Appearances[edit]
Tag Force[edit]
Bastion is one of the Tier 1 characters that the player can first partner with for the Tag Force tournament in Part 2. During Tag Duel Sundays, if the player is not Bastion's partner, he teams up with Chazz.
If not partnered with the player, Bastion teams up with Alexis during Part 2, and is Tania's tag partner in Part 3.
Maxing out the player's relationship with Bastion during Part 1 earns the player 3 copies each of "Ritual of Lithmus" and "Swordsman of Doom Lithmus".
Tag Force 2[edit]
Bastion is a Tier 2 character. There is an alternate version of Bastion in this game as a member of the Society of Light, which is unlocked as a partner if the player defeats him in Aster's story.
Bastion can appear in Random Events for Tag Duels at the Abandoned Dorm, partnered with Axel.
Tag Force 3[edit]
Bastion is once again a Tier 1 character, but he has to be unlocked by defeating him 10 times or doing UMD Recognition with the first Tag Force game.
Bastion also has a second storyline, which is unlockable by doing UMD Recognition with Tag Force 2 or by finishing his normal storyline first.

Profiles[edit]
Tag Force[edit]
Bastion is a brilliant student. He earned the top score on the Academy's entrance examination.
He was the closest male to becoming a member of Obelisk Blue.
Bastion has a serious side to him, but can also be very openhearted. Although he ranks above the Slifer Red duelists, he doesn't look at them as inferiors.
During his spare time, Bastion will often run calculations through his head, then jot down the resulting formulas wherever he can find something to write on.
As a result, the walls in his room are covered with numbers and formulas like graffiti. Even his cards have mathematical formulas scrawled on them. This odd habit will often surface during a duel. He'll even calculate his opponent's playing style - applying theories or calculations to his own dueling tactics.
While Jaden has a natural gift that makes him an exceptional duelist, Bastion's excellence is the result of persistence and hard work.
He claims to have six different Decks of six Attributes, using them accordingly depending on his opponent. He says each of the Decks are perfectly balanced.
But for some reason he can rarely be found playing in a duel.
Bastion has a lot of potential when considering his high intelligence, personality and dueling skills. But his sole weak point, which is a "lack of presence", causes others to give him the cold shoulder.
He makes a point of not being interested in girls, but when they ask him for help he'll bend over backwards.
Bastion adds cards with cute, submissive-looking girls on them to his Deck, but in real life he prefers strong women.
He likes to eat vegetables, and seems fairly health conscious.
On the other hand he doesn't like fruit, and apparently hates sweets.

Bastion's profile in the European localization has 11 blank lines that have to be scrolled past to read the profile's text.
His profile in the Japanese version has 7 blank lines instead.
The American localization has no blank lines at all.
Bastion is the kind of elite duelist you would expect to be at a school like Duel Academy. Although he is a perfect duelist who is comparable to Jaden Yuki, has an excellent school record, is a talented sportsman, and has a good personality, he isn't treated well by his peers.

A person who seems to have already been in this empty space here.
He is as proficient in dueling as Judai, has excellent grades, is good at any kind of sport, and has a good personality, but despite all of this making him a man that is overall flawless, he is neglected entirely by the people around him.
