SummaryEdit

Spotlights shine on Team YNR and Team King Luke's Kings in Goha Stadium as Oceania Illumilina recaps the point totals; YNR have 770 and so do King Luke's Kings, so it's a tie. Yuga, Roa, Nail, Luke, Romin and Gavin all watch as Oceania declares that the deciding match of the Goha Rush Duel Team Battle Royal will soon begin; Yuga Ohdo vs. Luke. As the crowd cheers, a hologram of the crown of the King of Duels around Oceania and she wonders just which team will take home the win and the title "King of Duels", excitedly crying that she can't wait as Yuga and Luke grin and face off.

Roa and Nail discuss Otes' motives.

The crowd, including the Post-Apocalyptic Club, the Gourmet Comrades Team, the Newspaper Club, Tiger and the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club all watch in excitement as the two teams begin rising on the hexagonal pillars. As Luke eagerly looks across the field, Romin and Gavin discuss what Otes meant when he mentioned the true meaning of the tournament. Gavin suggests that they may find out during the Duel between Yuga and Luke as his, Romin, Roa and Nail's platforms all come to a stop while Luke and Yuga's continue to ascend. Roa too is discussing the situation with Nail, commenting that regardless of his motives there's no question that the mastermind behind the tournament is Otes, and he had to have been responsible for Goha 66's attempts to excavate the Duel server too. They both note that they still don't know what Otes is after, and Roa adds that Yuga hasn't said anything either as usual, but does Nail think he already knows the truth. Nail replies that this time even Yuga doesn't seem fully confident about the answer yet and smiles as he comments that Yuga told him to be prepared for whatever happened, bemused at the notion of Yuga giving him orders but declaring it providence nonetheless...but Roa isn't listening, having called Tyler for an update. Down in the Garden of Curiosity, Tyler tells him to shut up while he's busy, chowing down on food provided for him by Grimes, and Toombs and yelling that he needs more sugar; Grimes runs off to comply while Kit holds the phone for Tyler and Seatbastian watches from the other side of the data. Mimi meanwhile is furious that her staff still haven't found who wrote the business proposal, and her secretary and the other executive can only bow in apology, protesting that they're conducting a full-scale investigation. Mimi notes that whoever wrote the proposal has to be up to something and orders them to find out who it is; they immediately hurry away to comply.

Luke asks Yuga not to hold back against him.

In Goha Stadium, Luke comments that Romin has become pretty dependable to have beaten someone like Roa, and she stammers that she can get the job done when she needs to. Luke admits that he's glad to have her as a friend, and she blushes and thanks him. Luke adds that he never thought Gavin would be able to manage a draw with Nail of all people, much to Gavin's embarrassment and he sheepishly asks how little Luke thought of him. Luke states that he was able to get here because of them and thanks Romin and Gavin, much to their joy. He turns to face Yuga, reminding him how happy he is to be in the finals with him and Yuga agrees. Luke adds that he has no idea what kind of crazy things are happening in the tournament, but asks Yuga to promise not to hold back against him and lose on purpose no matter what happens, no matter their unbreakable friendship, he shouldn't give him the title of King of Duels as Mimi enters the arena. Yuga reassures Luke that he won't, and Luke grins, then adds that if Yuga really wants to he can, but Yuga explains that he's finally getting to Rush Duel with Luke here and will push onward on his road with all his might. Luke laughs that of course Yuga would say that, considering they've both been running their daors down at full power to win the crown (though Yuga weakly protests that he hasn't been doing that). Oceania thanks everyone for waiting and declares that it's time to begin the final match of the Goha Rush Duel Team Battle Royal and compresses her limbs into her fish costume, calling "Let's-a-go!" and Luke and Yuga both call "Let's go! Rush Duel!" as they insert their Decks into their Duel Disks, deploying the blades and the green holographic sphere.

Yuga panics when he draws a bad hand.

Yuga takes the first turn, declaring his turn and drawing "Amazing Dealer", but then he blanches at the sight of the rest of the cards in his hand; "Ice Age Catapult", "Full Meteor Impact", "Savage Claw Tiger", and "Sevens Road Force". Asana, Tiger, Schubel and Pidgetrap are surprised by his reaction, and Yuga nervously Summons "Amazing Dealer", then pays 300 LP to activate its effect, sending three cards from his hand to the Graveyard and drawing three cards. His LP falls to 3700 as he sends "Ice Age Catapult", "Full Meteor Impact" and "Savage Claw Tiger" from his hand to the Graveyard, then he draws "Surprising Barcode", "Sevens Road Magician", and "Kuribot". He Summons "Kuribot", then he stammers as he Tributes his two monsters to Tribute Summon, chanting "T-The walls, the mountains, and even the planets that block my way—! Carve open a road through them all and press onward! L-Let's go! Sevens Road Magician!" Schubel celebrates the appearance of "Sevens Road" and Galian eagerly asks what will come next, but Yuga just sweats nervously as Romin notes that all he's done is paid 300 LP to Summon "Sevens Road Magician", and Gavin realizes that they've seen Yuga like this before; the day after Yuga installed Rush Dueling, during his first Rush Duel with Luke. Romin remembers in shock that Yuga was only able to Summon one low-Level monsters on his first turn against Luke and recalls Yuga's nervous reaction then, and Gavin admits that at least this is better than their last Duel. Asana ruefully notes that Yuga would have been doomed if he hadn't drawn "Amazing Dealer" and Galian, Schubel, Pidgetrap and Caterpillio all nod in agreement. Laughing nervously, Yuga Sets "Sevens Road Force" and "Surprising Barcode" and he ends his turn. Luke gruffly reminds Yuga that he promised nothing would get in the way of their Duel, not even a bad hand. Yuga is surprised, but then reassures Luke that he's got it, though Luke once again suggests that Yuga can lose if he wants. But Yuga vows that he'll definitely win this Duel, and Luke claims he knew Yuga would say that as Romin and Gavin laugh nervously.

Luke quickly overpowers Yuga with his Dragons.

Luke declares his turn and draws, then he examines his hand, containing "Triad Drago", "Sportsdragon Pitcher", "Dragorite", "Steel Force", and "7 Chance". He Summons three monsters - "Dragorite", "Sportsdragon Pitcher" and "Triad Drago", then activates the effect of "Triad Drago" to draw a card - "Multistrike Dragon Dragias". Celebrating his draw, Luke Tributes "Triad Drago" and "Sportsdragon Pitcher" to Tribute Summon, chanting "Right now, in my galaxy, seven supernovas unleash a gamma-ray burst! Even if you tell me to stop, it's too late! Even if you tell me to stop, it's too late! There's a reason I said it twice. Come on out! Multistrike Dragon Dragias!" Luke sends "Volcano Attack Dragon" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to activate the "Gias Charge" effect of "Dragias" and Yuga braces himself as Luke Sets two cards, then declares his Battle Phase, ordering "Dragias" to attack "Sevens Road" with "Striking Light Bullet of Explosive Supremacy". "Dragias" blasts the green orbs from its body and reduces "Sevens Road" to a flickering flame, reducing Yuga to 3300 LP, and Romin celebrates Luke's depletion of Yuga's monsters, Gavin noting that Luke will win if he attacks with "Dragias" and "Dragorite". As the crowd watch breathlessly, Luke vows that he will defeat Yuga and become the King of Duels. The crowd gasps and Oceania descends on her platform, asking if Yuga Ohdo, the creator of Rush Dueling, will be defeated here. She believes that he will, and Luke orders "Dragias" to deal the finishing blow.

Yuga reveals seven cards to stop his battle damage - including his Maximum.

But as "Dragias" attacks, it is enveloped in smoke, much to Luke's shock. The smoke clears to reveal a large pink and red-striped box on Yuga's side of the field next to his activated Trap Card, "Surprising Barcode", which Yuga could activate since he took battle damage. He can reveal the top seven cards of his Deck, and if he excavates five monsters, then he'll take no battle damage for the rest of the turn. As seven cards fly from the top of Yuga's Deck and into the box, Luke grins and comments that of course Yuga would have a Trap to counter this, though it'll take more than this to shock him. Yuga grins and suggests they open the box, which bursts open with a cloud of smoke in "Dragias'" face, much to the Dragon's shock, and reveals the seven cards Yuga excavated - "Bascule the Mobile Fortress", "Level Blast", "Bendorbreak the Conqueror", "Elemental Rush", "Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan [L]", "Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan", and "Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan [R]". Oceania counts the five monsters among them; "Bascule", "Bendorbreak" and the three "Vast Vulcan" parts and declares that there are five monsters, so Yuga won't take any battle damage for the rest of the turn. But Gavin, Romin and Luke are all shocked to see the three parts of "Vast Vulcan", Yuga's Maximum. Yuga grins and he asks if Luke is surprised now. Oceania pops up to admit that she's definitely shocked, and Yuga reveals that he can return the seven cards to the top of his Deck in any order. He puts the three parts of "Vast Vulcan" on the top as he does so and Luke gasps in shock as Gavin notes that Yuga won't take any battle damage for the rest of the turn thanks to "Surprising Barcode" so it will be pointless for Luke to attack, while Romin adds that Yuga will draw his Maximum on his next turn. Roa congratulates Yuga and Nail notes that he not only overturned his overwhelming disadvantage, he gained a mental advantage as well and this is Yuga's bottomless strength. Luke can only end his turn in frustration.

Yuga declares his turn and draws "Elemental Rush", "Level Blast", "Vast Vulcan [L]", "Vast Vulcan", and "Vast Vulcan [R]", and Gavin clenches his teeth as Romin cries that it's coming, while Luke braces himself. Yuga chants "No matter if volcanoes, glaciers, or meteors block my way!" "Providence!" Nail declares. "Rock!" Roa declares. "Pride!" Asana chants. "They'll carve a road through it all!" Yuga chants, and he, Nail, Roa and Asana chant "and flare up into a blaze!" The earth opens in a fissure behind Yuga as he chants "Maximum Summon! Come on out! Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan!" "Vast Vulcan" emerges with 3300 MAXIMUM ATK and Oceania cries that Yuga's Maximum Monster is here, stunning Tracker and Post-Apocalyptic Club, impressing Tiger and the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club, and shocking Rayne and Rino. As Gavin and Romin rise up beside Luke in a hovering platform, Yuga tells Luke that he's keeping his promise to give this Duel his all and defeat Luke. He activates "The Inferno Blaze" effect of "Vast Vulcan", sending "Bascule the Moving Fortress" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to reduce the ATK of "Dragias" by 700, then inflict 700 damage to Luke. "Vast Vulcan" raises its hand and generates a magic circle, blasting four laughing fireballs at "Dragias" and reducing it to 1800 ATK, while flames gush past Luke and reduce him to 3300 LP. Yuga then sends "Bendorbreak the Conqueror" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to activate "The Ultimate Eruption" effect of "Vast Vulcan", reducing the ATK of "Dragias" by a further 800, and "Vast Vulcan" blasts a fireball from the draconian head on its right arm, reducing "Dragias" to 1000 ATK as Luke grits his teeth. Yuga Sets a card, then activates a Spell Card, "Level Blast", inflicting damage to Luke equal to the Level of "Vast Vulcan" times 100, for a total of 1000 damage. Yellow light surrounds "Vast Vulcan", and Luke is engulfed by flaming energy, reducing him to 2300 LP. Gavin comments how merciless the assault is and laments that Yuga, who had previously been their ally, is now their enemy; to think that a day would come where a threat as strong as him would stand in their way. Yuga declares the finishing blow and orders "Vast Vulcan" to attack "Dragias" with "Vulcan Ignite Hyperdrive". As "Vast Vulcan" blasts a pillar of lava from its chest at "Dragias", Romin cries that Luke will lose if this attack destroys "Dragias", and Rayne laments that just as she thought a Maximum is too much even for Luke, but Gavin and Rino believe it isn't. The attack continues to approach Luke, and Romin screams his name.

Luke plays "7 Chance".

Luke swiftly activates a Trap Card, much to Yuga's shock, "7 Chance". An oversized slot machine appears by Luke and he puts his hand on the lever, explaining that he can regain 3000 LP if he gets two Level 7 or higher monsters, and if he gets three he'll get an extra 1500 LP. He backflips into "Dragias", then emerges to slam down the lever and spin the machine, which quickly reveals the first card - "Dragonic Slayer", as Romin notes, while Gavin points out that it's Level 7. Luke eagerly suggests they keep going, but the next spin is "Treasure Dragon" and Rayne laments that it's too bad that it's Level 3. Luke grimaces, but claims he still has a chance, and the final spin lands...on "Steel Strike Dragon Metagias", a Level 7 monster. Luke, Romin, Gavin, Rayne and Rino all celebrate the result and as Luke draws the three cards Gavin gasps that "Metagias" is Luke's new ace. Yuga gasps in shock and Roa comments that this time Luke has a card they've never seen before, Nail agreeing that he isn't to be underestimated. Rino celebrates that now Luke will gain 3000 LP, bringing him to 5300 LP. Then the attack of "Vast Vulcan" connects and destroys "Dragias", reducing Luke to 3000 LP. Gavin congratulates Luke and Romin cheers that he held out against the attacks of "Vast Vulcan". Luke grins and he asks Yuga how that was, and Yuga admits that it's as expected of Luke, while Mimi and the Goha executives are all shocked by how evenly matched Yuga and Luke are.

The Solid Vision begins to flicker.

But then the holograms of "Vast Vulcan" and "Dragorite" begin to flicker, and Roa realizes that this has happened before. Nail agrees that there was also an outage during his Duel with Gavin and checks his tablet, noting that there have been no reports of any weather or equipment failures that could cause power outages in Goha City, so there must be another cause. Luke calls Yuga's name, and Yuga nods, then Roa rings Tyler for an update. Tyler (with Kit still holding the phone for him) excitedly declares that he's found in, and Roa yanks the phone away from his ear as Tyler explains that something really bad is happening in the tournament - someone, somewhere, is trying really hard to hack Goha's servers. Yuga is pleased to finally know what is happening, but Roa, Mimi and the Goha executives are all shocked, Mimi declaring that the hacker has some nerve taking on the fortress of Goha Enterprises, ordering the executives to hurry and block the hack. As they move to comply Luke comments that he thinks he's starting to get what's going on, but Goha's secretary then informs Mimi that even the entire staff have been unable to get a grasp on the current status of the hack (as the other executive flap around uselessly in the background). Mimi growls in frustration and to her secretary's shock she leaps onto a hovering platform. Nail notes that Tyler's report confirms the unauthorized access took place at the very beginning of the tournament, but the reason it didn't come to light until now was because it was very cleverly camouflaged (ignoring Mimi's frantic demands for Nail to fix the problem). Nail notes that it's also more than just a simple hack, much to Gavin's shock and he asks what that means. Mimi doesn't care, since shutting down the physical server can stop further unauthorized access, but her embarrassed secretary has to admits that he doesn't know where the Goha Duel Server is, and on considering it, neither does Mimi. Nail notes that there's nothing they can do in response to the hack if the server's location is unknown, admitting that it's a clever strategy.

The Duelstronauts's footage reveals the Goha Duel Server on the surface of the moon.

Luke comments that Yuga likely already has an idea of what's going on, but before Yuga can respond Booster Page calls out to him, waving his Hubbel Space Binoculars as Leo and Valencia enter the stadium carrying a projector. Booster explains that they managed to find what Yuga asked them for according to his instructions and Luke asks in surprise how Booster and his friends know Yuga. Yuga explains that they ran into them by chance and he had a thought; the mastermind instigated the actions of Goha 66 to distract everyone from their true purpose. So if they were distracted looking underground, then the mastermind's true goal would be space. Everyone looks up at the sky in shock and Valencia calls "Standby, OK!" in English, while Leo declares that their film is rolling and Booster explains that per Yuga's instructions they used their Hubbel Space Binoculars to look up, up and up, and with the help of Nail they used a program that could analyze the lunar surface as accurately as possible. They zoom in on the surface of the moon, revealing a large hexagon on the surface with something lying in the center. Gavin wonders if it's man-made and Romin asks if it's a pattern, and even Nail admits that he's never seen anything like this. As the film zooms in further on the hexagon, it shows it to be made up of several walls in jagged patterns, surrounded by multiple Goha Enterprises Drones, and Roa realizes what it is. Nail confirms that this is the Goha Duel Server, or rather the Duel Program itself, much to Mimi's shock. Nail explains that the Duel Program needs to be protected from vandalism and any unforeseen natural disasters, so the surface of the moon was chosen rather than a location on Earth, but even in space the dangers of cosmic radiation and space debris must be considered. Mimi agrees as Nail explains that Goha chose to dig a trench on the moon to record the program, likely deeper than five meters. Romin asks if it's data, but Mimi understands the concept; it's like a huge gramophone records, and Gavin is shocked that the Goha Duel Server was something so analogue given how the company boast of being at the cutting edge of science and technology. Nail confirms that the data is digital, if a little primitive, but there's no sturdier system in the world.

The Super Rush Robot is revealed on the moon.

Luke has spotted the figure in the center of the server, and Romin wonders if it's a human as the footage zooms in, but Gavin recognizes it - it's what Yuga drew earlier. Luke gasps that it's the Luke Robot, but Romin and Gavin remind him that it's the Rush Duel Robot. The Duel Dinosaur Club, Post-Apocalyptic Club, Newspaper Club (with Scoop taking frantic notes and Cub taking pictures), Tiger and the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club (with Caterpillio having removed his mask in shock), Janko, his aides and the Dueling Insects Club all look at the images in shock and Booster declares that this is the first time that the public has ever laid eyes on the physical Rush Duel Program Data.

Otes monitors events from underground.

But Roa notices that the Rush Robot looks a little damaged, and everyone gasps as they realize that hundreds of Goha Enterprises Drones are chipping away at the structure. Mimi cries that it's being eroded, so is the Rush Duel Program being destroyed? Roa and Nail gasp and Galian cries "W-What?" Asana realizes something and she whispers that this is bad, much to Galian and Tiger's surprise. Tyler confirms that Nail was right and this isn't just a hack, much to the surprise of Kit, Grimes and Toombs. Roa asks what Tyler means and Yuga notes that its the true purpose of the tournament.

And deep below Goha Stadium, Otes stands atop The Relic with an information screen in front of him noting the progress of the operation, noting that this is Real-Time Rush Duel Uninstall with a smile on his face.

Featured Duel: Yuga Ohdo vs Lucidien "Luke" KallisterEdit

The Duel is conducted as a Rush Duel.

Turn 1: Yuga
Yuga's hand contains "Ice Age Catapult", "Full Meteor Impact", "Savage Claw Tiger", and "Sevens Road Force". Yuga draws "Amazing Dealer". Yuga Normal Summons "Amazing Dealer" (0/1000). As Yuga has three or less monsters in his Graveyard, he activates the effect of "Amazing Dealer", paying 300 LP (Yuga: 4000 → 3700 LP) to send three cards from his hand to the Graveyard, then draw three cards. Yuga sends "Ice Age Catapult", "Full Meteor Impact", and "Savage Claw Tiger" from his hand to the Graveyard and draws "Surprising Barcode", "Sevens Road Magician", and "Kuribot". Yuga Normal Summons "Kuribot" (300/200). Yuga Tributes "Kuribot" and "Amazing Dealer" to Tribute Summon "Sevens Road Magician" (2100/1500). Yuga Sets "Sevens Road Force" and "Surprising Barcode".

Turn 2: Luke
Luke's hand contains "Triad Drago", "Sportsdragon Pitcher", "Dragorite", "Steel Force", and "7 Chance". Luke Normal Summons "Triad Drago" (300/1300), "Sportsdragon Pitcher" (0/1000), and "Dragorite" (1500/0). As Yuga controls a Level 7 or higher monster and Luke controls two non-Level 3 Dragon Type monsters, Luke activates the effect of "Triad Drago", drawing a card. He draws "Multistrike Dragon Dragias". Luke Tributes "Triad Drago" and "Pitcher" to Tribute Summon "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" (2500/1500). Luke activates the effect of "Dragias", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to allow it to declare a second attack this turn if it destroys a monster Yuga controls by battle. Luke sends "Volcano Attack Dragon" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. Luke Sets two cards, then "Dragias" attacks and destroys "Sevens Road Magician" (Yuga: 3700 → 3300 LP). As Yuga took battle damage from Luke's attacking monster, he activates his Set Trap "Surprising Barcode", excavating the top seven cards of his Deck and revealing them, and if he excavates five or more monsters with this effect, he takes no battle damage for the rest of this turn. Afterwards, Yuga returns the excavated cards to the top of the Deck in any order. Yuga excavates "Bascule the Mobile Fortress", "Level Blast", "Bendorbreak the Conqueror", "Elemental Rush", "Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan [L]", "Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan", and "Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan [R]", so he takes no battle damage for the rest of the turn, then he places "Elemental Rush", "Level Blast", "Vast Vulcan [L]", "Vast Vulcan", "Vast Vulcan [R]", "Bascule", and "Bendorbreak" on the top of his Deck.

Turn 3: Yuga
Yuga draws "Elemental Rush", "Level Blast", "Vast Vulcan [L]", "Vast Vulcan", and "Vast Vulcan [R]". Yuga Maximum Summons "Vast Vulcan", "Vast Vulcan [L]", and "Vast Vulcan [R]", entering Maximum Mode (3300 MAXIMUM ATK). As "Vast Vulcan" is in Maximum Mode, Yuga activates the effect of "Vast Vulcan [R]", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to choose a face-up monster on the field to have it lose ATK equal to its Level x 100 until the end of the turn, the inflict damage to Luke equal to that monster's Level x 100. Yuga sends "Bascule" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and chooses the Level 7 "Dragias" ("Dragias": 2500/1500 → 1800/1500)(Luke: 4000 → 3300 LP). As "Vast Vulcan" is in Maximum Mode, Yuga activates the effect of "Vast Vulcan [L]", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to choose a face-up monster Luke controls and have it lose 800 ATK until the end of this turn, then Yuga can destroy a Field Spell Luke controls, and if he does, Luke takes 800 damage. Yuga sends "Bendorbreak" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and chooses "Dragias" ("Dragias": 1800/1500 → 1000/1500). Yuga Sets a card. Then, as both players control a Level 7 or higher monster, Yuga activates the Spell "Level Blast", choosing a monster he controls to inflict damage to Luke equal to its Level x 100, but he can only attack with one monster this turn. Yuga chooses the Level 10 "Vast Vulcan" (Luke: 3300 → 2300 LP). "Vast Vulcan" attacks "Dragias", but since a Level 7 or higher monster Yuga controls declared an attack, Luke activates his Set Trap "7 Chance", drawing three cards and revealing them, and if he draws two or more Level 7 monsters, he gains 1500 LP for each Level 7 or higher monster he drew with this effect. Luke draws the Level 7 "Dragonic Slayer", the Level 3 "Treasure Dragon", and the Level 7 "Steel Strike Dragon Metagias" (Luke: 2300 → 5300 LP). The attack continues and "Dragias" is destroyed (Luke: 5300 → 3000 LP).

Duel continues in the next episode.
