The Duel is conducted as a Speed Duel.

Turn 1: The Gore
Gore's hand contains "Gouki Suprex", two copies of "Gouki Twistcobra", and an unknown card. Gore Normal Summons "Gouki Suprex" (1800/0). As "Suprex" was Normal Summoned, Gore activates its effect, Special Summoning a "Gouki" monster from his hand. He Special Summons "Gouki Twistcobra" (1600/0) in Attack Position.

Turn 2: Playmaker
Playmaker Sets a card. As Playmaker controls no monsters, he Special Summons "Linkslayer" (2000/600) from his hand by its own effect. He Special Summons it in Attack Position. Playmaker Normal Summons "Cyberse Wizard" (1800/800). Playmaker activates the effect of "Cyberse Wizard", targeting Gore's Attack Position monster and changing it to Defense Position, then for the rest of this turn, Playmaker's monsters cannot attack, except to attack that monster, and if his Cyberse monster attacks a Defense Position monster, it inflicts piercing battle damage to Gore. He targets "Suprex". "Linkslayer" attacks and destroys "Suprex" (Gore: 4000 → 2000 LP). As "Suprex" was sent from the field to the GY, Gore activates its effect, adding a different "Gouki" card from his Deck to his hand. He adds "Gouki Riscorpio". Gore activates his Skill "Pain and Gain", Special Summoning all "Gouki" monsters that were destroyed by battle this turn. He Special Summons "Suprex" (1800/0).

Turn 3: The Gore
As all monsters he controls are "Gouki" monsters, Gore Normal Summons "Gouki Riscorpio" (2300/0) without Tributing by its own effect. Gore sets "Suprex", "Twistcobra", and "Riscorpio" in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Gouki The Great Ogre" (2600/↙↓↘) to the Extra Monster Zone. As "Twistcobra", "Riscorpio", and "Suprex" were sent from the field to the GY, Gore activates their effects, adding a different "Gouki" card from his Deck to his hand. He adds "Riscorpio", "Gouki Re-Match", and "Gouki Headbatt". The effect of "Great Ogre" decreases the ATK of all monsters on the field equal to their original DEF ("Cyberse Wizard": 1800 → 1000 ATK, "Linkslayer": 2000 → 1400 ATK). Gore activates the Spell "Gouki Re-Match", targeting two "Gouki" monsters with different Levels in his GY and Special Summoning them in Defense Position. He targets and Special Summons the Level 5 "Riscorpio" and the Level 3 "Twistcobra", with "Twistcobra" Special Summoned to the zone the bottom-left Link Arrow of "Great Ogre" points to. Gore activates the effect of "Twistcobra", Tributing a "Gouki" monster to increase the ATK of a "Gouki" monster he controls equal to the original ATK of the Tributed monster until the end of this turn. He Tributes "Riscorpio" and targets "Great Ogre" ("Great Ogre": 2600 → 4900 ATK). Gore activates the effect of "Gouki Headbatt" in his hand, sending one other "Gouki" monster from his hand to the GY, then targeting a "Gouki" monster he controls to Special Summon "Headbatt" in Defense Position, then the targeted monster gains 800 ATK until the end of this turn. He sends "Twistcobra", targets "Great Ogre", and Special Summons "Headbatt" (800/0) to the zone the bottom-center Link Arrow of "Great Ogre" points to ("Great Ogre": 4900 → 5700 ATK).

Duel continues in the next episode.

Errors

  • In the dub, when Gore explains the effect of "Twistcobra", he mistakenly states that "Riscorpio" has 1300 ATK rather than 2300.
