, Schubel and Tracker, and she speculates as to whether Luke will find himself during this Duel.
As Leo and Valencia dance around behind him Booster declares that Luke does not yet know the depths of the infinitely expanding universe, and Leo adds that a Duel like this is as easy as a light space walk for them (while Valencia declares "It is I, Seagull", prompting a quiet laugh from Tracker). Booster declares a cosmic draw, drawing "Rocketortoise Modularchelon" and adding it to his hand, which also contains two "Boosturtles", "Outer Space", two "Spyturtles", and "Destructurtle Meteor". He flips his visor down as he declares the ignition of the first booster rockets to space and Summons two "Boosturtles". With the first ignition successful, he Tributes his two monsters and declares the ignition of the second stage once the first has detached, chanting "Tribute Summon! Awaken the power that binds! Destroy the constraints of Earth! Advance! Rocketortoise Modularchelon!" ("I Tribute Summon! All systems go! Three...two.. one...and it's blast off for this celestial savage! Rocketortoise Modularchelon!" in the dub). As "Rocketortoise Modularchelon" appears with 2500 ATK Booster states that they've achieved escape velocity and are getting closer to outer space as they pierce through the atmosphere. He activates the Field Spell Card "Outer Space", transporting them into space, and Asana recalls its effect, which Tracker notes reduces the ATK and DEF of all Level 4 or lower monsters by 300. Luke grins, since the Level 7 "Nightbringer Dragon" and Level 8 "Rocketortoise Modularchelon" are unaffected by the Field Spell, but Booster declares that they must still continue their observations and he Summons two "Spyturtles", which fall to 500 ATK due to the effect of "Outer Space". Claiming that his "Spyturtles" will unlock the mysteries of the universe, he sends "Pierce!" from the to of his Deck to his Graveyard to activate the effect of a "Spyturtle", reducing the Level of a monster Luke controls by two until the end of the turn. "Nightbringer Dragon" is targeted in the "Spyturtle's" HUD and becomes a Level 5 monster, and the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club gasp as they realize Booster's intentions. Sure enough, Booster activates the effect of the other "Spyturtle" and reduces "Nightbringer Dragon" to Level 3, proclaiming that one by one the mysteries of universe are being unlocked by their observations. Schubel and Galian observes that reducing "Nightbringer Dragon" to Level 3 has allowed "Outer Space" to affect it, reducing it to 2100 LP, but Luke warns Booster not to think he can oppose him so easily. Booster asks if he's sure, warning him that a meteor will strike once he loses his layer of protection and he activates the Spell Card "Destructurtle Meteor", reducing the ATK of two monsters he controls and one monster Luke controls by 1500 until the end of the turn. The two "Spyturtles" fall to zero ATK, but "Nightbringer Dragon" has been reduced to 600 ATK, and as Luke grits his teeth Booster crows that he'll knock down that dragon who underestimates the universe to the very bottom of gravity. He sends both "Spyturtles" to the Graveyard to activate the "Interstellar Ignition" effect of "Rocketortoise Modularchelon", increasing its ATK by 700 until the end of the turn for each monster he sent to the Graveyard. With two sent to the Graveyard, it gains 1400 ATK, rising to 3900 ATK. Luke gasps "What?!" and Booster crows that this is the power he gained when he sold his soul to the devil, ordering "Rocketortoise Modularchelon" to attack "Nightbringer Dragon" with "Shell Shocking Strike". "Rocketortoise Modularchelon" rams "Nightbringer Dragon" and destroys it, reducing Luke to 700 LP as he clings onto the Earth and Tracker cries that he's in trouble. Booster claims that the one who pioneered space exploration said that you should be willing to sell your soul to the devil to go to space, and as Luke grits his teeth Booster enthusiastically proclaims that now he's above geostationary orbit and ends his turn.
Luke angrily clenches his fist, thinking that he didn't think he'd have such a hard time with a Duel he should have won easily and he blames Yuga for it. Booster asks if something is wrong, and Luke grins and comments that Booster may have sold his soul to the devil, but Luke has tamed the devil inside him, a statement that piques Booster's interest. Luke declares his turn and draws five cards, then returns three Dragon monsters (the two "Twin Edge Dragons" and "Nightbringer Dragon") from his Graveyard to his Deck to activate the Spell Card "Dragon's Return", drawing a card. Drawing "Gravity Plus Dragon", he adds it to his hand containing his third "Twin Edge Dragon", "Dragorite", "The Fire Dragon", "Sylphidra", and "Mountain", then he Summons "Twin Edge Dragon" as he proclaims that he's got all three. Then he Tributes "Twin Edge Dragon" to Tribute Summon "Gravity Plus Dragon", a Level 6 monster with 1600 ATK, rendering it immune to "Outer Space". Booster gasps, and Luke grins as he examines his hand, but then he finds himself thinking about his move; "Gravity Plus Dragon" can power up for every Dragon Normal Monster he controls and he has three in his hand ("Dragorite", "The Fire Dragon" and "Sylphidra"), but though he'll be able to destroy "Modularchelon", he can only Summon two of them since he already has "Gravity Plus Dragon" on his field. He wonders which he should choose, seeing "Dragorite" as Yuga, "The Fire Dragon" as Gavin and "Sylphidra" as Romin, then sees himself as "Gravity Plus Dragon". Booster asks if something is wrong, but as Luke remembers Yuga saying that he wouldn't enter the tournament he finally realizes what Yuga was trying to do. Booster asks what he means, pointing out that Yuga isn't even here, but Luke declares that he understands.
In the forest, Gavin has just told Romin what Yuga's intentions are, reasoning that Yuga is probably thinking a certain manner. Romin finally understands what he means too as back at the Duel, Luke declares that this is his choice, Summoning "The Fire Dragon" and "Sylphidra" - the cards representing Gavin and Romin, who both fall to 1200 ATK. Apologizing to Yuga as he discards the "Dragorite" representing him to the Graveyard, he activates the effect of "Gravity Plus Dragon", increasing its ATK by 400 for each Normal Monster he controls. "Gravity Plus Dragon roars as it rises to 2400 ATK and blows Leo and Valencia away, though Booster protests that Luke is underestimating space exploration and this wouldn't even be enough to reach satellite orbit. In that case, Luke activates his own Field Spell; "Mountain", ascending everyone bar Booster on mountains that spear into space as Luke explains that it will increase the ATK and DEF of Dragon monsters by 200. Booster gasps that Luke used high-altitude terrain to escape the gravitational field more easily and Luke returns another Dragon monster from his Graveyard to his Deck to draw another card, drawing "Dragon's Inferno". Celebrating his draw, he activates the Spell, destroying a Spell or Trap Card Booster controls. Booster gasps that it can't be as Luke destroys "Outer Space", dropping Booster into a tree as Leo laments their dreams of space and restoring the ATK of "The Fire Dragon" and "Sylphidra". Luke orders his equal, "Gravity Plus Dragon", and its two servants to attack, and "Gravity Plus Dragon" blasts energy crosses at "Modularchelon", destroying it and reducing Booster to 3300 LP before "The Fire Dragon" cooks him with a blast of fire, reducing him to 1600 LP, and finally "Sylphidra" launches three twisters at Booster as he frantically tries to get out of the way, blasting off his helmet and reducing his LP to zero.
As the Solid Vision fades, Booster dizzily lies on his back as he gasps that the Duel yet moves, while Leo holds his helmet and calls out to him in concern (and Valencia swirls around them, calling "It is I, Seagull"). Luke cheers that he did it, and he looks at his fist and smiles as Tracker says his name in confusion. Asana comments that Luke finally understands, and as Luke nods in agreement, Gavin and Romin arrive, Gavin calling his name and Romin expressing surprise at the sight of Tracker, the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club and the "weird astronaut cosplayers". Luke admits that a lot has happened and asks them why they came all the way out here, and Gavin explains that they figured out what Yuga was trying to say. Romin remembers sitting with "Prima Guitarna the Shining Superstar" and "CAN:D" after her second Duel with Yuga, stating that she's sure Yuga didn't want to keep her from her dream, while Gavin recalls his Duel with Rayne, believing that Yuga wanted him to become a distinguished Duelist. Luke agrees, adding that Yuga wanted to push him on his daor to becoming the King of Duels, and though Gavin isn't sure Yuga is willing to have gone that far, Romin believes that Yuga stepped out of the tournament for their sakes. Asana agrees that's who Yuga is and she offers to let today's excavations slide, much to Luke and Tracker's joy. The Space Operations Duel Squad try to sidle away quietly, but Luke tells them to wait and suggests that they go digging together as thanks for helping him realize something important. Gavin and Romin smile and rush into the mine with them as the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club watch them with smiles.
But that evening at the Road Laboratory, despite being grimy, Luke, Romin and Gavin haven't found any Maximums, and Yuga realizes that they went to the mine. Luke adds that in exchange they found Yuga's true feelings. Yuga smiles and Luke declares that Yuga will see the moment he becomes the King of Duels up close, he's going to see it! He comments that it's so important he said it twice and he asks Yuga to stay with them as their manager, much to Yuga's surprise, but when he doesn't agree Luke suggests a cheergirl or a cheerboy, or even as a substitute. Yuga replies that he was going to follow their progress anyway, and Luke grins and begins slapping Yuga's knees in thanks, much to Yuga's discomfort and as he begs Luke to stop, Romin and Gavin burst out laughing, as does Yuga eventually.

Luke's hand contains two copies of "Twin Edge Dragon", "Dragon's Hail", "Dragon's Return", and "Nightbringer Dragon". Luke Normal Summons two copies of "Twin Edge Dragon" (1000/0). Luke Tributes both "Twin Edge Dragon" to Tribute Summon "Nightbringer Dragon" (2400/1500). Luke activates the effect of "Nightbringer Dragon", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to make Booster draw two cards, then inflict 100 damage to Booster for each card in his hand. Luke sends "Dragon Knight of Darkness" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and Booster draws two cards, so he has six cards in his hand (Booster: 4000 → 3400 LP). Luke Sets two cards.
Turn 2: Booster
Booster's hand contains two copies of "Boosturtle", "Outer Space", two copies of "Spyturtle", and "Destructurtle Meteor". Booster draws "Rocketortoise Modularchelon". Booster Normal Summons two copies of "Boosturtle" (1000/500). Booster Tributes both "Boosturtle" to Tribute Summon "Rocketortoise Modularchelon" (2500/1600). Booster activates the Field Spell "Outer Space". The effect of "Outer Space" decreases the ATK/DEF of all Level 4 or lower monsters on the field by 300. Booster Normal Summons two copies of "Spyturtle" (800/1300 → 500/1000). Booster activates the effect of a "Spyturtle", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to choose a Level 3 to 8 monster Luke controls to reduce its Level by two until the end of the turn. Booster sends "Pierce!" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and chooses "Nightbringer Dragon" ("Nightbringer Dragon": Level 7 → Level 5). Luke activates his Set Spell "Dragon's Return", returning three Dragon Type monsters from his Graveyard to his Deck to draw a card. He returns two copies of "Twin Edge Dragon" and "Nightbringer Dragon" from his Graveyard to his Deck and draws "Gravity Plus Dragon". Luke Normal Summons "Twin Edge Dragon" (1000/0 → 700/0). Luke Tributes "Twin Edge Dragon" to Tribute Summon "Gravity Plus Dragon" (1600/1000). Luke Normal Summons "Sylphidra" (1500/0 → 1200/0) and "The Fire Dragon" (1500/0 → 1200/0). - Booster's "Space: the Duelist's final frontier" when introducing himself to Luke, Tracker, and the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club is a reference to the first line of opening speech of Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Coincidentally, the former is known as "Great Space Operations" (宇宙大作戦 Uchū Daisakusen) in Japan.
