"" or "Infinity" (インフィニティ Infiniti) is an archetype of anti-Synchro Monster cards used by Aporia and his embodiments in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime and Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force video games. All of them are members of the "Meklord" and "Meklord Emperor" archetypes. They all have the name "∞" at the end of their names, but were removed in the TCG. This archetype encompasses all monsters of the "Top", "Attack", "Carrier", "Guard", "Wisel", "Skiel" and "Granel" series, along with a few members of other series and its support is present only in the anime and video games. The archetype's counterpart in the OCG/TCG is, for all intents and purposes, "Meklord Emperor".

These monsters are composed of variety components from the "Top", "Attack", "Carrier" and "Guard" archetypes. These monsters have their colors representing material. "Wisel" is silver, "Skiel" is sapphire, "Granel" is gold and "Mekanikle" is platinum. They are identified by the atom-like core inside the ∞ symbol on their chests.

The symbol is an abstract concept describing something without any limit and is relevant in a number of fields, predominantly mathematics and physics.

Playing style[edit]

In the anime, since the "Meklord Emperor" monsters have 0 ATK, they focuses on taking advantage of the opponent's Synchro Monster and from all other "Wisel", "Skiel" and "Granel" monsters on the field to gains ATK. Since they are composed of 5 monsters, they can be easily be Summoned by the effect of the core "Wise", "Sky" or "Grand". Also, each piece can be upgraded to monsters with higher levels and stronger effects, except for the "Meklord Emperor" monsters themselves. At least one piece each of "Wisel", "Skiel" and "Granel" has been shown to be upgradable to Level 5. The downside of this archetype is that only "Meklord Emperor" monsters can attack and when the "Meklord Emperor" monsters are destroyed, all monsters you control are destroyed.
