SummaryEdit

Atop the Goha Enterprises Main Office, Yuran announces that Star Six is ready for launch (in the dub, this is the first time the ship is directly named). Inside, Yuro asks what the status is of the Goha Enterprises Drones on the moon, but when the holoscreen appears the five Goha Six are shocked to see the Drones are still motionless. Yuka wonders if it's because everyone is watching Yuga's Duel and sure enough, dozens of people below them are watching the Duel between the two giant robots on their tablets and on the holoscreens. Saburamen encourages this, stating now is not the time to quarrel, and Yuo whispers Yuga's name back on Star Six. Then the door to the flight deck opens and Mrs. Drone asks them to pardon the intrusion as a caped figure walks into the room, much to the surprise and joy of the Goha Six. Yuro nods and orders them to take off, Star Six blasting into the sky.

As the Super Rush Robot faces off against the Otes Robot and Otes' "Sevens Road Magician" and "Sevens Road Witch", Yuga declares his turn and draws five cards; "Perfect Sevens", "Curtain of Sparks", "Spot Moonlight", "Shimmering Friendship", and "Kuribot". He Summons "Kuribot" and pays 500 LP to activate its effect, adding another "Kuribot" from his Graveyard to his hand. Yuga falls to 1800 LP as he Summons the "Kuribot" he just added to his hand, then Tributes it to Tribute Summon "Shimmering Friendship. Then Yuga activates the effect of "Shimmering Friendship", sending the top two cards of his Deck to the Graveyard. Holding up "Prima Guitarna the Shining Superstar" and "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal", Yuga explains that if he sent two Level 7 or higher monsters to the Graveyard with different Type, he can add two monsters from his Graveyard to his hand. He takes back "Prima Guitarna" and "Heavy Metal", and Roa suggests they do this. Yuga Tributes his two monsters to Tribute Summon, and he and Roa tell "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" to come forth. Down on Earth the spectators cheer, Tyler encouraging them to destroy "Sevens Road Witch" with the effect of "Heavy Metal", Toombs cheering that he's right behind them.

Otes activates a Trap Card, and Roa scowls as Otes reveals "Darkness Restraint", changing "Heavy Metal" to face-down Defense Position. But Roa laughs that Otes has done it now and Yuga activates a Spell Card, "Spot Moonlight", changing "Heavy Metal" back into Attack Position. Otes reminds them that they still won't be able to use the effect of "Heavy Metal" as it was changed face-down, though Roa tells him that doesn't matter and Yuga clarifies that since he changed a Level 7 or higher monster back to Attack Position he can Special Summon a monster from his hand. Romin calls Yuga's name and Yuga takes "Prima Guitarna" from his hand, a holographic duplicate of the card materializing in the Super Rush Robot's fingers as Yuga and Romin chant "Prima Guitarna the Shining Superstar! Making her debut on the moon!" As "Prima Guitarna" and "Heavy Metal" stand together, Tyler and Toombs tear up over the two monsters of RoaRomin and Mimi leads Roa's fangirls in cheering them sharing the stage. Yuga pays another 1000 LP, falling to 800, to activate the effect of "Prima Guitarna" and increase both it and "Heavy Metal's" ATK by 600, to 2800 and 3100 respectively. Roa tells Yuga they're with him and Romin encourages him to hit Otes with a blast beat. Yuga Set two cards and declares battle -

- Nail urgently warns Yuga to wait, and they look the Super Rush Robot up to see a dogū-in-a-parfait-shaped section of the Goha Duel Server hurtling towards them. Luke quickly orders Gavin and "providence" to dodge, but Yuga tells them not to, as the Goha Duel Server would take the hit. Luke curses as Prioria Sweetalina tells them to take her special move; Clay Figure Parfait Attack. The sculpture crashes into the Super Rush Robot and drives it backwards, the seven kids crying out at the impact, but fortunately they're able to throw it off just in time. But the Otes Robot readies more projectiles from the Goha Duel Server; Oceania Illumilina announcing her Electric Catfish Shoot (a large catfish with an angler's light), Terra Kneadalina declaring her Volcanic Drill Shoot (a drill emerging from a volcano that actually seems partly molten) and Celestia Noodlina ordering her UFO Topping Shoot (a UFO in a ramen bowl) as she sucks down ramen. Alarms sound as Gavin yelps that this is bad and Luke gasps that they'll be finished for sure if they're hit, though Asana states they can't dodge.

But then a sculpture of a ramen bowl appears as Saburamen declares his Ramen Barrier, Yosh declares his Post-Apocalyptic Block as a sculpture in the shape of an animal mask appears and Scoop his Big Scoop Guard as a camera-shaped sculpture appears, each one blocking the sculptures thrown by the Otes Robot, and all six explode into stone fragments. Yuga gasps and down on Earth, Saburamen notes they've uninstalled their formats to Briscoe and Sushiko, Scoop adding to Masa and Cub that they can just reinstall them later. Yosh leads Mason, Hicks, Graves and a group of kids in a cheer, telling everyone else to follow his lead, and more formats are uninstalled (including a makeup brush, binoculars, a spade, a toaster, harisen, skateboard, maneki neko and microphone) and they slam into an energy shield generated by the Otes Robot that nevertheless shakes its occupants. Konvoy Sagawa states they'll just hit them with a bigger one and the Otes Robot rips out a semi-truck sculpture and throws it at the Super Rush Robot, which struggles to push it back. Yuga gasps this is bad to himself as the Super Rush Robot shakes.

Then Star Six crashes through the sculpture, and the holograms of Yuro Goha, Yujin Goha, Yuka Goha, Yuran Goha, Yuo Goha and Yuga Goha - the Goha Six - all appear above it, Yuga Goha now wearing his purple-trimmed presidential robes again. The hologram of Mrs. Drone appears beside them as the Super Rush Robot lands on Star Six and Yuga thanks them all, Luke thanking Swirls in English. Yuga Goha tells them to go now, and Yuga Ohdo orders "Heavy Metal" to attack "Sevens Road Witch", he and Roa ordering the "Headbanger's Destruction" attack of "Heavy Metal". "Heavy Metal" dives past "Sevens Road Witch" and destroys her with a slash of its microphone, Otes crying out as he falls to 1400 LP, and then Yuga orders "Prima Guitarna" to attack "Sevens Road Magician", he and Romin declaring the "Melodic Refrain Shock" attack of "Prima Guitarna" as she unleashes a wave of music, destroying "Sevens Road Magician" and taking Otes down to 1100 LP, sending Oceania, Ghostia Taxilina, Celestia, Sagawa, Prioria and Terra into a cross-eyed screaming fit. Roa and Romin celebrate as "Heavy Metal" and "Prima Guitarna" alight beside the Super Rush Robot and Asana confirms the destruction of the two Sevens Road monsters, Gavin praising their efforts as Luke celebrates finally defeating Otes' "Sevens Road Magician".

Yuga ends his turn, returning the ATK of "Prima Guitarna" and "Heavy Metal" to normal, and he has the Super Rush Robot point accusingly at Otes, noting that his goal seems to be to destroy Dueling. Roa tells him to cough up the reason for manipulating Yuga into playing out this oh-so-grand farce and to their surprise, Otes agrees. He claims that he created the first Duels before even Goha Dueling, much to Asana's shock, and Otes continues, explaining that Dueling became so complex and regulated it eventually left the hands of children altogether. In the depths of despair Otes found the SEVENS book, and as was written he followed its instructions for the sake of a new future, deciding to erase Dueling from the world as he sees the seven Sevens Road monsters in front of the book. Romin asks in shock why Otes would go to all this trouble and Gavin agrees Otes had the skills to destroy Dueling on his own. But Otes claims he couldn't let that happen; as children must decide the rules of games they must also be the ones to bring games to their end, and children must decide it all, for they are the king of games.

He declares his turn and draws five cards; "Darkness Greed", "Darkness Sanga", "Darkness Singularity", "Darkness Disorder", and "Darkness Fault". As Yuga controls a Level 7 or higher monster and Otes only has DARK Spellcasters in his Graveyard ("Sevens Road Magician", "Sevens Road Enchanter", "Sevens Road Sorcerer", "Sevens Road Wiz", "Sevens Road Warlock", "Sevens Road Witch", and "Sevens Road Mage") he activates "Darkness Greed", drawing two cards using the greed of darkness. Nail is shocked that Otes drew two cards and Luke comments it was certainly greedy of him (the Japanese words for "five", "four" and "nine", "go", "yon" and "kyu" stated in a row sound similar to "gōyoku", the Japanese word for greed also used in the title of the "Pot of Greed" card Luke uses). Otes then activates "Darkness Singularity", Special Summoning "Sevens Road Magician" from his Graveyard and "Darkness Zerorogue" from his hand, both in Defense Position. "Sevens Road Magician" and the massive fiendish "Darkness Zerorogue" both appear, their ATK increasing and their DEF increasing, and Asana grits her teeth angrily, noting Otes' revival of "Sevens Road Magician" again. Otes sends "Darkness Rogue" from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard to activate the effect of "Sevens Road Magician", increasing it to 2800 ATK, and then wields the curse of the eight DARK Spellcasters in his Graveyard (two "Darkness Rogue" and the other six Sevens Road monsters) to activate the effect of "Darkness Zerorogue". "Darkness Zerorogue" glows purple as Otes orders it to destroy those noisy musicians with "Zero Desperation", and it blasts a massive purple column of energy that consumes "Prima Guitarna" and "Heavy Metal", Roa gasping "What?!" in shock as Romin cries her monster's name.

Then the Otes Robot holds up a Spell Card and Luke recognizes it in horror - "Fusion". "Sevens Road Magician" fuses with "Darkness Zerorogue" as Otes chants "The dreams, courage, friendship, providence, rock and pride that light the way! The magician born from darkness will beckon all to despair! Fusion Summon! Magician of Dark Sevens!" A massive skeletal draconian monster appears with the blue-flamed "Sevens Road Magician" at its core, standing with 2800 ATK, and Gavin and Nail gasp in shock at the sight as the monster increases to 3200 ATK. Luke and Yuga gasp that this is Otes' Fusion Monster. Otes explains the Continuous Effect of "Magician of Dark Sevens", increasing its ATK by 300 for each DARK Spellcaster monster in his Graveyard, and with ten ("Sevens Road Magician", "Darkness Zerorogue", "Sevens Road Enchanter", "Sevens Road Sorcerer", "Sevens Road Wiz", "Sevens Road Warlock", "Sevens Road Witch", "Sevens Road Mage", and two copies of "Darkness Rogue") it gains 3000 ATK, powering up to 6200 ATK, a value Roa repeats in shock as Romin gasps that this is bad. Asana calls out to Yuga, and he activates a Trap Card, "Emergency Advent", drawing a card and revealing it. As the Super Rush Robot holds up a holographic copy of "Multistrike Dragon Dragias", Yuga explains that he can Special Summon it in Defense Position if it's a monster. Otes gasps and Luke calls "Here we go Yuga!" as Yuga chants "Right now, in my galaxy, seven supernovas unleash a gamma-ray burst!" Yuga and Luke call "Now, come on out! Multistrike Dragon Dragias!" and "Dragias" appears with 1500 DEF, before folding its wings and crossing its arms. Roa congratulates Yuga and Gavin agrees their LP will be safe with "Dragias" in Defense Position.

Otes admits their resilience but Summons "Darkness Sanga", though as Asana notes in confusion it only has 700 ATK. Otes sends the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to activate the effect of "Darkness Sanga", explaining that it will be able to attack three times if it attacks a monster, and Yuga gasps "What?!" Otes Sets two cards and declares battle, ordering "Darkness Sanga" to attack "Dragias". As "Darkness Sanga" fires red eyebeams from its right head, Luke asks if Otes is planning on dealing damage to himself, but Otes reveals that the Continuous Effect of "Magician of Dark Sevens" also prevents him from taking battle damage from battles involving his other monsters, much to Yuga's horror. Otes attacks "Dragias" with "Magician of Dark Sevens", ordering its "Death End Dark Wall" attack as it blasts seven large energy beams from its wings and tail, consuming "Dragias" in an instant as Luke cries his monster's name. Otes adds that "Sanga" can attack two more times and orders its repeated attacks, Roa gasping in shock over the monster being able to attack twice and Asana crying that this is bad. Yuga activates the Trap Card "Curtain of Sparks", reducing the ATK of "Sanga" by 500, and as it falls to 200 ATK, "Sanga" blasts eyebeams from its other two heads at the Super Rush Robot, reducing Yuga to 600, then 400 LP. Otes comments that Yuga hung on by an inch, and he ends his turn, returning the ATK of "Sanga" to normal.

Yuga declares his turn and draws, five holographic cards appearing in the Super Rush Robot's hand. His hand containing "Fusion", "High Magic - Double Acceleration", "Graceful Charity", "Super Electromagnetic Maximum", and his own "Sevens Road Magician", Yuga activates "Graceful Charity", drawing three cards and sending two to the Graveyard. He's drawn "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord [L]", "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord", and "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord [R]", and he sends "Magnum Overlord [L]" and "Magnum Overlord [R]" to the Graveyard before revealing the Level 10 Machine Type "Magnum Overlord" he kept in his hand to activate "Super Electromagnetic Maximum", adding two Machine Type Maximum Monsters from his Graveyard to his hand. Otes hums in interest as Yuga adds "Magnum Overlord [L]" and "Magnum Overlord [R]" back to his hand, and then he places the three cards down, chanting "Full speed ahead! Maximum Summon! Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord!" As "Magnum Overlord" appears with 3500 MAXIMUM ATK, Otes notes it's no match for his Fusion Monster "Magician of Dark Sevens", which roars to punctuate his point. But Yuga returns "Kuribot" from his Graveyard to his Deck to activate the "Maximum Cannon Shoot" effect of "Magnum Overlord", holding up the Level 7 "Dragias" and Otes grimaces as he's reduced to 400 LP. Then Yuga sends "Hydro Magician" and "Rightful Magic" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to activate the "Multi-Attack Setup" effect of "Magnum Overlord", reducing it to 2500 ATK, and he follows that up by using its "Scramble Overtake" effect, sending "Magnum Overlord" to the Graveyard as it splits back into its three component ships.

He tells "Dragias" to come back as it appears in Attack Position, then calls "Let's do this!" and chants "The walls, the mountains, and even the planets that block my way! Carve open a road through them all and press onward! Let's go!" Yuga, Luke, Romin, Gavin, Roa, Nail and Asana all call "Sevens Road Magician!" as the familiar orange-flamed "Sevens Road Magician" appears, and Gavin states that it's just as he thought; this is the "Sevens Road Magician" that feels right. Asana adds that the "Scramble Overtake" effect has also destroyed Otes' Field Spell as the cosmic landscape vanishes, though even as "Magician of Dark Sevens" falls to 5800 ATK, Otes notes it's barely a scratch. Yuga then sends "Torna the Windweaver" and "Pyro Magician" from the top of his Deck to his Graveyard to activate the effects of both monsters, Luke calling the "Double Doom" effect of "Dragias" and Yuga the "Elemental Road" effect of "Sevens Road Magician". With the LIGHT "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor", "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" and "Prima Guitarna the Shining Superstar", the EARTH "Constructor Wyrm Buildragon", the DARK "Yamiruler the Dark Delayer", the WATER "Hydro Magician", the FIRE "Pyro Magician" and the WIND "Torna the Windweaver" in Yuga's Graveyard, Nail notes there's six Attributes in Yuga's Graveyard and Roa declares that "Sevens Road Magician" will gain 1800 ATK. "Sevens Road Magician" rises to 3900 ATK and then Yuga returns "Torna" and "Pyro Magician" to his Deck to activate "High Magic - Double Acceleration", increasing the ATK of "Sevens Road Magician" by a further 2100. Green energy engulfs "Sevens Road Magician" as it powers up to 6000 ATK, and Gavin, Nail, Asana and Luke declare that the monsters "Magnum Overlord" sent to the Graveyard and their own ace monsters have allowed "Sevens Road Magician" to surpass the 5800 ATK of "Dark Sevens".

But since Yuga just sent a Spell Card to his Graveyard Otes can activate his "Darkness Disorder" Trap Card, and Yuga gasps as Otes explains he can Special Summon a DARK Spellcaster monster from his Graveyard. He revives "Darkness Zerorogue", explaining that all monsters Yuga controls will lose ATK equal to the DEF of "Darkness Zerorogue". "Magician of Dark Sevens" falls to 5300 ATK, but both "Dragias" and "Sevens Road Magician" lose 2100 ATK, falling to 400 and 4900 ATK respectively as purple light surrounds them and Yuga and his friends gasp in shock, while aboard Star Six Yuro gasps "What?!" and Yuran protests this can't be as Yuga Goha swirls angrily. Gavin and Luke grit their teeth and Romin protests they've come so far, but Yuga states he isn't finished yet.

The Super Rush Robot holds up Yuga's purple-tinted "Fusion" and Luke calls "Let's go, Yuga!" and Yuga agrees as they activate "Fusion", fusing "Sevens Road Magician" and "Dragias" together. "Dragias" emerges from the light armored in armor similar to "Sevens Road Magician's" with crests patterning its wing membranes. As "Sevens Road" stands atop it with wilder flames and armor, Yuga chants "The road of SEVENS that presses on to the future!" and Luke chants "The seven supernovas that shine in the galaxy above!" They both chant "This is ours and ours alone - combination technique! Fusion Summon! Magical Knight Type! Sevensgias the Magical Dragon Knight!" "Sevensgias" stands with 3000 ATK, much to the joy of Yuga and Luke's friends, and Romin and Gavin declare that this is Yuga and Luke's Fusion. Yuga sends "Dark Revelation" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard to activate the Multi-Choice Effect of "Sevensgias", "Rush Road Charge", causing "Sevensgias" to glow brightly. It gains 700 ATK for each monster in his Graveyard with a different Type - the Warrior "Yamiruler", Spellcaster "Sevens Road Witch", Fiend "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal", Psychic "Prima Guitarna", Cyberse "Yggdrago", Wyrm "Buildragon", Dragon "Dragias" and Machine "Magnum Overlord" are in Yuga's Graveyard, and Asana declares it's eight Types in all, Nail noting it will gain 700 times 8 ATK and Roa announcing it's a 5600 ATK boost. "Sevensgias" rises to 8600 ATK, Romin repeating the ATK value happily. Yuga adds that it can also attack twice and encourages Luke to attack with him. Declaring his Battle Phase, Yuga orders "Sevensgias" to attack "Dark Sevens". Gavin worries the effect of "Dark Sevens" will prevent the battle damage, but Luke reminds him it doesn't apply to "Dark Sevens" itself. Roa cheers that this is it and the Goha Six watch in anticipation - but then Yuo remembers the SEVENS book, and how it told of the young sorcerer shedding tears as he destroyed the moon.

Yuo retracts his mask and begs Yuga not to attack, but it's too late - Otes activates a Trap Card, "Darkness Fault", changing the attack target to "Darkness Sanga". As "Sevensgias" blasts energy from its sword at "Darkness Sanga", Otes adds that it will also force Yuga's monsters to attack. He takes no battle damage from the attack due to the effect of "Dark Sevens", Yuga's friends grimacing into frustration as "Dark Sevens" rises to 5800 ATK, but then since "Sanga" was destroyed Otes returns "Zerorogue" to the bottom of his Deck to activate another Trap Card, "Darkness Deal", which will force Yuga to take all the battle damage Otes would take this turn. Yuga gasps and Yuka protests that it can't be, Yuo grimly noting this was Otes' plan all along. As the Super Rush Robot crackles with electricity, Otes states that "Sevensgias" still has to attack one more time and the Rush Duel Program is at its limit, declaring this is the end and ordering Yuga to attack "Dark Sevens" to end this all with his own hands. Gritting his teeth, Yuga orders "Sevensgias" to attack, and it blasts energy from its sword again. As the attack approaches, Asana and Roa worry they'll take the damage, Gavin noting Yuga only has 400 LP as tears build in Romin's eyes and she gasps that they're going to lose.

And then an alarm sounds, and the Otes Robot jerks up in shock and flies away, causing "Magician of Dark Sevens" to vanish before the attack of "Sevensgias" can connect. Luke, Romin, Gavin, Roa, Asana, Nail and Yuga can only watch in shock as the Otes Robot vanishes, and aboard it Otes angrily asks his crew what they're doing. Celestia holds up an alarm clock showing that it's 6:66, telling him it's time for work to be over and Otes protests it's not that time yet, but the six girls all float away, Terra telling Otes they don't work overtime and Oceania claiming it's a compliance violation. Otes angrily tells them to leave but leave the Robot behind, and the six of them all emerge in their compressed forms (save Ghostia) as they tell Otes to have a good day. Otes scowls that the girls can't be trusted as usual, but then spots a small ladybug robot emerging from the alarm clock. The President Drone comments that it seems a little lady bugged the clock and Otes mutters that they struggled to the last. Down in the Nanahoshi Insect Ninja Village, Nana, Kabuto and Kirihito stand atop a peak, Nana commenting it's a thank you from her for making a fool out of her.

Kaizo states his suspicions that the Otes Robot is making its way to the far side of the moon, displaying their positions on his screen. Romin asks what's happened with the Duel as electricity crackles around them and Nail notes it was likely suspended when Otes left their communication range. Roa muses it'll resume once Otes returns and Asana sighs in relief over buying some time, though Gavin notes they're in a pretty desperate pinch. Luke asks Yuga what they should do as Yuga types frantically and Yuga sighs in relief, noting everyone would have been in danger soon as an "OK" appears on Kaizo's screen, much to Luke's surprise. Kaizo reactivates, cheerfully greeting everyone, and then he takes the Goha Six's tiaras from them, causing their helmets to seal. Yuga's helmet seals as well and Kaizo thanks them for their cooperation, touching the six tiaras. To everyone's shock, the Super Rush Robot's chest opens and plucks Luke, Romin, Gavin, Roa, Nail and Asana from it, depositing them on Star Six as Yuga tells Yuro he'll leave them in his care. Yuro asks in shock what Yuga plans to do and Yuga explains the Rush Duel Robot doesn't have much time left so he'll be taking it alone from here. Luke asks in horror what Yuga is saying and Romin desperately asks why Yuga is going alone, but Yuga jets away in the Super Rush Robot. Gavin cries "No!" and Asana, Nail and Roa all whisper Yuga's name.

Luke refuses to accept it, leaping off Star Six and into space, much to the horror of his friends, Yuo and Yujin, the latter of whom begs Luke not to do it. As Luke futilely tries to propel himself through space he begs The Lukeman to lend him its power and his call is answered as the President Drone containing The Lukeman emerges from the stars and clads Luke in the costume of The Lukeman, yelling his name twice before flying after the Super Rush Robot.

Aboard the Super Rush Robot, Kaizo has fashioned the Goha Six's tiaras into a single crown and placed it on Yuga's head, giving him control of the Super Rush Robot. But then The Lukeman enters through an access hatch and Yuga admits that Luke surprised him, but his next words are cut off by Luke as The Lukeman helmet vanishes and Luke snaps that Yuga is being selfish. Kaizo yelps that Luke is angry and Yuga agrees, taking off his helmet and the crown and suggesting that they Rush Duel. Luke agrees, telling Yuga he won't let Yuga go alone if he wins, and Yuga tells Luke he'll return to their other friends without Yuga if he wins. Luke steps forwards as Yuga jumps down to the floor. Yuga holds up his Deck and vows to win, and Luke holds up his vowing not to lose. They both call "Rush Duel!" as electricity crackles around them and the Super Rush Robot continues to follow Otes.

Featured Duel: Yuga Ohdo vs OtesEdit

Duel continues from the previous episode.

Yuga has 2300 LP and controls one Set card. Otes has 2500 LP and controls "Sevens Road Magician" (2100/1500 → 2500/0) and "Sevens Road Witch" (1600/1000 → 2000/0) in Attack Position, "Darkness Lode" face-up in his Field Zone, and two Set cards in his Spell & Trap Zones. The effect of "Darkness Lode" increases the ATK of Level 5 or higher DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monsters by 400 and decreases their DEF by 1500.

Turn 4: Yuga
Yuga draws "Perfect Sevens", "Curtain of Sparks", "Spot Moonlight", "Shimmering Friendship", and "Kuribot". Yuga Normal Summons "Kuribot" (300/200). As Yuga controls no other monsters, he activates the effect of "Kuribot", paying 500 LP (Yuga: 2300 → 1800 LP) to add another copy of "Kuribot" from his Graveyard to his hand. Yuga Normal Summons "Kuribot" (300/200). Yuga Tributes the "Kuribot" he just Summoned to Tribute Summon "Shimmering Friendship" (1300/1100). Yuga activates the effect of "Shimmering Friendship", sending the top two cards of his Deck to the Graveyard, and if he sends two Level 7 or higher monsters with different Types to the Graveyard, he can add two monsters from his Graveyard to his hand. He sends the Level 7 Psychic Type "Prima Guitarna the Shining Superstar" and the Level 8 Fiend Type "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, so he adds "Prima Guitarna" and "Heavy Metal" from his Graveyard to his hand. Yuga Tributes "Shimmering Friendship" and "Kuribot" to Tribute Summon "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" (2500/0). As Yuga Normal or Special Summoned a Level 7 or higher monster while Otes controls a DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monster, he activates his Set Trap Card "Darkness Restraint", changing all Attack Position monsters Yuga controls to face-down Defense Position. "Heavy Metal" is changed to face-down Defense Position. Yuga activates the Spell Card "Spot Moonlight", changing a face-down Defense Position monster he controls to Attack Position, then if that monster is Level 7 or higher he can Special Summon a monster with a different Type from his hand. He changes the Level 8 Fiend Type "Heavy Metal" from face-down Defense Position to Attack Position (2500/0) and then Special Summons the Psychic Type "Prima Guitarna the Shining Superstar" (2200/0) from his hand. Yuga activates the effect of "Prima Guitarna", paying 1000 LP (Yuga: 1800 → 800 LP) to increase the ATK of all face-up monsters he controls by 300 for each monster Otes controls until the end of the turn ("Prima Guitarna": 2200/0 → 2800/0; "Heavy Metal": 2500/0 → 3100/0). Yuga Sets two cards. "Heavy Metal" attacks and destroys "Sevens Road Witch" (Otes: 2500 → 1400 LP). "Prima Guitarna" attacks and destroys "Sevens Road Magician" (Otes: 1400 → 1100 LP).

Turn 5: Otes
Otes draws "Darkness Greed", "Darkness Sanga", "Darkness Singularity", "Darkness Disorder", and "Darkness Fault". As Yuga controls a Level 7 or higher monster and all the monsters in Otes' Graveyard are DARK Spellcaster Type monsters, he activates the Spell Card "Darkness Greed", drawing a card, then if he has four or more DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monsters in his Graveyard, he can draw an additional card. Otes draws "an unknown card and is shown to have the DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type "Sevens Road Magician", "Sevens Road Enchanter", "Sevens Road Sorcerer", "Sevens Road Wiz", "Sevens Road Warlock", "Sevens Road Witch", and "Sevens Road Mage" in his Graveyard, so he also draws "Fusion".[Note 1] Otes activates the Spell Card "Darkness Singularity", Special Summoning a DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monster from his hand and a DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monster from his Graveyard with the same Level in face-up Defense Position. He Special Summons the Level 7 "Darkness Zerorogue" (1500/2100 → 1900/600) from his hand and the Level 7 "Sevens Road Magician" (2100/1500 → 2500/0) from his Graveyard. Otes activates the effect of "Sevens Road Magician", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 300 for each monster with a different Attribute in his Graveyard until the end of the turn. He sends "Darkness Rogue" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, so there is currently one Attribute in his Graveyard, DARK ("Sevens Road Magician": 2500/0 → 2800/0). As "Darkness Zerorogue" was Special Summoned this turn and Otes has eight or more DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monsters in his Graveyard, he activates its effect, destroying all face-up Level 8 or lower monsters Yuga controls. Otes has two copies of "Darkness Rogue", "Sevens Road Enchanter", "Sevens Road Sorcerer", "Sevens Road Wiz", "Sevens Road Mage", "Sevens Road Witch", and "Sevens Road Warlock" in his Graveyard, so he destroys the Level 7 "Prima Guitarna" and Level 8 "Heavy Metal". Otes activates the Spell Card "Fusion", Fusion Summoning a monster from his Extra Deck using face-up monsters he controls as materials. He fuses "Sevens Road Magician" and "Darkness Zerorogue" to Fusion Summon "Magician of Dark Sevens" (2800/2600 → 3200/1100) in Attack Position.

The effect of "Magician of Dark Sevens" increases its ATK by 300 for each DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monster in Otes' Graveyard and prevents Otes from taking battle damage from battles involving other monsters he controls. Otes has ten DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monsters in his Graveyard ("Sevens Road Magician", "Darkness Zerorogue", "Sevens Road Enchanter", "Sevens Road Sorcerer", "Sevens Road Wiz", "Sevens Road Warlock", "Sevens Road Witch", "Sevens Road Mage", and two copies of "Darkness Rogue"; "Magician of Dark Sevens": 3200/1100 → 6200/1100). As Otes Normal or Special Summoned a monster while Yuga controls no monsters, Yuga activates his Set Trap Card "Emergency Advent", drawing a card and revealing it, and if that card is a monster, he can Special Summon it. He draws and reveals "Multistrike Dragon Dragias", then Special Summons "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" (2500/1500) in face-up Defense Position. Otes Normal Summons "Darkness Sanga" (700/0). Otes activates the effect of "Darkness Sanga", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to allow "Darkness Sanga" to make three attacks during this Battle Phase if it attacks a monster. He sends an unknown card from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. Otes Sets two cards. "Darkness Sanga" attacks "Dragias". The attack fails, but due to the effect of "Magician of Dark Sevens", Otes takes no battle damage. "Magician of Dark Sevens" attacks and destroys "Dragias". "Darkness Sanga" attacks Yuga directly, but as Otes declared an attack while Yuga has a Spellcaster Type monster in his Graveyard, he activates his Set Trap Card "Curtain of Sparks", decreasing the ATK of the attacking monster by 500 until the end of the turn ("Darkness Sanga": 700/0 → 200/0). The attack continues (Yuga: 800 → 600 LP). "Darkness Sanga" attacks Yuga directly (Yuga: 600 → 400 LP).

Turn 6: Yuga
Yuga draws "Fusion", "High Magic - Double Acceleration", "Graceful Charity", "Super Electromagnetic Maximum", and "Sevens Road Magician". Yuga activates the Spell Card "Graceful Charity", drawing three cards, then sending two cards from his hand to the Graveyard. He draws "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord [L]", "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord", and "Supreme Skystream Magnum Overlord [R]", then sends "Magnum Overlord [L]" and "Magnum Overlord [R]" from his hand to the Graveyard. Yuga activates the Spell Card "Super Electromagnetic Maximum", revealing a Level 10 monster in his hand to add up to two Machine Type Maximum Monsters from his Graveyard to his hand, but he cannot Normal Summon/Set monsters for the rest of the turn. He reveals "Magnum Overlord" and adds "Magnum Overlord [L]" and "Magnum Overlord [R]" from his Graveyard to his hand. Yuga Maximum Summons "Magnum Overlord", "Magnum Overlord [L]", and "Magnum Overlord [R]", entering Maximum Mode (3500 MAXIMUM ATK). As "Magnum Overlord" is in Maximum Mode, Yuga activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord [L]", shuffling a monster from his Graveyard into his Deck to choose a monster in his Graveyard and inflict damage to Otes equal to that monster's Level x 100, then add that monster to his hand. He shuffles "Kuribot" from his Graveyard into his Deck, then adds the Level 7 "Dragias" from his Graveyard to his hand (Otes: 1100 → 400 LP). As "Magnum Overlord" is in Maximum Mode, Yuga activates the effect of "Magnum Overlord [R]", sending the top two cards of his Deck to the Graveyard to have "Magnum Overlord" lose 1000 ATK until the end of the turn, also for the rest of the turn "Magnum Overlord" cannot attack directly, it can attack all monsters Otes controls once each, and it inflicts piercing battle damage. He sends "Hydro Magician" and "Rightful Magic" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard ("Magnum Overlord": 3500 → 2500 MAXIMUM ATK). As "Magnum Overlord" is in Maximum Mode, Yuga activates its effect, sending it to the Graveyard to Special Summon up to two monsters from his hand, then he can destroy a Spell/Trap Otes controls. He Special Summons "Sevens Road Magician" (2100/1500 → 2500/0) and "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" (2500/1500) from his hand in Attack Position, then destroys "Darkness Lode" ("Sevens Road Magician": 2500/0 → 2100/1500, "Magician of Dark Sevens": 6200/1100 → 5800/2600).

Yuga activates the effect of "Dragias", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to allow "Dragias" to declare a second attack this turn if it destroys a monster Otes controls by battle. He sends "Torna the Windweaver" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. Yuga activates the effect of "Sevens Road Magician", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to increase its ATK by 300 for each monster with a different Attribute in his Graveyard until the end of the turn. He sends "Pyro Magician" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard, so he has six different Attributes in his Graveyard (Yuga is shown to have the LIGHT "Yggdrago the Sky Emperor", "Royal Rebel's Heavy Metal" and "Prima Guitarna the Shining Superstar", the EARTH "Constructor Wyrm Buildragon", the DARK "Yamiruler the Dark Delayer", the WATER "Hydro Magician", the FIRE "Pyro Magician" and the WIND "Torna the Windweaver" in his Graveyard; "Sevens Road Magician": 2100/1500 → 3900/1500).[Note 2] Yuga activates the Spell Card "High Magic - Double Acceleration", shuffling two Level 5 Spellcaster Type monsters from his Graveyard into his Deck to increase the ATK of a Spellcaster Type monster he controls by its original ATK until the end of the turn. He shuffles "Pyro Magician" and "Torna the Windweaver" from his Graveyard into his Deck and chooses "Sevens Road Magician" ("Sevens Road Magician": 3900/1500 → 6000/1500). As a Spell Card was sent to Yuga's Graveyard, Otes activates his Set Trap Card "Darkness Disorder", Special Summoning a DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monster from his Graveyard, then reducing the ATK of all face-up monsters Yuga controls equal to the original DEF of the Special Summoned monster. He Special Summons "Darkness Zerorogue" (1500/2100) from his Graveyard in Attack Position ("Sevens Road Magician": 6000/1500 → 3900/1500; "Dragias": 2500/1500 → 400/1500; "Magician of Dark Sevens": 5800/2600 → 5500/2600). Yuga activates the Spell Card "Fusion", fusing "Sevens Road Magician" and "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" to Fusion Summon "Sevensgias the Magical Dragon Knight" (3000/2500) in Attack Position.

As Otes controls a Level 7 or higher monster, Yuga activates the effect of "Sevensgias", sending the top card of his Deck to the Graveyard to either increase the ATK of "Sevensgias" by 700 for each monster with a different Type in his Graveyard and allow it to attack monsters twice this turn, or destroy all face-up cards on the field. He sends "Dark Revelation" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard and chooses to have "Sevensgias" gain 700 ATK for each monster with a different Type in his Graveyard and allow it to attack monsters twice this turn, and has eight different Types in his Graveyard (Spellcaster, Machine, Dragon, Psychic, Warrior, Fiend, Cyberse, and Wyrm; "Sevensgias": 3000/2500 → 8600/2500).[Note 3] "Sevensgias" attacks "Magician of Dark Sevens", but as a DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monster Otes controls was targeted for an attack, he activates his Set Trap Card "Darkness Fault", forcing all monsters Yuga controls to attack this turn and allowing Otes to choose the attack targets for attacks this turn. Otes chooses "Darkness Sanga" as the attack target. The attack continues and "Darkness Sanga" is destroyed, but Otes takes no battle damage due to the effect of "Magician of Dark Sevens" ("Magician of Dark Sevens": 5500/2600 → 5800/2600). As a DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monster Otes controls was destroyed by battle, he activates his Set Trap Card "Darkness Deal", placing a DARK Attribute Spellcaster Type monster he controls on the bottom of his Deck, also for the rest of this turn Yuga takes any battle damage Otes would take from battles involving two monsters. He places "Darkness Zerorogue" from his field on the bottom of his Deck. "Sevensgias" attacks "Magician of Dark Sevens".

Duel continues in the next episode.

Featured cardsEdit

The following cards appeared in this episode. Cards in italics debuted here.

MistakesEdit

  • When Yuga declares the sixth turn, he is shown to have four cards in his hand despite having none, and draws five cards as he should.

NotesEdit

  1. The drawn cards are not shown, but are later confirmed to be "Darkness Zerorogue" and "Fusion", though the order Otes drew them in is not confirmed, as he is depicted as drawing them at the same time.
  2. Yuga is depicted as activating the effects of "Sevens Road Magician" and "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" at the same time, sending "Torna the Windweaver" and "Pyro Magician" to the Graveyard in one action, with "Pyro Magician" being the second card sent. As Yuga had no WIND or FIRE monsters in his Graveyard before activating either effect and "Sevens Road Magician" gains the full 1800 ATK from its effect, Yuga must have activated the effect of "Dragias" first, assuming the order of the cards in his hand did not change offscreen. Luke announcing the effect name of "Dragias" before Yuga declaring the effect name of "Sevens Road Magician" also supports this.
  3. Yuga is portrayed here as having "Sevens Road Witch" in his Graveyard, but between this episode and the previous episode he had no opportunity to send it there.
