- "Moon Dragon Quilla" was a Dark Synchro Monster in the anime, and had the effect of destroying itself during the controller's End Phase to Special Summon "Sun Dragon Inti".

- In episode 62, Rex Goodwin uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Yusei Fudo, Jack Atlas, and Crow Hogan. He Dark Synchro Summons this card by dark tuning "Weeping Idol" with "Dark Tuner Dark Goddess Witaka" (who was Level 8 due to Goodwin using the effect of "Dark Goddess Witaka" to make its Level the same as the Level of "Sun Dragon Inti"). On Goodwin's End Phase, this card's last effect activates, destroying this card. After "Blackwing - Elphin the Raven" attacks and destroys "Sun Dragon Inti" (whose ATK was 0 due to Crow removing the Wedge Counter on "Sun Dragon Inti"), Goodwin activates the last effect of "Sun Dragon Int" to revive this card. In the next episode, Yusei activates the effect of "Junk Archer" to banish this card until the End Phase. On Yusei's End Phase, this card returns to the field. After Crow activates "Life Exchange" to direct the effect of "Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca" to him, he activates the last effect of "Life Exchange" to destroy this card. This activates this card's second effect, reviving "Sun Dragon Inti". After "Red Dragon Archfiend" (whose ATK was 1500 due to "Half Straight") attacks and destroys "Sun Dragon Inti" (whose ATK was 0 due to its first effect), the last effect of "Sun Dragon Inti" activates, reviving this card. Later Yusei activates the effect of "Junk Archer" to banish this card until the End Phase, but Goodwin activates "Destruct Potion" to destroy this card and increase his Life Points by this card's ATK. Because this card left the field, the effect of "Junk Archer" is negated as it lost its original target. This card's first effect then activates, reviving "Sun Dragon Inti". In the following episode, "Stardust Dragon" (whose ATK was 5000 due to the effect of "Blackwing - Bombardment") attacks and destroys "Sun Dragon Inti". The second effect of "Sun Dragon Inti" then activates, but Yusei Tributes "Stardust Dragon" to negate that effect. Goodwin then activates the first effect of this card to revive it, but Yusei activates Jack's "Conquest of the Supreme Ruler" and sends it to the Graveyard in order to negate the summon of this card.
