Card Appearances:Paladin of White Dragon
Yu-Gi-Oh![edit]
- In episode 150, Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Alister. He Ritual Summons this card via "White Dragon Ritual". After Kaiba activates "Monster Reborn" to revive "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", this card attacks and destroys "Pitch-Dark Dragon" (whose ATK was 1400 due to "The Seal of Orichalcos" and under Alister's control due to the effect of "Gorlag"). This decreases the ATK of "Gorlag" to 2500. After "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks and destroys Alister's "Gorlag", Kaiba Tributes this card via its own effect in order to Special Summon another "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
- In episode 177, Seto uses this card during his Tag Duel with Yami Yugi against Dartz. He Ritual Summons this card via "White Dragon Ritual". Seto then Tributes this card via its own effect in order to Special Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
- In episode 200, this card appears within Kaiba's briefcase when he opens it up and takes his Duel Disk with him.
- In the original anime, his attack is translated as Dark Evil Sacred Spear. In the English dub, his attack is called Ionic Spear Burst.
Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light[edit]
- Seto Kaiba used this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He Ritual Summons this card via "White Dragon Ritual". Kaiba then uses this card to attack and destroy Yugi's "Magician's Valkyria". Kaiba then Tributes this card via its own effect in order to Special Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
- During this Duel, contrary to the text visible on the card, this card was not considered a Dragon-Type monster, since it did not strengthen "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon's" ATK. (It may have been considered a Warrior-Type monster, however, due to this monster's name and the fact that a paladin is normally related to warriors and knights.)
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[edit]
- In episode 34, Kaibaman uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He summons this card via "White Dragon Ritual". This card then attacks directly. Kaibaman then Tributes this card via its own effect in order to Special Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from his Deck.
- This card appears in the GX Japanese closing song, Borderline Battle.
