Card Appearances:Gearspring Catapult
- In episode 20, Bronk Stone uses this card during his Duel against Number 96 while the latter was using Yuma Tsukumo's Deck. He activates this card after the effect of "Spring Punch" resolves. On Bronk's Standby Phase, this card gains a Gearspring Counter. After Bronk Xyz Summons "Number 39: Utopia", he activates this card's effect to increase the ATK of "Utopia" by 500. On Bronk's End Phase, this card's effect expires. After "Number 96: Dark Mist" (whose ATK was 3100 through its own effect) destroys "Utopia" (whose ATK was 500 due to the effect of "Dark Mist" being used twice on it) in battle, Number 96 planned to destroy this card as he didn't want Bronk to use this card to increase the ATK of any monsters he may summon during his turn, however Yuma, pretending to be possessed by Number 96's power, claims that Bronk's true aim was his face-down "Gearspring Exploder" which will inflict 800 damage to Number 96 for each Gearspring Counter Bronk has once this card and "Automatic Gearspring Machine" gain Gearspring Counters and the damage will total to 3200 as Bronk will have four Gearspring Counters during his own turn. In response, Number 96 activates "Xyz Cyclone" to destroy "Gearspring Exploder" (Yuma purposely deceives Number 96 to do this by Astral's instructions as it was the only way for Bronk to have a chance to win the Duel). On Bronk's Standby Phase, this card gains a Gearspring Counter. After Bronk revives "Utopia" via "Monster Reborn", he activates this card's effect to remove a Gearspring Counter and increase the ATK of "Utopia" by 500. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
