This search category entry details every card with effects that alter the Summoning conditions of monsters. This can involve either changing the requirements for the monster's own Summoning procedure, or modifying a Summoning condition that specifies it can only be Summoned by certain card effects. Unlike Summoning a monster by ignoring its Summoning conditions, altering its Summoning conditions still results in the monster being properly Special Summoned.
