Anime[edit]

  • This card is used by heralds of the Barian World (and their pawns) in order to brainwash people and use it during the Duel.
  • Early episodes of the arc feature this card's lore as specifically summoning "CXyz" (「CX」) monsters. Starting with episode 83, its lore was changed to summon "Chaos" (「C」) monsters, allowing for the summoning of "Number C" monsters as well.
  • In episode 74, Girag uses this card to brainwash Fender and his gang of thugs as part of his plan to obtain Yuma Tsukumo's "Numbers". Later Fender uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. He uses this card to Rank-Up "Mechquipped Angineer" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Xyz Mechquipped Djinn Angeneral". This card then detaches the Overlay Units of "Number 39: Utopia", attaches them to "Mechquipped Djinn Angeneral", and decreases the ATK of "Utopia" by 600 (300 for each Overlay Unit it lost). This card then granted "Mechquipped Djinn Angeneral" the ability to negate destruction by battle effects. In the next episode, this card returns to Girag after Fender is defeated by Yuma and knocked out by Orbital 7.
  • In episode 76, Girag uses this card to brainwash Devon Knox after he enters the boys locker room and claims he wants Devon to sign his autograph to him. Later Devon uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. He uses this card to Rank-Up "Coach King Giantrainer" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Xyz Coach Lord Ultimatrainer". This card then detaches the Overlay Units of "Number 34: Terror-Byte", attaches them to "Coach Lord Ultimatrainer", and decreases the ATK of "Terror-Byte" by 900 (300 for each Overlay Unit it lost). This card then granted "Coach Lord Ultimatrainer" the ability to negate destruction by battle effects. After Yuma wins the Duel, this card disappears from Devon's Deck and returns to Girag off-screen.
  • In episode 77, Carlyle Chesterton, the Student Council President, shows this card when he tells Girag (who had brainwashed him off-screen) that he will make sure to use the Spell Card he gave him to crush Yuma. Later Carlyle uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. He uses this card to Rank-Up "Norito the Moral Leader" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Xyz Simon the Great Moral Leader". After Yuma wins the Duel, this card disappears from Carlyle's Deck and returns to Girag off-screen. Later, Girag uses this card to brainwash Art Stanley after he found the Comic Book Appreciation Club and pictures that resembled him.
  • In episode 78, Art uses this card during his Duel against Shark. After "Comics Hero King Arthur" attacked "Number 32: Shark Drake" and failed to destroyed it due to the first effect of "Shark Drake", Art activates this card via the second effect of "Miracle Sword" to Rank-Up "Comics Hero King Arthur" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Xyz Comics Hero Legend Arthur". This card then detaches the Overlay Units of "Shark Drake", attaches them to "Comics Hero Legend Arthur", and decreases the ATK of "Shark Drake" by 900 (300 for each Overlay Unit it lost). This card then granted "Comics Hero Legend Arthur" the ability to negate destruction by battle effects. After Shark wins the Duel, this card disappears from Art's Deck and returns to Girag off-screen.
  • In episode 79, Lotus Hanazoe uses this card during her Duel against Rio Kastle. She uses this card to Rank-Up "Battlecruiser Dianthus" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Xyz Battleship Cherry Blossom". After Rio wins, this card disappears from Lotus's Deck and returns to Girag off-screen.
  • In episode 81, Girag uses this card to brainwash Tori Meadows and Cathy Katherine as part of his plan to obtain Yuma and Shark's "Numbers" through the Friendship Games, however he didn't count on Shark leaving before the final match and him being forced to Duel in Shark's place. Later Tori uses this card during her Tag Team Duel with Cathy against Yuma and Girag. Girag attempted to force Tori to add this card from her Deck to her hand via "Spell Search" and then activate the effect of "Magic Hand" to destroy the Spell Card Tori just added to her hand, however Girag, by Yuma's suggestion, activates "Memory Loss" to negate the effect of "Magic Hand" and switch it to Defense Position (as Girag thought it would help him win the Duel). After Tori Xyz Summons "Fairy Cheer Girl", she uses this card to Rank-Up "Fairy Cheer Girl" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Xyz Dark Fairy Cheer Girl". After Yuma and Girag win, this card disappears from Tori's Deck and returns to Girag off-screen.
    • This card also appears in Girag's mind when he realizes that he and Astral will both be killed if Tori and Cathy manage to use this card.
  • In episode 83, Mizar uses this card during his Duel against Kite Tenjo. He uses this card to Rank-Up "Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon".
  • In episode 85, Girag uses this card to brainwash a large number of students in order to defeat Yuma and Astral and obtain their "Numbers" as he couldn't risk Alito losing to them and felt this was the only way. Later after Yuma gets restrained and cornered by the brainwashed students, Girag reveals this card to Yuma to show Yuma that he is a Barian from Barian World. Through this card, Girag orders the brainwashed students to attack Yuma, but this was thwarted by Alito, who wanted to defeat Yuma through his own way despite Girag's protests.
  • In episode 86, Alito uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. He uses this card to Rank-Up "Number 105: Battlin' Boxer Star Cestus" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 105: Battlin' Boxer Comet Cestus".
  • In episode 88, Girag uses this card during his Battle Royal Duel against Yuma and Ray Shadows. He uses this card to Rank-Up "Number 106: Giant Hand" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 106: Giant Red Hand".
  • In episode 92, Vector uses this card to brainwash Brooke Walker and gives it to her while also telling her to use her strength for his benefit on knocking around Yuma for the upcoming Duel. Note: When this episode was released, the lore of this card was slightly changed; see the Lores page for more information.
  • In episode 93, Brooke uses this card during her Tag-Team Duel with Mayday Walker against Anna Kaboom and Yuma. She uses this card to Rank-Up "Sky Gangaridai" (which Mayday gave control to Brooke via "Xyz Move") via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Xyz Skypalace Babylon". This card disappears from Brooke's deck after Yuma and Anna win the Duel.
    • Unlike previous instances (where the brainwashed person did not remember anything when they were brainwashed), Brooke remembered what happened when she was brainwashed by this card (in the dub, she didn't remember).
  • In episode 97, Mizar uses this card during his Duel against Kite. After Kite Xyz Summons "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", Mizar activates "Neutrino Dowsing" to send this card from his Deck to the Graveyard in order to activate this card's effect, Ranking-Up "Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon".
  • In episode 98, Vector uses this card during his against Yuma. He uses this card to Rank-Up "Number 104: Masquerade" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 104: Umbral Horror Masquerade". This card then detaches the Overlay Unit of "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray V", attaches it to "Umbral Horror Masquerade", and decreases the ATK of "Utopia Ray V" by 300. Vector then activates the second effect of "Umbral Horror Masquerade" to destroy "DZW - Chimera Clad".
  • In episode 101, Vector gives this card to Number 96 as proof of his loyalty to him and that he can help Number 96 find a new "Number".
  • In episode 102, Number 96 uses this card during his Duel against Astral. He uses this card to Rank-Up "Number 65: Djinn Buster" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 65: King Overfiend". Later, "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray" attacks "Number 96: Dark Mist", but Number 96 activates "Chaos Return" to activate this card's effect from the Graveyard, Ranking Up "Dark Mist" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 96: Dark Storm".
  • In episode 103, Alito uses this card to brainwash Nistro after he throws "Number 54: Lion Heart" to Nistro.
  • In episode 104, Nistro draws this card during his Tag-Team Duel with Alito against Yuma and Dextra. Alito notices this and decides that getting Nistro to use this card won't be necessary right now. Later "Heroic Champion - Excalibur" (whose ATK was 4100 via its own effect and "Soul Strike") attacks "Number 54: Lion Heart" (whose ATK was 2600 via "Stoic Challenge" and "Battler's Cry"), but Alito activates the effect of "Battlin' Boxer Cheat Commissioner" to end the Battle Phase and activate this card from Nistro's hand (intending to use this card to Rank-Up "Lion Heart" into a "Chaos Number" monster). Yuma then activates "Overlay Marker" to negate the effect of "Cheat Commissioner" and destroy it as well as inflict damage to Alito equal to the total ATK of the battling monsters, defeating him. Alito's loss frees Nistro from his control (and subsequently removes this card from Nistro's Deck) and thus the Duel ends automatically.
  • In episode 110, Number 96 uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. He uses this card to Rank-Up "Number 96: Dark Mist" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 96: Dark Storm".
  • In episode 130, Alito uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. He uses this card to Rank-Up "Number 80: Rhapsody in Berserk" via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon "Chaos Number 80: Requiem in Berserk". This card then detaches the Overlay Units of "Number 54: Lion Heart", attaches them to "Requiem in Berserk", and decreases the ATK of "Lion Heart" by 600 (300 for each Overlay Unit it lost). This card then granted "Requiem in Berserk" the ability to negate destruction by battle effects.
