Season 1

• In episode 11, Jaden Yuki uses this card during his Tag Duel with Syrus Truesdale against Para and Dox. When Para uses "Dark Guardian" to attack Syrus's "Drillroid", Jaden activates this card to negate the attack.
• In episode 21, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Bastion Misawa. When Bastion's "Oxygeddon" attacks "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix", Jaden activates this card to negate the attack.
• In episode 23, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Belowski, When Belowski uses "Mokey Mokey" (whose ATK was 3000 due to it being affected by "Mokey Mokey Smackdown") to attack "Elemental HERO Sparkman", Jaden activates this card to negate the attack. Belowski then uses his last "Mokey Mokey" (whose ATK was 3000 due to it being affected by "Mokey Mokey Smackdown") to attack and destroy "Sparkman".
• In episode 42, Jaden Yuki uses this card during his Duel against Dark Magician Girl. When "Dark Magician Girl" (whose ATK was 2700 due to it being equipped with "Magic Formula") attacks "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman", Jaden activates "Staunch Defender" and this card (the two cards resolve in reverse order). This card then negates "Dark Magician Girl's" attack. "Staunch Defender" then forced Dark Magician Girl's two "Magician's Valkyrias" to attack Jaden's "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman". "Flame Wingman" then destroys both "Magician's Valkyrias". "Flame Wingman" then inflicts damage to Dark Magician Girl equal to the ATK of her "Magician's Valkyrias", winning Jaden the Duel.

Season 3

• In episode 123, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Fonda Fontaine while the latter was a Duel Ghoul. When "Burning Algae" attacks "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman" (Miss Fontaine was intending to activate the effect of "Burning Algae" which would increase Jaden's Life Points by 1000, however the effect of "Nurse Reficule the Fallen One" would then change the increase to damage), Jaden activates this card to negate the attack. "Nurse Reficule" (whose ATK was 2400 due to the effect of "Brutal Potion") then attacks and destroys "Flame Wingman".
• In episode 146, Jaden sets this card during his Duel against Zane Truesdale, but it was not played. Later Zane activates the second effect of "Armored Cybern" to destroy this card and decrease the ATK of "Cyber End Dragon" by 1000. Zane points out to Jaden if he had used "Sparkman" and "Spark Blaster" to destroy "Armored Cybern" then he would have been able to use this card to negate "Cyber End Dragon's" attack and win the duel as the last effect of "Power Bond" would have inflicted damage to Zane equal to the original ATK of "Cyber End Dragon" during the End Phase.
• In episode 153, Jaden uses this card during his final Duel against Yubel. When "Yubel" attacks "Sparkman", Jaden activates this card to negate the attack. Yubel then activates "Zero Sprite" to equip the latter to "Yubel" and allow it to attack twice during each Battle Phase. "Yubel" then attacks "Sparkman" again. The attack fails, but due to the second effect of "Yubel", Jaden takes the Battle Damage that Yubel would have taken.

Season 4

• In episode 161, this card is shown in Jaden's hand during his Tag Duel with Alexis Rhodes against Chancellor Sheppard and Ms. Dorothy.
• In episode 170, this card is shown in a flashback Jaden has when he realizes that Sartorius must have slipped "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool" into his Deck when he was checking it.
• In episode 172, this card is shown in a flashback Jaden has when he realizes his "Polymerization" must have been tainted with darkness by the "Arcana Force 0 - The Fool" card Sartorius slipped in.
• In episode 177, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Nightshroud. When "Darkness Destroyer" (whose ATK was 5300 due to it being powered up by the effect of "Darkness 2") attacks "Elemental HERO Necroshade", Jaden activates this card to negate the attack. "Darkness Destroyer" then attacks and destroys "Necroshade" as it can attack twice during each Battle Phase. "Darkness Destroyer" then inflicts piercing damage to Jaden.

Manga

• In chapter 1, Jaden Yuki used this to stop Mr. Ryuga's "Hyper Hammerhead" attacking "Elemental Hero Ocean".

Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time

• Jaden Yuki uses this card during his Duel with Yugi Muto and Yusei Fudo against Paradox. When "Malefic Paradox Dragon" attacks "Elemental HERO Neos Knight" (whose ATK was increased by half the ATK of "Junk Gardna" due to its effect and decreased by the ATK of "Stardust Dragon" due to the second effect of "Malefic Paradox Dragon"), Jaden activates this card to negate the attack. Paradox then activates "Malefic Claw Stream" to destroy "Neos Knight". Jaden then activates "Elemental Mirage" to revive "Neos Knight".
