Battle City Finals

• In episode 131, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. When "Slifer the Sky Dragon" (who had 6000 ATK due to its own effect) attacks "Obelisk the Tormentor", Kaiba activates "Power Balance" to make Yugi discard half of the cards in his hand. As he had six cards, he had to discard three. Kaiba then uses the second effect of "Power Balance" to draw the same amount of cards that Yugi discarded. This decreases the ATK of "Slifer" to 3000, but Yugi activates this card to summon "Blade Knight", "Sword of Soul", "Kaiser Sea Horse", and "X-Head Cannon" from the Graveyard. This activates the effect of "Slifer", destroying the newly summoned monsters. "Obelisk" then lost 600 ATK for every "Necromancy"-revived monster that Yugi destroyed. With four destroyed, "Obelisk" lost 2400 ATK. Kaiba then activates the effect of "Sword of Soul" to increase the ATK of "Obelisk" by 1000, but Yugi activates the effect of "Electromagnetic Turtle" to end the Battle Phase immediately.

Waking the Dragons

• In episode 157, this card is shown in Yami Yugi's hand during his Duel against Rafael. He is forced to give this card to Rafael due to Rafael activating "Exchange". In the next episode, Yami Yugi activates "Hand Control" to force Rafael to activate this card, allowing Yami Yugi to Special Summon "Kuribabylon", "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts", "Berfomet" and "Big Shield Gardna" from the Graveyard.

Grand Championship

• In episode 198, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Leon von Schroeder. He uses this card to Special Summon "Little Red Riding Hood", "Forest Hunter", "Iron Hans", and "Iron Knight" from Leon's Graveyard to his side of the field. Yugi then activates "Diffusion Wave-Motion" to allow "Dark Magician" to attack all of Leon's monsters once each. "Dark Magician" then attacks and destroys "Little Red Riding Hood", "Forest Hunter", "Iron Hans", and "Iron Knight". Due to the effect of "Necromancy", the ATK of "Hexe Trude" decreases by 2400 (600 for each "Necromancy"-revived monster that was destroyed). "Dark Magician" then attacks and destroys "Hexe Trude", winning Yami Yugi the Duel.
