- In episode 38, Maximillion Pegasus uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. Later Yugi's "Curse of Dragon" attacks this card, but Pegasus activates this card's effect to stop the attack and render "Curse of Dragon" immobile. Later Pegasus activates "Black Illusion Ritual" to Tribute this card and Ritual Summon "Relinquished".
- In the dub, Pegasus explicitly stated that he created this card exclusively for his Duel with Yugi.
- This monster's effect in the anime is Mesmerizing Magic.
- In the anime, this monster has 0 DEF and its effect was not a Flip Effect but it would activate whenever a monster attacks it.

- In the Spanish dub of the Anime, this card was known as "Ilusionista de los Ojos Negros".
