• In episode 133, this card is shown when Joey Wheeler dreams he is dueling a kid in the finals of a tournament. When Joey activates "Shield & Sword" to swap the ATK and DEF of all monsters on the field, the kid activates this card to increase the DEF of "Metal Dragon" (who had 2250 ATK and 1500 DEF due to it being equipped with "Gust Fan") by 500 before the effect of "Shield & Sword" is applied to it. This makes the ATK of "Metal Dragon" 2000 and its DEF 2250. Joey doesn't notice this and he immediately uses his "Flame Swordsman" to attack "Metal Dragon" without checking. As a result, "Metal Dragon" destroys "Flame Swordsman" and Joey lost the Duel.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's

• In episode 119, Yoshizo Hayashi uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Jack Atlas. When "Red Dragon Archfiend" attacks "Hand-Holding Genie" (whose DEF was 2800 due to its own effect), Yoshizo activates this card to increase the DEF of "Hand-Holding Genie" by 500 until the end of the turn. The attack fails, but Jack activates the first effect of "Red Dragon Archfiend" to destroy all Defense Position monsters Yoshizo controls. Yoshizo then activates "Scrum Force" to prevent his Defense Position monsters from being destroyed by card effects. On Jack's End Phase, this card's effect expires.
