- In the non-canon duel World Championship 2016 Special: Yugi vs. Kaiba, Yugi Muto uses this card in his Duel with Seto Kaiba. He Xyz Summons it using "Dark Magician" and "Magician of Dark Illusion". When "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks this card, Yugi uses its effect to activate "Magic Cylinder" from his hand, to which Kaiba responded with "Enemy Controller" to Tribute his attacking monster so "Magic Cylinder" resolves without effect, and take control of this card. Yugi responds with this card's effect again, activating "Dark Illusion" from his hand to negate the activation of "Enemy Controller" and destroy it. After this card is destroyed in battle with another "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", its last effect Special Summons "Dark Magician Girl" from Yugi's Deck.
