Waking the Dragons
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 157: "Fate of the Pharaoh - Part 2", Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael. He Special Summons this card by fusing "Eye of Timaeus" with "Dark Magician Girl". This card then attacks "Guardian Grarl". Yami Yugi then activates this card's effect to destroy "Guardian Grarl" at the start of the Damage Step without applying damage calculation by discarding one card from his hand. Rafael then activates "Self Tribute" to prevent "Grarl" from being destroyed by this card's effect. On Yami Yugi's next turn, this card attacks "Grarl", but Rafael activates "Crystal Seal" to prevent this card from attacking as well as prevent it from defending Yami Yugi's Life Points. Yami Yugi eventually plays "The Seal of Orichalcos" against Yugi's better judgment. In the next episode, Yami Yugi's move frees this card from "Crystal Seal" and gives it 500 more ATK (due to the effect of "The Seal of Orichalcos"), but it also causes this card to be destroyed due to "The Seal" being played and also due to Timaeus abandoning Yami Yugi for playing "The Seal of Orichalcos". "Dark Magician Girl" was then summoned in this card's place.
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 164: "Reliving the Past", Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against an Orichalcos Soldier. He Special Summons this card by fusing "Eye of Timaeus" with "Dark Magician Girl". Yami Yugi then equips this card with "Excalibur", which doubles this card's ATK. This card then attacks and destroys "Orichalcos Gigas" (whose ATK was 2900 due to its own effect and "The Seal of Orichalcos"), winning Yami Yugi the duel.
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 176: "Grappling with a Guardian - Part 3", Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael. He Special Summons this card by fusing "Eye of Timaeus" with "Dark Magician Girl". This card then attacks "Guardian Dreadscythe". Yami Yugi then activates this card's effect to destroy "Guardian Dreadscythe" at the start of the Damage Step without applying damage calculation by discarding one card. Rafael then uses the effect of "Dreadscythe" to prevent its destruction by discarding one card. Rafael then discards "Monster Reborn" in order to activate "Orichalcos Sword of Sealing", equipping the latter card onto this card and negating its effects. "Guardian Dreadscythe" then attacks and destroys this card, but Yami activates "Reduction Barrier" to reduce the Battle Damage by 10%, allowing him to survive the attack with only 10 Life Points remaining.
