Anime[edit]

  • In episode 42, Trey uses this card during his Tag Duel with Quattro against Yuma Tsukumo and Kite Tenjo. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Chronomaly Moai" and "Chronomaly Golden Jet" (who was Level 5 through its own effect). After Quattro Xyz Summons "Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder", Trey activates "Number Wall" to prevent this card from being destroyed by card effects (which allowed Quattro to use the effect of "Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder" to destroy "Number 39: Utopia" without destroying this card). Later "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" attacks "Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder", but Trey activates "Stonehenge Shield" to negate the attack, reduce the ATK of "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" to 0, and negate its effects. Trey then activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit and inflict damage to Kite equal to the difference between the original ATK and current ATK of "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon". In the next episode, Yuma activates "Courageous Heart" to negate this card's effect. Later Trey activates "Chronomaly Pyramid Eye Tablet" to increase this card's ATK by 800. Trey then activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit and inflict damage to Yuma equal to the difference between this card's original ATK and current ATK. This card then attacks "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", but Kite activates "Battle Simulation" to halve the ATK of both battling monsters and prevent them from being destroyed in battle this turn. At the end of the Battle Phase, the effect of "Battle Simulation" expires, returning this card's ATK to 3200. Later Quattro activates the effect of "Number 40: Gimmick Puppet of Strings" to place a String Counter on every other monster on the field. On the last turn of the Duel, Kite activates "Overlay Regen" to force Quattro, Trey, and Yuma to take the top card of their Deck and attach to it to their respective Xyz Monsters as Overlay Units. After Kite Xyz Summons "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", he activates its first effect to negate the effects of all other monsters on the field. Kite then activates the second effect of "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" to detach the Overlay Units of all other Xyz Monsters on the field, increase the ATK of "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" by 1500 (500 for each Overlay Unit that its effect detached), and allow it to attack three times (one attack for each Overlay Unit sent to the Graveyard by its effect). "Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" then attacks and destroys this card, defeating Trey.
  • In episode 47, Trey uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Chronomaly Tula Guardian" and "Chronomaly Golden Jet" (who was Level 5 through its own effect). After Trey activates the effect of "Chronomaly Cabrera Catapult" in order to reduce the ATK of "Gogogo Golem" to 0, Trey activates this card's effect to detach "Chronomaly Golden Jet" and inflict damage to Yuma equal to the difference between the original and current ATK of "Gogogo Golem". After Trey removes Yuma's memories of his father's teachings in order to make him scared and helpless, this card attacks and destroys "Gagaga Magician" (whose ATK was 1900 via "Bound Wand"). In the next episode, this card attacks directly, but Yuma is unable to do anything due to being too scared. Astral uses some of his power to remind Yuma of Kattobingu, which allows Yuma to see his hand and remember his cards' effects. Yuma then Special Summons "Gagaga Gardna" from his hand via its own effect. A replay occurs and Trey uses this card to attack and destroy "Gagaga Gardna" (shortly after Trey kills Astral for interfering). After Trey ends his turn, he intended to use the effect of "Chronomaly Cabrera Catapult" to decrease the ATK of the next monster Yuma summons and use this card's effect to win the Duel. Later "Number 39: Utopia" (whose ATK was 2800 via "Gagagarevenge") attacks and destroys this card (which was after Yuma's memories and personality were restored). After Trey Xyz Summons "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis", he activates its second effect to equip this card to it and increase the ATK of "Chronomaly Atlandis" by this card's ATK. In the following episode, Trey destroys this card in order to activate "Final Prophecy". After Yuma wins the Duel, Astral (revived by the power of Yuma's key and Trey's crest) absorbs this card and "Chronomaly Atlandis" after Trey leaves both cards behind for Yuma and Astral.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Trey has when he taunts Yuma that he should have seen him kill Astral (Yuma was unaware of this because of Trey's crest altering Yuma's memories at that point).
  • In episode 65, this card appears in series of flashbacks Vetrix has when he explains in detail why his sons' crests were connected to their souls and why they were used to protect them from the corrupting power of the "Numbers".
  • In episode 67, Dr. Faker uses Sphere Field to absorb this card along with every "Number" Yuma and Vetrix had in their possession after Yuma defeats Vetrix.
  • In episode 69, this card is amongst the "Numbers" floating through the Sphere Field.
  • At some point between episode 73 and episode 74, Astral absorbs this card along with every "Number" that Dr. Faker had in his possession.
  • In episode 74, this card is amongst the "Numbers" that appear in the Emperor's Key with Astral.
  • In episode 112, Yuma returns this card and "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" to Trey for their upcoming Duel against Erazor.
  • In episode 113, Trey uses this card during his Tag-Team Duel with Yuma against Erazor. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Chronomaly Winged Sphinx" and "Chronomaly Moai Carrier". Trey then activates "Chronomaly Pyramid Eye Tablet", increasing this card's ATK by 800. Trey then activates this card's effect to inflict damage to Erazor equal to the difference between this card's original and current ATK by detaching an Overlay Unit, but Erazor activates the effect of "Number 3: Cicada King" to negates this card's effects and increase the DEF of "Cicada King" by 500 (making its DEF 3500). After Trey activates the effect of Yuma's "Reservation Reward" to set "Heart of Stone", this card attacks "Cicada King". The attack fails, but Trey activates "Heart of Stone" to let this card attack again. Due to "Reservation Reward", this card's ATK is doubled and it is allowed to inflict piercing damage. This card attacks "Cicada King" again, but Erazor activates "Cicada Illusion" to prevent "Cicada King" from being destroyed, though he still takes piercing damage. At the end of the Battle Phase, the effect of "Reservation Reward" expires. Later "Cicada King" (whose ATK was 4700 via "Cicada Illusion") attacks "Utopia", but Trey activates "Orichalcum Mirage" to redirect the attack to this card, destroying it.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Trey has when he reveals he will make Yuma realize that the bonds Yuma made with his friends will help unleash an enormous power he potentially has since he killed Astral in the past, but Yuma still managed to remain strong at that point.
  • In episode 128, Mizar absorbs this card along with every "Number" that Trey and Quinton had in their possession after he defeats them.
  • In episode 138, Don Thousand absorbs this card along with every "Number" in Mizar's possession after he absorbs Mizar.
  • In episode 140, Nash absorbs this card along with every "Number" in Don Thousand's possession after Don Thousand is defeated and he willingly allows his power to be absorbed by Nash.
  • In episode 143, Astral absorbs this card along with every "Number" in Nash's possession after Yuma defeats Nash (excluding the "Over Hundred Numbers" and their Chaos forms).
  • This card's attack name is "Fire of Vril" in the Japanese version and "Meteor Meltdown" in the dub. Its effect name in both versions is "Infinity Cannon".
