- In episode 145, Yuma Tsukumo uses this card during his Duel against Astral. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Gagaga Magician" with itself via "Gagagamirage". Yuma then activates this card's first effect to detach "Gagaga Magician" and allow all "Gagaga" monsters to attack twice this turn. After "Gagaga Cowboy" destroys "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray" and "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray V" in battle, Yuma activates "Gagaga Mirror Slash" to make this card unable to be destroyed by battle this turn and treat its name and ATK the same as any monster it battles this turn. This card then attacks "Number 39: Utopia Beyond" and the effect of "Gagaga Mirror Slash" is applied. Only "Utopia Beyond" is destroyed and the second effect of "Gagaga Mirror Slash" inflicts damage to Astral equal to the ATK of "Utopia Beyond". This card then attacks "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray Victory" and the effect of "Gagaga Mirror Slash" is applied, but Astral activates "Heat & Heal" to increase his Life Points by the ATK of "Number 39: Utopia". Only "Utopia Ray Victory" is destroyed in battle and the second effect of "Gagaga Mirror Slash" inflicts damage to Astral equal to the ATK of "Utopia Ray Victory". Later, this card attacks and destroys "Utopia" (whose effects were negated and ATK was 1700 via "Light Wing Bumper"). Astral then activates "Rank-Down-Magic Utopia Fall" to Xyz Summon "Number 39: Utopia Roots". Later "Utopia Roots" (whose ATK was 2000 via "Number Fortification") attacks "Gagaga Cowboy", but Yuma activates this card's second effect to switch itself to Defense Position and make this card the attack target. Astral then activates "Rank Revolution" to negate this card's effect since its Rank was higher than "Utopia Roots". "Utopia Roots" then destroys "Gagaga Cowboy". Astral then activates "Overlay Accel" to detach an Overlay Unit from "Utopia Roots" and let it attack again. "Utopia Roots" then attacks and destroys this card. In the final episode, Astral activates the effect of "Overlay Accel" to detach an Overlay Unit from "Utopia Roots" and let it attack again. The next attack made by "Utopia Roots however is negated by "Danger Draw". Yuma then activates "Halfway to Forever" (via "Danger Draw") to overlay this card and "Gagaga Cowboy" from the Graveyard in order to Xyz Summon "Future Number 0: Utopic Future". Yuma detaches this card for one of the effects of "Utopic Future" at an unspecified point.
