In episode 1, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Bronk Stone. He overlays this card with "Big Jaws" in order to Xyz Summon "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark". Later Shark uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo. After he Normal Summons this card, Shark activates this card's effect to destroy Yuma's "Wonder Wand". Shark then overlays this card with "Big Jaws" in order to Xyz Summon "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon". Shark then detaches this card in order to activate the effect of "Leviathan Dragon".

In episode 2, this card appears in Astral's thoughts when he explains in detail to Yuma about the "Numbers" and how they work.

In episode 3, this card appears in a flashback Astral has when he notes even though his memories have been trapped in 99 different "Numbers" and then scattered, his memories won't return until he gathers them all.

In episode 10, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. After he Normal Summons this card, Shark overlays this card and "Big Jaws" in order to Xyz Summon "Black Ray Lancer".

In episode 25, this card appears in a flashback Kite Tenjo has after he arrives at the Duel Square and wonders if the memories he's scanning here are Astral's memories.

In episode 34, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Trey. After he Normal Summons this card, Shark activates this card's effect to destroy "Orichalcum Chain". The second effect of "Orichalcum Chain" activates, giving control of "Number 32: Shark Drake" to Shark. "Shark Drake" then attacks directly, but Trey activates "Antikythira Gear" to take control of this card, however Shark activates "Extreme Pressure Power" to destroy this card and draw a card, which makes "Antikythira Gear" resolve without effect. The direct attack continues.

In episode 62, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Shark has when Yuma tries to remind him of their previous Duels with each other.

In episode 108, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Abyss while the latter was possessing Rio Kastle. He sets this card in Defense Position. Later Abyss activates "Gorgon Charm" to flip this card face-up. Abyss then activates the second effect of "Gorgonic Guardian" to negate this card's effects and reduce its ATK to 0. The first effect of "Gorgonic Guardian" then activates, destroying this card.

In episode 114, this card appears in a flashback Shark has when he remembers the times where he and Rio lived at their old mansion. This card is shown as one of the many cards Shark got from his father.

In episode 115, Shark uses this card during his Tag-Team Duel with Quattro against Chironex. He sets this card in Defense Position, but Chironex activates "Receding Tide" to flip this card to face-up Defense Position. Later Chironex activates "Jelly Rain" to treat this card as a WATER monster. After Chironex activates the effect of "Number 4: Stealth Kragen" to destroy "Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder" and inflict its ATK as damage to Quattro, Chironex activates the effect of "Kragen Spawn" to destroy this card, but Quattro activates "Shade of Strings" to prevent this card from being destroyed by card effects. "Stealth Kragen" then attacks and destroys this card.

In episode 137, during Nash's Duel against Vector, the latter sends this card, "Big Jaws", "Zeus' Breath", and "Surface" from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard via "Infinity Tooth".

In episode 143, Nash uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. After he Normal Summons this card, he overlays this card and "Big Jaws" in order to Xyz Summon "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark". This card is sent to the Graveyard at an unspecified point.

In rank 1, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Tetsuo Takeda. He overlays this card with "Big Jaws" in order to Xyz Summon "Submarine Tender Aero Shark".

In Rank 2, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo. After he Normal Summons this card, Shark activates this card's effect to destroy Yuma's "Wonder Wand". Shark then overlays this card with "Big Jaws" in order to Xyz Summon "No. 17: Leviathan Dragon". Shark then detaches this card in order to activate the effect of "Leviathan Dragon".
