Playmaker has made up his mind to fight against Ai, who is currently targeting Akira. However, it was just an Ai copy made to buy time. His allies also encounter other copies and fight against them, and in the midst The Shepherd and Ghost Gal encounter Roboppi, who was looking for someone to fight, and they begin a Tag Duel.

Featured DuelsEdit

Ai's Copies vs Playmaker, Soulburner and VarisEdit

The Duel is conducted as a Speed Duel.
Ai takes part in three separate Duels; however, he conducts the exact same moves in all three Duels.

Turn 1: Ai
Ai activates the Field Spell "Ignister A.I.Land". Ai activates the effect of "A.I.Land" as he controls no monsters in his Main Monster Zones, Special Summoning 1 Level 4 or lower "@Ignister" monster from his hand, but he cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Cyberse monsters (even if "A.I.Land" leaves the field). Ai Special Summons "Achichi @Ignister" (800/800) in Attack Position. Ai sets "Achichi" (1 Level 4 or lower Cyberse monster) in the Link Arrow to Link Summon "Linguriboh" (300/↙) to the Extra Monster Zone. As he controls no monsters in his Main Monster Zones, Ai activates the effect of "A.I.Land" again to Special Summon "Doyon @Ignister" (400/1600) from his hand in Attack Position. As it was Normal or Special Summoned, Ai activates the effect of "Doyon", adding 1 "@Ignister" monster from his GY to his hand. He adds "Achichi" from his GY to his hand. Ai Normal Summons "Achichi". Ai sets "Linguriboh", "Doyon", and "Achichi" (2+ Cyberse monsters, including a FIRE monster) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Fire Phoenix @Ignister" (2300/←↓→) to the Extra Monster Zone. As he controls a FIRE Link Monster, Ai activates the Continuous Spell "A.I. A.I. Wall", targeting "Fire Phoenix", and placing counters on "A.I. A.I. Wall" equal to the targeted monster's Link Rating (Counters: 0 → 3). While there are counters on "A.I. A.I. Wall", Ai's opponent cannot target "A.I. A.I. Wall" with card effects, it cannot be destroyed by his opponent's card effects, and neither player can declare attacks. Also, once per turn, if Ai's opponent Link Summons, "A.I. A.I. Wall" gains a counter. However, once per turn, during the End Phase, "A.I. A.I. Wall" loses a counter.

Duel continues in episode 108.

Roboppi vs The Shepherd & Ghost GalEdit

The Duel is conducted as a Speed Duel.
The Duel is also conducted as a Tag-Team Duel, with The Shepherd and Ghost Gal teaming up against Roboppi, and they share the same field, GY and LP.

Turn 1: The Shepherd
Shepherd Normal Summons "Duplicate Drone" (0/0). As he controls "Duplicate Drone", Shepherd Special Summons a second "Duplicate Drone" from his hand in Defense Position via its own effect. As he controls a "Drone" monster, he Special Summons "Scud Drone" (800/1100) from his hand in Defense Position via its own effect. Shepherd sets "Scud Drone" (a "Drone" monster) in the Link Arrow to Link Summon "Battledrone Sergeant" (800/↓) to the Extra Monster Zone. Shepherd sets the two copies of "Duplicate Drone" (2 "Drone" monsters, except Tokens) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Battledrone Warrant" (1200/←↓) to the Main Monster Zone "Sergeant" points to. Shepherd sets "Sergeant" and the Link-2 "Warrant" (2+ "Drone" monsters) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Battledrone General" (2400/←↓→) to the Extra Monster Zone. Shepherd Sets a card. During his End Phase, Shepherd activates the effect of "Warrant" in his GY, Special Summoning "Warrant" from his GY, as he controls no monsters in his Main Monster Zones.

Turn 2: Roboppi
Roboppi Normal Summons "Appliancer Socketroll" (100/100). As they control a "Socketroll", Roboppi Special Summons a second copy of "Socketroll" from their hand in Defense Position via its own effect. As another "Socketroll" was Special Summoned, Roboppi activates the effect of the first "Socketroll", Special Summoning a third copy of "Socketroll" from their Deck in Defense Position. Roboppi sets two copies of "Socketroll" (2 Level 1 "Appliancer" monsters) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Appliancer Celtopus" (0/↙↓) to the Extra Monster Zone. Roboppi sets "Socketroll" (1 level 1 "Appliancer" monster) in the Link Arrow to Link Summon "Appliancer Vacculephant" (1000/↗) to the Main Monster Zone the bottom-left Link Arrow of "Celtopus" points to. As "Celtopus" is linked, Roboppi's opponent cannot target "Celtopus" for attacks or with card effects. As it is co-linked, Roboppi activates the effect of "Vacculephant", target 1 monster in their opponent's Main Monster Zone and destroying it. They target "Warrant", but Shepherd activates his Set Continuous Trap "Camouflage Drone". While it is face-up, "Drone" monsters he controls cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects, also his opponent cannot target them with card effects. Roboppi activates the Spell "Appliancer Reuse", allowing them to target 1 Level 4 or lower "Appliancer" monster in their GY and Special Summon it, but if it leaves the field, it will be shuffled into their Deck. They target and Special Summon "Socketroll". Roboppi sets "Socketroll" (1 Level 1 "Appliancer" monster) in the Link Arrow to Link Summon "Appliancer Propelion" (1200/↑) to the Main Monster Zone the bottom Link Arrow of "Celtopus" points to. Roboppi Sets a card.

"Vacculephant" attacks "Warrant". Roboppi activates the effect of "Celtopus", as a Link Monster co-linked to "Celtopus" is battling, and all monsters Roboppi controls are "Appliancer" monsters, Roboppi's battling monster gains 1000 ATK for every monster co-linked to "Celtopus" during damage calculation only. There are currently 2 ("Vacculephant": 1000 → 3000 ATK). Shepherd activates his Skill "Drone Force", choosing one monster his opponent controls and 1 "Drone" Link Monster he controls, then until the end of this turn, the first monster loses ATK equal to the number of "Drone" monsters currently in Shepherd's GY, then the second monster gains ATK equal to the ATK that the first monster lost. He chooses the "Vacculephant" Roboppi controls and the "Warrant" he controls, and there are currently 4 "Drone" monsters in Shepherd's GY ("Vacculephant": 3000 → 2200 ATK) ("Warrant": 1200 → 2000 ATK). The attack continues, but "Warrant" is not destroyed due to the effect of "Camouflage Drone" (Shepherd and Ghost Gal: 4000 → 3800 LP) ("Vacculephant": 2200 → 200 ATK). "Propelion" attacks "Warrant", with the effect of "Celtopus" activating again ("Propelion": 1200 → 3200 ATK), but "Warrant" isn't destroyed due to the effect of "Camouflage Drone" (Shepherd and Ghost Gal: 3800 → 2600 LP) ("Propelion": 3200 → 1200 ATK). During the End Phase, "Camouflage Drone" is destroyed via its own effect.

Turn 3: Ghost Gal
Ghost Gal Normal Summons "Altergeist Marionetter" (1600/1700). As it was Normal Summoned, Ghost Gal activates the effect of "Marionetter", allowing her to Set 1 "Altergeist" Trap Card from her Deck. She Sets "Altergeist Haunted Rock". As it was Set by the effect of an "Altergeist" monster, Ghost Gal can activate "Haunted Rock" during the turn it was Set. Ghost Gal activates the Continuous Trap "Haunted Rock". As "Haunted Rock" was activated, Ghost Gal must send 1 "Altergeist" monster from her hand to her GY. She sends "Altergeist Pookuery" from her hand to the GY. As a Trap Card was activated, Ghost Gal Special Summons "Altergeist Multifaker" from her hand in Attack Position via its own effect. Ghost Gal sets "Marionetter" and "Multifaker" (2 "Altergeist" monsters) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Altergeist Hexstia" (1500/↓→) to the Main Monster Zone. As an "Altergeist" Link Monster was Link Summoned to her field while "Pookuery" was in the GY, Ghost Gal activates the effect of "Pookuery" in her GY, adding "Pookuery" from the GY to her hand. As an "Altergeist" Link Monster was Link Summoned to her field, Ghost Gal Special Summons "Altergeist Fijialert" (1400/1200) from her hand in Attack Position via its own effect. Ghost Gal activates the second effect of "Fijialert", targeting 1 Link Monster she controls and treating it as an "Altergeist" monster, as long as "Fijialert" is face-up on the field. She targets "Warrant". As Ghost Gal would Link Summon an "Altergeist" Link Monster using an "Altergeist" monster she controls, Ghost Gal can use "Pookuery" in her has as Link Material as well, so Ghost Gal sets the Link-2 "Warrant", "Fijialert", and the "Pookuery" in her hand (2+ "Altergeist" monsters) in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Altergeist Memorygant" (2800/←↙↘→) to the Main Monster zone "Hexstia" points to. Due to the effect of "Hexstia", it gains ATK equal to the original ATK of each "Altergeist" monster it points to ("Hexstia": 1500 → 4300 ATK).

Duel continues in the next episode.

Differences in adaptationsEdit

  • In original version Ai tells Roboppi that they need to gain "experience points" to raise their own rating by defeating strong opponents. In the dub "experience points" are omitted; Roboppi must simply defeat weaker opponents to rank up.
  • In the dub, rather than mention turning humans into experience points, Roboppi mentions how the world is a huge mess because of humans and that Ai can fix it as he did for Roboppi, who plans to help by defeating humans as well.
