Banner, Lyman

Lyman Banner, known as Daitokuji (大徳寺（だいとくじ）, Daitokuji) is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force video game series. This is a video game depiction of Lyman Banner, a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime.

Tag Force

Lyman can be found throughout Part 1 at the Slifer Red dorm, but will refuse to duel or team up with the player unless Pharaoh is following them around. Defeating Lyman 10 times earns the player 1 copy of "Homunculus the Alchemic Being" and his first Deck Recipe.

During Part 2, Lyman partners with Fonda Fontaine.

Due to Lyman Banner and Amnael not being treated as the same character in Tag Force, partnering with Lyman throughout Part 3 will eventually lead to a Tag Duel against Amnael and Jaden Yuki. A similar oversight happens with Atticus Rhodes during the encounter with Nightshroud. However, if Amnael is the player's partner, Lyman is nowhere to be found during Part 2.

Lyman, as Amnael, appears in the Abandoned Dorm after 10:00 P.M during Part 1 if he was defeated during Part 3. Defeating him 10 times will result in Amnael awarding them with both of his Deck Recipes as well as 3 copies of "Alchemic Kettle - Chaos Distill"

If the player wants to partner with both Lyman and Amnael, they have to be asked separately during Part 1.

Tag Force 3

Lyman and Amnael are now properly treated as the same character at all times.

The player can partner with Lyman by finishing 3 storylines, while his Amnael self is unlocked by finishing Lyman's story or defeating him 10 times.

Lyman Banner

Lyman Banner is a professor of alchemy and head of the Slifer Red dormitory.

His easygoing personality and laid-back tone of voice make it difficult to get a handle on what kind of a person he really is.

Lyman has rarely, or probably never taken part in a duel because he specializes in alchemy, which is the art of getting something from nothing. No one even knows what kind of Deck he might use.

Although much of his life is shrouded in mystery, one thing that's obvious to everyone is his fondness for cats.

Even his favorite kind of food is a mystery.

Amnael

Amnael is the true form of Professor Lyman Banner.
He was carrying out alchemy-related research in hopes of achieving immortality.
Eventually he discovered the answer lies with the Sacred Beasts, and plans to bring them back to life.

He runs an Alchemic Deck, and often removes cards from play as part of his unconventional dueling style.

錬金術（れんきんじゅつ）による永遠（えいえん）の命（いのち）を欲（ほっ）し、研究（けんきゅう）を続（つづ）けてきた。

デュエルにもその錬金術（れんきんじゅつ）が応用（おうよう）されており、

As he specializes in alchemy, which attempts to bring into being something out of nothing, it is not known if he duels much, if at all.
It is unknown what kind of Decks he would use, if he were to use any.

Much about him is unknown, but it is evident that he is very fond of cats.
