In the original Japanese, this card's attack name is ゴゴゴ・ブロー ("Gogogo Blow") or グレート・キャノン ("Great Cannon") when affected by "Golden Form". In the English dub, this card's attack name is "Gogogo Gust".

  • In episode 1, Yuma Tsukumo draws this card during his Duel against Shark. In the next episode, Astral tells Yuma to set this card in Defense Position, but Yuma tells Astral to not butt in and Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. Yuma then activates "Blustering Winds" to increase this card's ATK and DEF by 1000. This card then attacks "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon", but while Shark took Battle Damage, "Leviathan Dragon" was not destroyed, as "Numbers" can only be destroyed in battle by other "Numbers". After Shark activates the effect of "Leviathan Dragon" to increase its ATK to 3000, "Leviathan Dragon" attacks and destroys this card.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card can be seen after Yuma collides with a Litterbot.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in Astral's thoughts when he explains in detail to Yuma about the "Numbers" and how they work.
  • In episode 3, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Mr. Kay. He Special Summons this card via the effect of Mr. Kay's "Crashbug Road" and despite Astral telling Yuma to summon this card in Defense Position, Yuma chooses to Special Summon it in Attack Position, believing its high ATK will give him a better advantage. After Mr. Kay Xyz Summons "Number 34: Terror-Byte", he activates the latter's effect to take control of this card. This card then attacks and destroys "Gagaga Magician". In the next episode, control of this card went back to Yuma during the End Phase. On Mr. Kay's next turn, he activates the effect of "Terror-Byte" to take control of this card. After Mr. Kay activates "Infected Mail" and "Cracking", this card attacks directly via the effect of "Infected Mail". At the end of the Battle Phase, the final effect of "Infected Mail" destroys this card. The effect of "Cracking" then activates, inflicting 800 damage to Yuma.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in Astral's explanation when he explains if Yuma had listened to him, he would have been able to Xyz Summon "Utopia". Yuma, upon realizing the mistake he made and what could have happened, quickly justifies that he already knew that.
  • In episode 7, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Nelson Andrews. After he Normal Summons this card, this card attacks Nelson's "Beast-Warrior Puma", but Nelson activates "Trion Barrier" to switch this card to Defense Position. Later "Esper Star Sparrow" attacks this card, but this card is not destroyed via its own effect, however "Esper Star Sparrow" then inflicts piercing damage to Yuma due to Nelson activating the effect of "Number 83: Galaxy Queen" earlier in the turn. "Beast-Warrior Puma" then attacks and destroys this card. "Beast-Warrior Puma" then inflicts piercing damage to Yuma.
    • This card is also shown after after Yuma's Deck case falls out of his school bag and his cards fall out.
  • In episode 10, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Shark. He Normal Summons this card on the first turn of the Duel. Later "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark" attacks and destroys this card. Later Yuma activates "Monster Reborn" to revive this card. He then overlays this card and "Gagaga Magician" In order to Xyz Summon "Number 39: Utopia".
    • This card is also seen when Caswell Francis checks Yuma's Deck for his "Number" monsters (which were not present at the time due to Astral not being around at the time).
  • In episode 12, this card is shown in Yuma'a hand during his Tag Duel with Shark against Scorch and Chills. Scorch forces Yuma to return this card from his hand to his Main Deck from his hand via Scorch's "Volcanic Abyss".
  • In episode 14, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Kite Tenjo. He Sets this card in Defense Position. Later "Number 20: Giga-Brilliant" (whose ATK was 2100 through its own effect) attacks this card, but while this card is flipped face-up, it is not destroyed by battle via its own effect. "Number 10: Illumiknight" then attacks and destroys this card. Later Yuma banishes this card from his Graveyard as part of the cost for "Monster Slots".
    • This card also appears in Yuma's Deck as part of the effect of "Monster Slots".
  • In episode 17, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Fortuno. After he Normal Summons this card, Fortuno activates the effect of "Orange Shaman" to Special Summon "Red Shaman". This card attacks one of the "Shamans", but Fortuno activates "Dance of the Guardian" to target "Gagaga Magician" from Yuma's hand and reveal it. As "Gagaga Magician" was a monster, the attack is negated. Later "Number 16: Shock Master" attacks and destroys this card.
  • In episode 19, this card can be seen on Yuma's desk whilst he is looking at Emperor's Key and thinks about his parents.
    • This card is also shown as part of Yuma's backstory to Astral when he explains to Astral that his dad believed he could become a champion one day and giving up halfway is like betraying his father and his teachings. Kazuma Tsukumo uses this card during his Duel against Yuma in this flashback. He attempts to overlay this card and "Ganbara Knight" for an Xyz Summon only to realize that he had no Xyz Monsters.
  • In episode 23, Astral uses this card during his Duel against Kite Tenjo. He sets this card in Defense Position. Kite then summons "Reverse Buster" and uses it to attack this card. Due to the first effect of "Reverse Buster", Astral is unable to activate his set "Battle Break". Kite then activates the second effect of "Reverse Buster" to destroy this card at the start of the Damage Step without applying damage calculation and increase the ATK of "Reverse Buster" by 500 shortly after. Later Astral revives this card via the effect of "Gogogo Giant". Though Astral had the chance to Xyz Summon, he chose to activate "Double Defender" instead as he was afraid that Kite's set card at the time would respond to either Xyz Summoning or attacking and Kite may summon "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" during his next turn, which all turned out to be wrong. In the next episode, Astral overlays this card and "Kagetokage" in order to Xyz Summon "Number 39: Utopia".
  • In episode 25, this card appears in a flashback Yuma has when he remembers that he Duel Fortuno and attained the power of "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray".
  • In episode 26, this card is shown when Yuma is rebuilding his Deck for the upcoming World Duel Carnival.
  • In episode 27, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Striker Crossit. He sets this card in Defense Position. After Striker activates "Stadium of Dreams", the latter's effect flips this card face-up. After Striker activates "Perfect Pass" to target "Wing Captain" and negate the effects of any monster it battles this turn, "Wing Captain" attacks this card. Due to the second granted effect of "Perfect Pass", the ATK of "Wing Captain" is doubled due to this card having higher DEF. "Wing Captain" then destroys this card and inflicts piercing damage to Yuma. Later Yuma activates "Monster Reborn" to revive this card. He then activates "Cross Attack" to target this card and "Zubaba Buster" and allow the latter monster to attack directly this turn at the cost of forbidding this card from attacking this turn. Later "Playmaker" attacks this card, but this card's effect prevented its destruction. Striker then activates the effect of "Playmaker" to let it attack again. "Playmaker" then attacks and destroys this card.
  • In episode 28, during Yuma's Duel against Cody Callus, Yuma sends this card, "Goblindbergh", and "Blustering Winds" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard via the effect of "Digvorzhak, King of Heavy Industry". As two monsters were sent to the Graveyard via the effect of "Digvorzhak", Cody uses the second part of the effect of "Digvorzhak" to destroy "Gagaga Magician" and "Mystical Donator".
  • In episode 32, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Charlie McCay. He sets this card in Defense Position. Later "Majestic Jester" attacks this card. Charlie then activates the effect of "Majestic Jester" to roll a die. Charlie gets a six, so the effect of "Majestic Jester" destroys this card. Later Yuma banishes this card from his Graveyard as part of the cost for "Monster Slots".
  • In episode 35, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Cameron Clix. He sets this card in Defense Position. Later Cameron activates "Negative Image Inversion" to switch this card to Attack Position and switch its ATK and DEF. "Cameraclops" (whose ATK was 2600 via "Telescopic Lens") then attacks and destroys this card. In the next episode, Yuma activates the effect of "Gogogo Giant" to revive this card. Though Cameron intended for Yuma to Xyz Summon "Number 39: Utopia" since he has the required monsters necessary to summon it and tried to goad him into summoning it, Yuma refuses to let anything alter his future and ended his turn. Later, "Number 25: Force Focus" attacks this card. Cameron then activates this card's effect to negate this card's effects until the end of the turn. "Force Focus" then destroys this card.
  • In episode 44, Yuma uses this card during his duel against Roku. It was summoned at an unspecified point. When "Gagaga Girl" attacks Roku's set monster, Roku activates "Mirror Force" to destroy all of Yuma's monsters.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yuma has when Roku tells him to use Dueling as his guide as Dueling is the bond that connects him to his father.
  • In episode 47, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Trey. He sets this card in Defense Position. Later, "Chronomaly Aztec Mask Golem" attacks this card, but while this flips this card face-up, the attack ends in a stalemate. After Trey Normal Summons "Chronomaly Cabrera Catapult", he activates the latter's effect to Tribute "Chronomaly Aztec Mask Golem" and decrease this card's ATK to 0. Trey then activates the effect of "Number 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech" to inflict damage to Yuma equal the difference between this card's original and current ATK. On Trey's End Phase, the effect of "Chronomaly Cabrera Catapult" expires, returning this card's ATK to its original value. In the next episode, "Chronomaly Mud Golem" attacks this card. While this card is not destroyed due to its own effect, "Chronomaly Mud Golem" inflicts piercing damage to Yuma. Trey then activates "Heart of Stone" to allow "Chronomaly Mud Golem" to attack again. "Chronomaly Mud Golem" then attacks and destroys this card. "Chronomaly Mud Golem" then inflicts piercing damage to Yuma.
  • In episode 52, Yuma uses this card during his Duel Coaster Battle Royal against the Triad of Terror. He Normal Summons this card in Defense Position. Coyote then Normal Summons "Magnet Crocodile Zeta" and uses it to attack this card, but this card wasn't destroyed due to its own effect. "Magnet Ape Epsilon" then attacks and destroys this card.
  • In episode 61, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Shark. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. After Yuma switches "Dododo Bot" to Attack Position, this card attacks and destroys "Spear Shark". Later "Double Shark" (whose ATK was 2200 via "Aqua Jet") attacks this card, but Yuma activates "Impenetrable Attack" to prevent this card's destruction, however Shark activates "Shark Spark" to negate and destroy "Impenetrable Attack". "Double Shark" then destroys this card. In the next episode, Yuma revives this card via the effect of "Gogogo Ghost" after Shark activates the effect of "Number 32: Shark Drake" to revive "Gogogo Ghost" with 1000 less ATK. Later Yuma switches this card to Attack Position. He then activates "Golden Form" to double this card's ATK. This card then attacks "Shark Drake", but while Shark takes Battle Damage, "Shark Drake" is not destroyed since this card wasn't a "Number". Later, Shark activates the effect of "Chaos Number 32: Shark Drake Veiss" to banish "Spear Shark" from his Graveyard and reduce this card's ATK by the ATK of "Spear Shark", but Yuma activates "Power Change Barrier" to negate the effect of "Shark Drake Veiss" by reducing this card's ATK by 600. Shark then activates the effect of "Shark Drake Veiss" by banishing "Double Shark" from his Graveyard, but Yuma activates the effect of "Power Change Barrier" to negate the effect of "Shark Drake Veiss" and reduce this card's ATK by 600. Shark then activates the effect of "Shark Drake Veiss" by banishing "Shark Drake" from his Graveyard, but Yuma activates the effect of "Power Change Barrier" to negate the effect of "Shark Drake Veiss" and reduce this card's ATK by 600. "Shark Drake Veiss" then attacks this card, but Yuma activates "Half Unbreak" to prevent this card's destruction and halve the Battle Damage he takes. On the last turn of the Duel, Yuma overlays this card and "Gagaga Magician" in order to Xyz Summon "Number 39: Utopia".
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Yuma has when he explains the effect of "Gogogo Ghost".
  • In episode 65, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Vetrix. He uses the effect of "Sphere Field" to overlay this card and "Gagaga Magician" in order to Xyz Summon "Number 12: Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja". Later Yuma detaches this card in order to activate the effect of "Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja".
  • In episode 84, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Shark. He sets this card in Defense Position. Later Shark activates the effect of "Big Whale" to flip this card face-up. After Shark activates the effect of "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark", Shark activates the effect of "Black Ray Lancer" to negate this card's effects. "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark" then attacks and destroys this card. Later Yuma activates the effect of "Gogogo Giant" to revive this card and switch "Gogogo Giant" to Defense Position. Yuma then activates "Gogogo Talisman" to prevent his monsters from being destroyed by battle once per turn and make any effect damage he takes 0 (as he had two "Gogogo" monsters present on his field). Later Shark activates the effect of "Black Ray Lancer" to negate this card's effects. After "Black Ray Lancer" attacks and destroys "Gogogo Giant", "Shark Fortress" attacks this card, but "Gogogo Talisman" prevents this card's destruction. Shark then activates the effect of "Shark Fortress" to allow "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark" to attack again (as it previously attacked "Gogogo Giant"). Submersible Carrier Aero Shark" then attacks and destroys this card. "Gogogo Talisman" was then destroyed shortly after since Yuma had no "Gogogo" monsters on his field.
  • In episode 88, Yuma uses this card during his Battle Royal Duel against Ray Shadows and Girag. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. When Girag activates the last effect of "Number 106: Giant Hand" to destroy "Number 39: Utopia" and inflict its ATK as damage to Yuma (done in response to "Utopia" attacking "Giant Hand"), Ray activates the effect of "Shining Sly" to Tribute this card and reduce the damage Yuma would take to 0, however Girag activates the effect of "Giant Hand" to negate the effects of "Shining Sly".
  • In episode 92, Yuma uses this card during his Tag-Team Duel with Anna Kaboom against Brooke Walker and Mayday Walker. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. Later Mayday activates the effect of "Indestructible Airship Hindenkraft" to switch this card to Defense Position. Due to the effect of "Iceberg Ocean", this card's DEF is reduce to 0. Brooke then activates the effect of "Unsinkable Titanica" to destroy this card and inflict half its ATK as damage to Yuma. Yuma then activates "Puzzle Reborn" to revive this card. Later Anna activates "Southern Stars" to change this card's Level to 10. Anna then overlays this card and "Night Express Knight" in order to Xyz Summon "Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max".
  • In episode 100, during Yuma's Duel against Mach, Yuma was forced to send this card from his hand to the Graveyard via "Labyrinth of Decisions".
  • In episode 110, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Number 96. After Yuma Normal Summons this card, he Special Summons "Doggy Diver" via its own effect. He then overlays this card and "Doggy Diver" in order to Xyz Summon "Number 39: Utopia". After Yuma Xyz Summons "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray Victory" via "Rank-Up-Magic Numeron Force", the Overlay Units of "Utopia" are attached to "Utopia Ray Victory". Number 96 then activates "Chaos Bringer" to detach all Overlay Units from "Utopia Ray Victory".
  • In episode 112, this card can be seen on Yuma's desk as he mourns the loss of Astral.
  • In episode 116, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Trey has when he explains to Yuma that the reason he repeatedly visits the places from his memories is because Yuma always believes that he will one day meet Astral again.
  • In episode 143, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Yuma has when he reminds Shark of all their previous Duels against each other where they clashed and clashed again.
  • In episode 144, Yuma uses this card during his Duel against Astral. He Normal Summons this card on the first turn. Later Astral activates "Parallel Unit" to target this card and treat "Parallel Unit" as a monster with the same Level as this card. After Astral summons "Number 39: Utopia Beyond" and "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray Victory", Astral activates the effect of "Utopia Beyond" to reduce this card's ATK to 0. Yuma activates "Guardraw" to switch this card to Defense Position and draw a card. "Utopia Ray Victory" then attacks this card and Astral activates the effect of "Utopia Ray Victory" to gain ATK equal to this card's ATK and negate this card's effects. "Utopia Ray Victory" then destroys this card. Yuma then activates "Guard Go!" to revive this card and Special Summon "Gagaga Magican" and "Dododo Warrior". Later, "Number 39: Utopia" attacks this card, but this card is not destroyed due to its own effect. "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray" then attacks and destroys this card.

  • This card can be seen in the Japanese opening themes "Masterpiece" and "BRAVING!," and closing themes "Unbreakable Heart" and "Artist." This monster can be seen in the Japanese opening theme "Soul Drive," Japanese closing themes "Wonder Wings" and "Challenge the GAME," and both versions of English themes "Take a Chance."

  • In Rank 3, Yuma Tsukumo uses this card during his Duel against Shark. After Normal Summoning this card, Yuma activates "Blustering Winds" to increase this card's ATK and DEF by 1000. This card then attacks "No. 17: Leviathan Dragon", but while Shark took Battle Damage, "Leviathan Dragon" was not destroyed, as "Numbers" can only be destroyed in battle by other "Numbers". After Shark activates the effect of "Leviathan Dragon" to increase its ATK to 3000, "Leviathan Dragon" attacks and destroys this card.
  • In Rank 22, Yuma Normal Summons this card on his first turn against Eviluder. Yuma uses this card's Normal Summon for the summoning condition of "Kagetokage". The same turn, this card is used with "Kagetokage" as Xyz Material for the Xyz Summon of "Number 39: Utopia".

Yu-Gi-Oh! D Team ZEXAL[edit]

  • In chapter 1, this card can be seen in Yuma's opening hand against Tetsuo Takeda. Later, Yuma Normal Summons this card and attacks Tetsuo directly. The next turn, this card is destroyed by battle by "Tin Archduke". After that, Yuma Special Summons this card from the Graveyard with the effect of "Gogogo Giant". The same turn, this card is used with "Gogogo Giant" as Xyz Material for the Xyz Summon of "Number 39: Utopia".
  • In chapter 5, this card can be seen when Yuma is rebuilding his Deck.
  • In chapter 7, Yuma draws and sets this card on the first turn against Gauche. The next turn, this card is destroyed with the effect of Gauche's "Heroic Challenger - Night Watchman".
  • In chapter 17, Yuma uses this card against IV. Yuma draws and sets this card. During Yuma's next turn, Yuma Tributes this card for the summoning condition of "Gogogo Golem - Golden Form". "Golden Form's" ATK becomes double of this card's ATK via "Golden Form's" own effect. The same turn, Yuma Special Summons this card from the Graveyard with the effect of "Gogogo Giant". Next, this card's presence on the field increases "Golden Form's" ATK by 800 with the effect of "United We Stand". This card remained on the field until the end of the duel.
