  • In episode 217, Yugi Muto uses this card during his Duel against Yami Bakura. He summons this card in Attack Position. This card and "Marshmallon" then attack and destroy two "Necro Soldiers". "Silent Swordsman LV0" then attacks the third "Necro Soldier", but Yami Bakura activates "Narrow Corridor" to nullify the attack. After Yami Bakura conducts his Draw Phase, this card gained 500 ATK. This card then attacks and destroys "Necro Mannequin" while "Silent Swordsman LV0" attacks and destroys "Necro Soldier". After Yami Bakura conducted his Draw Phase again, this card gained 500 ATK. This card and "Silent Swordsman LV0" then attack and destroy two "Necro Wall Tokens". After Yami Bakura conducts his Draw Phase, this card gained 500 ATK. Yami Bakura then summons "Necro Jar" and uses it to attack this card. This card then destroys "Necro Jar", but this activates "Necro Jar's" effect, forcing Yugi to discard a card from the top of his deck for every 300 points of Battle Damage that Yami Bakura just took. Since Yami Bakura took 1400 points of damage, Yugi had to send four cards from the top of his deck to the Graveyard. Yugi then Tributes this card and "Marshmallon" in order to Tribute Summon "Gandora the Dragon of Destruction". In the next episode, the Duel rewinds back to when Yugi draws "Gandora" on the final turn. Yugi then Tributes this card and "Silent Swordsman LV0" in order to Tribute Summon "Gandora".
  • In episode 224, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He Special Summons this card via "Magician's Circle" when "Dark Magician" (who was equipped with "Book of Secret Arts" and "Dark Spear") attacks directly. A replay occurs and Yami Yugi uses "Dark Magician" to attack this card, but Yugi activates "Spell Textbook" to discard his entire hand and draw one card. The card is then revealed to be "Card of Sanctity". Because of that, Yugi activates the effect of "Card of Sanctity" immediately, forcing both players to draw until they had six cards. Since Yami drew five new cards, this card gained 2500 ATK. Yami Yugi then activates "Magicians Unite" to make the ATK of "Dark Magician" 3000 for this attack. This card then destroys "Dark Magician". Due to the effect of "Magicians Unite", "Dark Magician Girl" is destroyed. Yami Yugi then activates "Monster Reborn" to revive "Slifer the Sky Dragon". Since Yami Yugi had four cards in his hand, "Slifer the Sky Dragon's" ATK became 4000. Yami Yugi was prepared to use "Slifer" to attack this card, but Yugi activates the effect of "Gold Sarcophagus" to reveal the card he banished through the effect of "Gold Sarcophagus". It then reveals that the card banished was "Monster Reborn". Because of this, the effect of Yami Yugi's "Monster Reborn" is negated. Due to this, "Slifer the Sky Dragon" goes back to the Graveyard. This card then attacks directly, winning Yugi the Duel. By doing this, Atem's spirit could now finally rest in peace.
  • In the English version, it was just called Silent Magician, although it had 'LV 0' above the ATK gauge.
  • "Silent Magician LV4", and "Silent Magician LV8" were never shown in the anime, however it is implied that if "Silent Magician" reached that LV they would have been red, not white.
  • This is the last monster seen in the original Yu-Gi-Oh anime series.
  • Besides TCG forms of "Silent Magician LV0", "LV4" and "LV8", additional "LVs" were shown in the anime, "LV1", "LV2", "LV3", and "LV5". "LV4" wasn't shown because in the ceremonial battle Yugi used "Card of Sanctity", which he skipped over some "LVs" since Yami drew five cards.
