- In episode 74, Fender uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo while the former was possessed by the Barians. He Xyz Summons this card via "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" which targeted "Mechquipped Angineer". "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" then detaches the Overlay Units of "Number 39: Utopia", attaches them to this card, and decreases the ATK of "Utopia" by 600 (300 for each Overlay Unit it lost). "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" then granted this card the ability to negate destruction by battle effects. In the next episode, this card attacks and destroys "Utopia". Fender then activates this card's effect to detach all its Overlay Units and inflict 2000 damage to Yuma (500 damage for each Overlay Unit detached for this effect). On Fender's next turn, this card attacks directly, but Yuma activates "Pinpoint Guard" to revive "Gogogo Gigas". Fender then activates "Xyz Meteor" to allow this card to inflict piercing damage to Yuma. A replay occurs and Fender uses this card to attack and destroy "Gogogo Gigas". This card then inflicts piercing damage to Yuma. The secondary effect of "Xyz Meteor" then activates, letting Fender draw a card. On the last turn of the Duel, Yuma activates the effect of "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray" to decrease this card's ATK by 1000 and increase the ATK of "Utopia Ray" by 500. "Utopia Ray" then attacks this card, but Fender activates "Wild Charger" to increase this card's ATK by the ATK of "Utopia Ray". Yuma then activates "Numbers Impact" to increase the ATK of "Utopia Ray" by this card's ATK. "Utopia Ray" then destroys this card, winning Yuma the Duel.
- In episode 82, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Yuma Tsukumo has when he states that the Barians have been attacking continuously lately and the "CXyz" monsters the brainwashed people are using are powerful.
