Duelist Kingdom

• In episode 3, Joey Wheeler trades for this card on the boat to Duelist Kingdom. Joey later shows Yugi Muto the cards he got from trading with the passengers on the boat and this card is shown among the cards Joey shows.

• In episode 6, this card appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers Yugi giving him the "Time Wizard" card during the ride to Duelist Kingdom as well as Yugi saying to him there are some things that you can see that can't actually be seen.

• In episode 20, Joey uses this card during his Tag Duel with Yami Yugi against the Paradox Brothers. He equips this card onto his "Flame Swordsman", increasing its ATK by 700. Joey then uses "Flame Swordsman" to attack Dox's "Dungeon Worm". Due to weakness "Dungeon Worm" has against fire, it loses the bonus it got from "Monster Tamer". "Flame Swordsman" then destroys "Dungeon Worm". In the next episode, this card is destroyed after "Suijin" attacks and destroys "Flame Swordsman".

• In episode 31, Joey uses this card during his duel against Bandit Keith. He equips this card onto "Flame Swordsman", increasing its ATK by 700 (Joey did this so that "Flame Swordsman" would be stronger than "Zoa", which Keith "mistakenly" revealed before setting it back down in Defense Position). Joey's "Flame Swordsman" then attacks "Zoa", but Keith activates "Magic Metal Force" to transform "Zoa" into "Metalzoa", making it a Machine-type monster. Due to the effect of "Magic Metal Force", the attack by Joey's "Flame Swordsman" is deflected back at "Flame Swordsman", destroying it and inflicting damage to Joey equal to the ATK difference between "Metalzoa" and "Flame Swordsman". This card was then destroyed shortly after.

Battle City

• In episode 88, Joey draws this card during his Duel against Odion.

Scripted Duels

• In the non-canon duel YCS Origins 2016 Special: Joey vs. Pegasus, Joey equips this card and "Legendary Sword" to "Flame Swordsman", increasing its ATK by 1000 by 300. The ATK boost allows this card to attack and destroy Pegasus' "Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss." The next turn, this card is destroyed when Pegasus destroys "Flame Swordsman" with "Dark Hole".
