• In episode 18, Syrus Truesdale uses this card during his Duel against Dimitri. On the last turn of the Duel, Dimitri's "Ancient Gear Golem" attacks this card, but Syrus uses this card's effect to activate "Magic Cylinder" from his hand, allowing Syrus to negate the attack and inflict damage to Dimitri equal to the ATK of "Ancient Gear Golem", which wins Syrus the Duel.
  • Apparently, this move disregarded Ancient Gear Golem's effect. In the episode in question, Golem's ruling where Jetroid's Trap-related effect would be stopped was overlooked.
• In episode 84, Syrus uses this card during his duel against a Slifer Red student during the Genex Tournament. He summons this card in Attack Position. Syrus had intended to activate "Magic Cylinder" from his hand when "Berserk Gorilla" attacks this card, but the student Tributes "Berserk Gorilla" to summon "Jinzo", whose effect negates Trap Cards. "Jinzo" then attacks and destroys this card.
