Aporia (Duel Generation)

Aporia is a Duelist Construct of Aporia from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series in the Virtual Dueling System. He is also the boss that the player have to faced in a 2 out of 3 Match in the 5D's Campaign mode Stage 10-5 in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation. The player has to defeat him in a Duel in order to unlock the next stage and progress Campaign mode.

Appearance

As a Duelist Construct, his appearance is based on Aporia, and the appearance and outfit comes from the time where his three android embodiments Lester, Jakob and Primo merged together to created his now default form in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series. There are actually two Aporia in the 5D's anime series, the Aporia shown in this game is actually the android version and not the original one.

Etymology

The name "Aporia" comes from the Ancient Greek word "ἀπορία" which has multiple meanings, but the most common one is found in philosophy where it is a philosophical puzzle or state of puzzlement, and in rhetoric where it is a rhetorically useful expression of doubt. In the non-English version, his name is spelled as "APORIA" with the entire letters in his name being in all caps.

Rewards

There are a total of six rewards that the player can earn and received after defeating the Duel Construct in a Duel. The first two rewards are cards that come from the Duel Construct's Deck and the third reward is a recipe for their Deck. Then the fourth, fifth and sixth rewards repeated the same process of the three earlier rewards, but in a harder difficulty with a different Deck. In addition, the sixth reward will allow the player to have the Duel Construct's avatar and the ability to Duel them anytime between the two difficulty.

As Aporia is a boss character, the player had to faced him in 2 out of 3 Match which can takes hour to defeat and receive the rewards.
