Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[edit]

  • In episode 38, this card appears when Admiral explains to Jaden that even though he had been using money to help him get everything he wants, he was never able to get the three Sacred Beasts through money.
  • In episode 46, this card and the other two Sacred Beasts appear when Professor Banner explains to Jaden that he intends to create the Philosopher's Stone with the power of Sacred Beasts alone.
  • In episode 48, Kagemaru takes the Sacred Beasts from their hiding place after the Spirit Keys open the lock mechanism that keeps them from within his reach. He then challenges Jaden to a Duel as he can only gain full control of the Sacred Beasts by defeating Jaden in a Duel. Kagemaru uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He summons this card by sending "Mispolymerization", "Penalty Game!" and "Statue of the Wicked" to the Graveyard. Since there are three Traps in Kagemaru's Graveyard, this card's ATK and DEF became 3000. Kagemaru then activates this card's effect to destroy Jaden's face-down "Mirror Gate". This card then attacks and destroys "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix". "Elemental HERO Tempest" then attacks this card. Due to the effect of "Skyscraper", "Tempest" gains 1000 ATK during damage calculation only. "Tempest" then destroys this card. Kagemaru then discards "Chain Burst" to Special Summon this card from his Graveyard. Since another Trap has been placed in Kagemaru's Graveyard, this card's ATK and DEF increase to 4000. This card then attacks "Tempest". Due to the effect of "Skyscraper", "Tempest" gains 1000 ATK during damage calculation only. Jaden then activates the effect of "Tempest" to send his face-down "Transcendent Wings" to the Graveyard in order to prevent "Tempest" from being destroyed, however Jaden still takes Battle Damage. Jaden then activates "H - Heated Heart" to increase the ATK of "Tempest" by 500 until the End Phase. "Tempest" then attacks this card. Due to the effect of "Skyscraper", "Tempest" gains 1000 ATK during damage calculation only. "Tempest" then destroys this card. Kagemaru then discards "Jar of Greed" to revive this card. Since another Trap has been placed Kagemaru's Graveyard, this card's ATK and DEF increased to 5000. In the next episode, this card attacks directly, but Jaden activates "The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh" to Special Summon "Winged Kuriboh" from his Deck. A replay then occurs and Kagemaru uses this card to attack and destroy "Winged Kuriboh". The effect of "Sabatiel - The Philosopher's Stone" then activates, allowing Jaden to add "Sabatiel - The Philosopher's Stone" from his Deck to his hand. On Kagemaru's next turn, this card attacks "Elemental HERO Neo Bubbleman", but Jaden activates "Bubble Illusion" to activate "Hero's Rule 1: Five Freedoms" from his hand, allowing Jaden to banish the five Trap Cards in Kagemaru's Graveyard. This reduces this card's ATK and DEF to 0. "Neo Bubbleman" then destroys this card. Kagemaru then activates "Resurrection Tribute" to destroy "Neo Bubbleman" and Special Summon "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" from his Graveyard. Kagemaru then discards "Cemetery Bomb" to revive this card. This card's ATK and DEF then became 1000 due to its effect. After Kagemaru discards "The Creator" and "Divine Wrath" for the cost of "Phantasmal Martyrs", this card's ATK and DEF became 2000. On Kagemaru's next turn, he switches this card to Attack Position. Kagemaru then Tributes his two Phantasm Tokens to activate the effect of "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", increasing the latter's ATK by the ATK of the Tributed monsters until the End Phase. "Raviel" then attacks "Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman", but Jaden activates "De-Fusion" to return "Shining Flare Wingman" to the Extra Deck and Special Summon "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman" and "Elemental HERO Sparkman" from the Graveyard. The effect of "Raviel" then activates, Special Summoning two Phantasm Tokens to Kagemaru's side of the field. A replay then occurs and Kagemaru uses "Raviel" to attack and destroy "Flame Wingman". This card then attacks and destroys "Sparkman". This card remained on the field until the Duel was over. After Kagemaru is defeated, Jaden and his friends return the Sacred Beasts back to their secure location.
  • In episode 62, this card appears in one of the many flashback bubbles Jaden sees in as he travels into Neo Space.
  • In episode 65, this card appears in the Duel Magazine that Jaden reads and the Duel Magazine that Syrus reads.
  • In episode 126, this card and the two other Sacred Beasts appear in Jaden's thoughts when he notes if he doesn't end his Duel against Chazz Princeton soon, Marcel Bonaparte will gain access to the Sacred Beasts.
  • In episode 129, Marcel uses this card during his Tag Duel against Jaden Yuki and Jesse Anderson while the former was possessed by Yubel. He sends this card, "Hamon", and "Raviel" from his Deck to the Graveyard in order to activate the first effect of "Chaos Core". In the next episode, Marcel Special Summons this card, "Hamon", and "Raviel" from his Graveyard via the effect of "Dark Summoning Beast", ignoring the summoning conditions. Since there is one Continuous Trap Card in Marcel's Graveyard, this card gains 1000 ATK. Marcel then activates this card's second effect to destroy Jaden's face-down "Dummy Marker". This activates the latter's effect, letting Jaden draw one card. Later Jesse's "Rainbow Dragon" attacks this card, but the attack is redirected to "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" due to the latter's second effect. Since the DEF of "Hamon" was the same as the ATK of "Rainbow Dragon", the attack fails. Later Jaden activates the effect of "Elemental HERO Chaos Neos" to negate the effects of Marcel's monsters this turn. This action decreases this card's ATK to 0 since its effects were negated. "Chaos Neos" then attacks and destroys this card. On the last turn of the Duel, Marcel activates "Immortal Class" to Special Summon this card from his Graveyard. He then activates "Dimension Fusion Destruction" to banish the three Sacred Beasts and Fusion Summon "Chaos Phantasm Armityle".
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Bastion Misawa has when he notes that the Sacred Beasts have tremendous energy like "Rainbow Dragon". Bastion then tells Jaden to have the Sacred Beasts battle "Rainbow Dragon" as that should unleash "Rainbow Dragon's" full power and create a portal that can take Duel Academy back to the real world.
  • In episode 149, Jesse Anderson uses this card during his Duel against Adrian Gecko while the former was possessed by Yubel. He Special Summons this card by sending three "Delta Barriers" to the Graveyard. Since there are three Continuous Traps in Jesse's Graveyard, this card gains 3000 ATK. Adrian then reminds Jesse that since "Burden of the Mighty" is face-up on the field, this card loses 1000 ATK as it was a Level 10 monster. Jesse then equips this card with "Eternal Reverse" and activates the latter's second effect to set Adrian's "Burden of the Mighty" face-down and render its effects useless. Jesse then activates this card's second effect to destroy "Burden of the Mighty" since it's now face-down. Later "Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord" (whose ATK was 3000 due to its fourth effect) attacks this card. Adrian then activates the third effect of "Exodius" to send "Right Leg of the Forbidden One" from his Deck to the Graveyard and increase the ATK of "Exodius" by 1000. Jesse then sends "Eternal Reverse" to the Graveyard to prevent this card's destruction however he still takes Battle Damage from the attack. Later Jesse activates "Dimension Fusion Destruction" to banish the three Sacred Beasts and Fusion Summon "Chaos Phantasm Armityle".
  • In episode 154, this card is shown in a flashback Yubel has when she explained to Jaden that she feasted upon the darkness in her pawns' hearts in order to await her union with Jaden, which included sending Jaden and Duel Academy to the alternate dimension.
  • In episode 158, this card is shown in series of flashbacks Sartorius has when he explains that while the earthquake-like energy that is about to erupt on the island is nothing more than a hypothesis, the incidents involving the Sacred Beasts, the Light of Destruction, and Yubel have caused a lot of pressure to the dimension centering the Duel Academy island, which will cause another bad affair to happen.
  • In episode 159, this card is shown in a series of flashbacks Axel Brodie has when he explains that Kagemaru once used the scholarship students to resurrect the Sacred Beasts and gain eternal life until Jaden stopped him.
  • In both versions, the attack name of this card is Hyper Blaze, while its effect of destroying face-down Spells and Traps is, appropriately called Trap Destruction.
