The effect then destroys a hat, but it turns out to be empty. Later "Slifer" attacks the hat that this card was under, but Yugi activates "Magic Cylinder" and "Spellbinding Circle" to decrease the ATK of "Slifer" by 700 and redirect the attack to "Slifer", but Strings uses the effect of "Jam Defender" to let "Revival Jam" intercept the attack destroying it instead. Later " 83: "Gamma The Magnet Warrior" attacks directly as Yugi believed that was the monster that was free to attack. Yugi was correct, but Yami Bakura activates "Dark Spirit of the Silent" to negate the attack and force this card to attack directly instead. The "Ghost of Dark Sanctuary" then negates the attack, inflicts damage to Yami Yugi equal to half of this card's ATK, and increases Yami Bakura's Life Points by the damage Yami Yugi took. In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode Noah's Final Threat, Part 2", Yugi Tribute Summons this card by Tributing " 118: "Alpha The Magnet Warrior". Since there is a "Dark Magician" in Yugi's Graveyard, this card gains 300 ATK due to its effect. This card then attacks directly, but due to Noah having a huge amount of Life Points he barely felt anything. Later Yugi activates "Dark Renewal" to revive "Dark Magician. This card then lost the ATK boost from its effect. After Yugi Summons "Magician of Black Chaos", Yugi uses his three Magicians to attack directly, but Noah activates "Chaos Barrier Field" to negate the attack and force this card and "Magician of Black Chaos" to battle instead.
