• In episode 103, this card appears in the flashback relating to the events after Gozaburo Kaiba adopted Seto Kaiba and Mokuba Kaiba. This card is shown in Kaiba's Deck as he looks through it before finding a drawing of a "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" card.
• In episode 116, this card appears in a flashback Kaiba has when he reminds Mokuba that after Gozaburo pushed him to his limits, he (Mokuba) inspired him by sneaking his Deck to him and giving him a drawing of a "Blue-Eyes Wihte Dragon" card which got him to promise himself that he will work until he got an actual "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" card.

• In episode 48, this card was shown as a stone tablet in Torunka's backstory flashback when he explains on how the Duel spirits used to live peacefully until Zeman the Ape King and his army inflicted the Minus Curse on everybody and took control of the spirit world.
  • This card is also seen on the wall as a stone tablet in Zeman's castle as one of the prisoners trapped in stone tablets.
• In episode 49, this card is seen on the wall as a stone tablet in Zeman's castle as one of the prisoners trapped in stone tablets.

Yoshizo then passes the baton to Jinbei Tanigawa who proceeds in Dueling Jack. Due to the rulings of the WRGP, this card is placed onto Jinbei's side of the field as his card.
  • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in Taro Yamashita's backstory when he was shown building the Deck that he and his friends would use for the World Racing Grand Prix.
  • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Jinbei has when he reminds himself that he and his friends believe in their battling style. Later after Jinbei abandons his friends and rejoins them after they save him, he is shown holding this card up and asks his friends if this is Taro's secret strategy and if this is the symbol of their bonds. Taro agrees and states it's a secret strategy that only they can execute.
• In episode 120, Jinbei uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Jack. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over. After Jinbei defeats Jack, he passes the baton to Crow Hogan who proceeds in Dueling Jinbei.
• In episode 120, Jinbei uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Crow. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over. After Crow defeats Jinbei, he passes the baton to Taro who proceeds in Dueling Crow. Due to the rulings of the WRGP, this card is placed onto Taro's side of the field as his card.
• In episode 120, Taro uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Crow. After Taro ends his turn, Leo warns Crow that Team Taiyo is planning to summon "Zushin the Sleeping Giant". In the next episode, "Black-Winged Dragon" attacks this card, but Taro activates "Two-Pronged Attack" to destroy "Zarigun" and "Eyearmor" and destroy "Black-Winged Dragon", but Crow activates "Guard Mines" to negate the effect of "Two-Pronged Attack" and inflict 500 damage to Taro. A replay occurs and Crow uses "Black-Winged Dragon" to attack this card, but Taro activates "Dragon Capture Jar" to switch "Black-Winged Dragon" to Defense Position. On Taro's next turn, he Tributes this card to Special Summon "Zushin the Sleeping Giant".

• In episode 122, this card is shown in a series of flashbacks Taro has after he sees everyone cheering for Team Taiyo and remembers that he and his friends entered the tournament with just one Duel Runner and a bunch of Normal Monsters that everyone has. Though they were not famous and nobody cared about them, they are he and his friends are at this grand stage and his friends are giving it their all in this Duel.

• In the Tag Force series of games, this card has become the symbol of near-useless low-level monsters. It is usually the cover card for the card pack of monsters that are no longer used, and in Tag Force 4, it is given as a "consolation prize" to the losers of a tournament in one storyline.
