"Playmaker Returns" is the forty-seventh episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS anime. It first aired in Japan on April 11, 2018.
Peace has returned thanks to Playmaker's efforts. However, LINK VRAINS still suffered heavy damage due to Hanoi's plan. Thus, SOL Technologies rebuilds it into NEW LINK VRAINS. The newly rebuilt Dueling platform has brought a lot of excitement to many. However, in NEW LINK VRAINS, Playmaker is a wanted man, and has a bounty on his head...

Playmaker Normal Summons "Cyberse Wizard" (1800/800). Playmaker uses "Defcon Bird" and "Cyberse Wizard" to Link Summon "Elphase" (2000/↑→) to the zone the bottom-center Link Arrow of "Linkuriboh" points to. "Elphase" gains 300 ATK for each monster it points to ("Elphase": 2000 → 2300 ATK). "Linkuriboh" and "Elphase" attack Unknown directly (Unknown: 4000 → 3700 → 1400 LP).
