- In episode 156, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael. He Special Summons this card by banishing the five Kuriboh brothers ("Kuriboh", "Kuribah", "Kuribeh", "Kuribee", and "Kuriboo") from his side of the field. This card's ATK then became 1500 due to its effect. Yami Yugi then activates "Pump Up" to double this card's ATK for this turn only. This card then attacks "Guardian Grarl", but Rafael activates the effect of "Rescuer from the Grave" from his Graveyard, banishing "Rescuer from the Grave" and four unknown cards to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. Yami Yugi then removes this card from play to Special Summon the Kuriboh brothers back to the field. In the next episode, Yami Yugi removes the Kurbioh brothers from play in order to Special Summon this card. He then tributes this card in order to Tribute Summon "Dark Magician Girl". In the following episode, Yami Yugi activates "Hand Control" to force Rafael to activate "Necromancy" which allows Yami Yugi to Special Summon this card, "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts", "Berfomet", and "Big Shield Gardna" from the Graveyard. Yami Yugi then removes this card from play to summon the Kuriboh brothers back to the field. The brothers then gained 500 ATK due to "The Seal of Orichalcos". Yami Yugi then removes the brothers from play to summon this card. This card's ATK then became 4000 due to its own effect. This card then gained 500 ATK due to "The Seal of Orichalcos". This card then attacks and destroys "Guardian Grarl". This causes Rafael's "Purity of the Cemetery" to be destroyed since a monster was now in his Graveyard. Later Rafael activates "Nightmare Binding" to decrease this card's ATK by 800 and prevent it from attacking or being Tributed. "Nightmare Binding" then increase Rafael's Life Points by 800. Later "Guardian Eatos" (whose ATK was 10,000 due to it absorbing the ATK of "Dark Magician", "Dark Magician Girl", "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts", "Berfomet" and "Big Shield Gardna") attacks and destroys this card, defeating Yami Yugi.
- Unlike most other monsters that were affected by "The Seal of Orichalcos", this card's physical appearance was changed far more drastically when it was affected by "The Seal of Orichalcos" (its appearance became more demonic after it was affected by "The Seal of Orichalcos"). Also unlike most monsters who gain a red glow or red glare in their eyes when they are affected by "The Seal of Orichalcos", this card's eyes became red when it was affected by "The Seal of Orichalcos".
- In episode 160, this card is seen in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he saw that his own monsters were angry at him for his selfish actions and when he lost his Duel with Rafael.
- In episode 174, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael. He Special Summons this card by banishing the five Kuriboh brothers from his side of the field. Yami Yugi then activates "Mystical Space Typhoon" to destroy "Gravity Axe - Grarl" and decrease the ATK of "Guardian Grarl" by 1000 (This was because Yami Yugi had activated the effect of "Kuriboo" earlier to decrease the ATK of "Guardian Grarl" by 1500 until the End Phase). This card then attacks "Guardian Grarl", but Rafael destroys "Guardian Shield" to prevent "Guardian Grarl" from being destroyed by battle this turn, however Rafael still takes Battle Damage. In the next episode, all of Rafael's monsters gained 500 ATK due to "The Seal of Orichalcos". "Guardian Grarl" then attacks and destroys this card. Yami Yugi then activates "Rope of Life" to revive this card with 800 more ATK. Yami Yugi then banishes this card to Special Summon the five banished Kuriboh brothers.
- In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Rafael has when he remembers defeating Yami Yugi back at the desert, but taking Yugi's soul instead of Yami Yugi's due to the former pushing the latter out of the way at the last second.
- In episode 220, this card is shown when Yugi is shown building his Deck for the Ceremonial Battle.
