- Paradox uses this card during his Duel against Yugi Muto, Jaden Yuki, and Yusei Fudo. He Synchro Summons this card by tuning "Malefic Stardust Dragon" with "Malefic Parallel Gear". Paradox activates this card's first effect to Special Summon "Stardust Dragon" from the Graveyard, ignoring the summoning conditions. Due to this card's second effect, "Elemental HERO Neos Knight" loses ATK equal to the ATK of "Stardust Dragon". This card then attacks "Neos Knight", but Jaden activates "Hero Barrier" to negate the attack. Paradox then activates "Malefic Claw Stream" to destroy "Neos Knight". Jaden activates "Elemental Mirage" to revive "Neos Knight". This card's effect then decreased the ATK of "Neos Knight" by the ATK of "Stardust Dragon". After Yugi summons "Dark Magician" and "Dark Magician Girl", both monsters lose ATK equal to the ATK of "Stardust Dragon" due to this card's second effect. Yugi then activates "Magic Gate of Miracles" to take control of a monster Paradox controls. Thinking Yugi is trying to take control of this card, Paradox activates "Malefic Force" to equip the latter to this card and grant it immunity to Spell Cards controlled by Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei. However Yugi uses "Magic Gate of Miracles" to take control of "Stardust Dragon". Since "Stardust Dragon" is no longer controlled by Paradox, the ATK of "Neos Knight", "Dark Magician", and "Dark Magician Girl" revert to their original values. Yugi then activates "Dark Magic Twin Burst" to increase the ATK of "Dark Magician" by the ATK of "Dark Magician Girl" until the End Phase. "Dark Magician" then attacks and destroys this card. Paradox then activates "Malefic Paradigm Shift" to pay half his Life Points and Special Summon "Malefic Truth Dragon".
- In the Japanese version, when Summoning this card, Paradox chants, "Born from threshold of the dimension of Darkness, time to lower the curtain of destruction on the stage that surpasses time and space! Synchro Summon! Appear Now, Sin Paradox Dragon!" (Which is similar to Antinomy's chant for Tech Genus Halberd Cannon).
