In episode 127, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Yami Marik. He Tribute Summons the card by Tributing "Panther Warrior", "Rocket Warrior", and "Lava Golem". This card's effect then activates, destroying Marik's "Plasma Eel". This card then attacks directly, but Marik activates "Nightmare Mirror" to negate the attack and inflict 1000 damage to Joey. In the next episode, Yami Marik activates the Egyptian God Phoenix effect of "The Winged Dragon of Ra" to destroy this card. By the rules of the Shadow Game, this obliterates nearly all of Joey's strength, but it doesn't kill him which Yami Marik and Kaiba were shocked to see.

In episode 135, this card is seen in a flashback Yugi Muto has when he remembers Joey's Duel against Yami Marik.

In episode 136, this card appears in a flashback that Yugi has when he notes to Yami Yugi that Joey could have won the tournament if Yami Marik's Shadow Game didn't make him pass out of exhaustion.

In episode 138, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers his Duel with Yami Marik and when he is explaining to his friends that Yami Marik just needs "Monster Reborn" in order to bring "The Winged Dragon of Ra" out because many of its devastating effects can be activated when it's revived.

In episode 139, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Yami Yugi has when he remembers what Yami Marik did to his friends(sending Mai's mind to the Shadow Realm and hurting Joey so much that he collapsed before he could finally beat Marik).

In episode 143, this card appeared in a flashback Yugi had when he remembered Joey being attacked by "The Winged Dragon of Ra" during his Duel with Yami Marik and Joey falling unconscious before he could deal the final blow to Marik.

In episode 172, Joey draws this card during his Duel against Mai Valentine. In the next episode, Joey Tribute Summons this card by Tributing his "Swordsman of Landstar" and two of Mai's four "Copy Tokens" (who Joey took control of via "Double Magical Arm Bind"). This card's effect then activates, destroying all monsters Mai controls. This card then attacks directly. Mai then activates "Monster Reborn" to revive "Cyber Harpie Lady". She then activates "Elegant Egotist" to transform "Cyber Harpie Lady" into "Harpie Lady Sisters". Mai then activates "Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation" to destroy this card and Joey's Sheep Token and inflict damage to Joey equal to the total ATK of his destroyed monsters.

In episode 183, Joey uses this card in the battle against The Great Leviathan. After the three chosen Duelists each summon out three monsters, they all use their monsters to attack the Great Leviathan. Despite the chosen Duelists' monsters being joined by other Duel Spirits, the Great Leviathan suffers no visible damage from the attacks. The Great Leviathan then attacks, destroying all of the monsters the chosen Duelists summoned, including the three Legendary Knights.

In episode 184, this card appears in a flashback Mai has when she remembers ruthlessly using "Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation" to destroy this card and wipe out a large amount of Joey's Life Points during their Duel in the alley.

In episode 188, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Solomon Muto while the latter was disguised as Apdnarg Otum. He Tribute Summons this card by tributing "Brigadier of Landstar", "Knight of Landstar" and "Grappler of Landstar". The effect of this card then activates, destroying Solomon's "Ancient Dragon". This card then attacks directly, but Solomon activates the effect of "Ordeal of a Traveler" and uses "Sinister Serpent" for its effect. Joey guesses monster and Solomon reveals he was correct, so the attack continues. On Joey's End Phase, Solomon uses the effect of "Ancient City" to revive "Ancient Dragon". "Ancient Dragon" then attacks this card, causing both monsters to be destroyed in a Double KO. Later Joey activates "Premature Burial" to revive this card and equip it with "Premature Burial". This card then attacks "Ancient Dragon", causing both monsters to be destroyed in a Double KO.

In episode 222, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers being attacked by "The Winged Dragon of Ra" during his Duel with Yami Marik. He notes that it was incredibly intense that he lost nearly all his strength from the attack.

Joey is shown dropping this card after he gets attacked directly by an unknown man's "Injection Fairy Lily".

Joey uses this card during against an unknown kid. He Tribute Summons this card by Tributing "Baby Dragon", "Rocket Warrior", and "Little-Winguard". Since Joey summoned this card by Tributing 3 monsters, he activates this card's effect to destroy "Maju Garzett". This card then attacks directly, winning Joey the Duel.

Joey summons this card and "Gearfried the Iron Knight" when Anubis becomes a gigantic monster due to the jewel piece from the Pyramid of Light. Both Joey's monsters attack Anubis, but don't do any harm to him. Anubis then destroys both of Joey's monsters.

In episode 49, this card is seen in the display of case of Solomon Muto's Kame Game shop, and is drained by the Sacred Beasts for Kagemaru. After Jaden defeats Kagemaru the cards in the game shop are restored.
