  • In episode 34, Trey uses this card during his Duel against Shark. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Chronomaly Crystal Bones" and "Chronomaly Crystal Skull". Trey then activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit in order to prevent this card from being destroyed in battle this turn and make Shark take all Battle Damage he would take from battles involving this card. This card then attacks "Number 32: Shark Drake" (who Shark took control of via the second effect of "Orichalcum Chain" and had 3100 ATK due to "Sunken Kingdom"), but Shark activates "Plate Salvage" to negate the effects of "Sunken Kingdom" for two turns, returning the ATK of "Shark Drake" to its original value. Due to this card's effect, it is not destroyed and Shark takes the damage Trey would have taken. Later "Shark Drake" attacks this card, but Trey activates the effect of "Chronomaly Colossal Head" to banish it from his Graveyard in order to switch this card to Defense Position. "Shark Drake" then destroys this card. Shark then activates the effect of "Shark Drake" to revive this card under Trey's control with 1000 less ATK and let "Shark Drake" attack this card. "Shark Drake" attacks this card, but Trey activates "Chronomaly Ley Line Power" to switch both battling monsters' ATK, but Shark activates "Sea King's Verdict" in order to negate and destroy "Chronomaly Ley Line Power". "Shark Drake" then destroys this card, winning Shark the Duel.
