Yusei Fudo is a Duelist Construct of Yusei Fudo from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series in the Virtual Dueling System. He is also the last opponent and the final boss of 5D's Campaign mode that the player have to faced in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation. The player has to defeat him in a 2 out of 3 Match in Stage 12-5 in order to unlock ZEXAL Campaign mode and progress the next stage.

Appearance

As a Duelist Construct, his appearance is based on Yusei Fudo, and the outfit is what he normally wore in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series. The strange mark on the left side of Yusei's face is a criminal mark which indicate that Yusei is a criminal who have committed crimes in New Domino City.

Etymology

His given name "Yusei" is from a Japanese origin, and it has multiple meanings, but the most meaningful one is planet or planetary which is related to Yusei's star motif in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series. His surname "Fudo" is also from a Japanese origin, and its meaning is "steadfast" and "unmovable".

In the French and Italian version, he is simply refers to as "Yusei" and his surname "Fudo" was omitted.

Rewards

There are a total of six rewards that the player can earn and received after defeating the Duel Construct in a Duel. The first two rewards are cards that come from the Duel Construct's Deck and the third reward is a recipe for their Deck. Then the fourth, fifth and sixth rewards repeated the same process of the three earlier rewards, but in a harder difficulty with a different Deck. In addition, the sixth reward will allow the player to have the Duel Construct's avatar and the ability to Duel them anytime between the two difficulty.

As Yusei is a boss character, the player had to faced him in 2 out of 3 Match which can takes hour to defeat and receive the rewards. By defeating Yusei Fudo in a Duel for the first time, the player will receives the achievement 5D's which is unlocked by defeating Yusei Fudo. In the third reward, after the player receives the Deck Recipe, IN4-M8 will rewards the player with an additional 3000 Duel Points. In the sixth reward, IN4-M8 will also gives a additional reward to the player similar to how the extra reward was received in the third reward, this time the player will be rewarded with 7000 Duel Points.
