Duelist Kingdom[edit]
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 2: "The Gauntlet Is Thrown", this monster and "Celtic Guardian" are shown on Solomon Muto's poster while he was talking to his grandson.
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 4: "Into the Hornet's Nest", Weevil Underwood uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He summoned this card on the third turn of the Duel. Yami Yugi then attacks this card with his "Feral Imp" (whose ATK was 2000 due to it being equipped with "Horn of the Unicorn"), but since monsters with a field power bonus can negate the effects of Equip Spells that are equipped onto monsters they battle, the effect of "Horn of the Unicorn" is negated. This card then destroys "Feral Imp". This card was later destroyed by the effect of Yugi's "Mirror Force".
Legendary Heroes[edit]
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 45: "Legendary Heroes, Part 3", A swarm of these monsters along with a swarm of "Killer Needles" were seen when Yugi Muto, Joey Wheeler, and Mai Valentine went to the Virtual World to save Seto Kaiba. They attack the group to prevent them from reaching the trio from reaching the castle. Joey summons "Giltia the Dark Knight" and uses it to attack and destroy the swarm, but a "Man-Eater Bug" clamps onto Joey's monster and self destructs, causing both "Giltia" and "Man-Eater Bug" to be destroyed. Yugi then activates "Mirror Force" to protect his friends from the swarm, but this causes a huge fire that disturbs the cocoons and causes them to hatch into "Great Moths".

- In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 196: "Sinister Secrets - Part 1", this card is shown within Leon von Schroeder's backstory flashback when he is shown watching Yugi's Duels on television.

- In Yu-Gi-Oh! GX episode 40: "A Lying Legend", this card is shown as an Egyptian Spirit monster in one of Abidos the Third's duels against his servants.
