SummaryEdit

Tatsuhisa Kamijo, known as "Luke" by his friends and as the "King of Duels" by himself, runs through the halls of Goha 7th Elementary, aiming for the school store. Upon arriving, he finds what he seeks - two "Sevens Burgers", the school's specialty food, and also the last two in stock. He reaches for them, but someone else's hand reaches them first. Luke turns, only to find his so-called friend Yuga Ohdo encroaching on his prize. He demands that Yuga challenge him properly for the Sevens Burgers, and the two prepare to Duel... in rock-paper-scissors. Luke is summarily defeated by Yuga's latest Road - a rock-paper-scissors robot designed to confuse his opponent.

At that moment, they are approached by Romin Kirishima and Gakuto Sogetsu, wondering what all the commotion is about. Yuga explains the trick behind his newest creation and how it's won him his burgers, but, realizing that he'd been tricked, Luke declares the result invalid, and tells Yuga that he meant a proper challenge - a Rush Duel! As the student council president, Gakuto warns them that if they go even a single second past their lunch break, there will be consequences. But Yuga declares that with the Rush Duels he created, this will be over in no time at all.

The Duel begins, and Luke immediately Tribute Summons a powerful monster, before Setting three cards to empty his hand. However, rather than be pleased, he decries his moves as being unfair, to everyone's confusion. Yuga begins his turn and immediately Summons his ace monster - "Sevens Road Magician". Increasing his monster's ATK to 4000 with his cards and effects, he clears away Luke's monster and almost half his LP in a single attack. Luke, again, declares this to be unfair. When Luke's turn begins, the rules of Rush Duels allow him to draw until his hand has 5 cards again, which he again declares unfair.

Swiftly and surely, he Summons three monsters (berating himself for how pleasing the move felt), and Summons his own ace monster - "Multistrike Dragon Dragias" and activates its effect. Luke destroys Yuga's "Sevens Road Magician", then, since it destroyed a monster by battle, attacks Yuga directly with his monster, thanks to its effect. Yuga's LP fall, and Luke stands over Yuga, triumphantly declaring his victory over the creator of the Duel he just played. Romin, however, points out that Yuga's LP haven't actually reached 0 yet. Luke pauses to consider this, then politely asks his last remaining monster "Dragon's Sage" to do the honors.

Luke celebrates his victory and claiming of the Sevens Burgers while Yuga looks on. But just as suddenly, Luke tosses one of the burgers to Yuga, as he had been planning on doing all along. Gakuto and Romin express amazement that Luke has such a kind side after all. Luke, however, silently ponders about how unfair Yuga is - because he managed to invent this amazing Rush Duel by himself.
