- In episode 189, Zigfried von Schroeder uses this card during his Duel against Rex Raptor and Weevil Underwood. Zigfried summons three copies of this card with "Ride of the Valkyries".
- In episode 190, this card is shown in Zigfried's hand during his Duel against Joey Wheeler. When Zigfried activates "Wotan's Judgment", he swapped the "Nibelung's Ring" in his hand with the top card of his Deck which was this card. In the next episode, Zigfried Special Summons three copies of this card through the effect of"Ride of the Valkyries". Zigfried then uses one of the copies' effects to destroy "Jinzo". Zigfried then uses his "Valkyrie Erste's" effect to banish "Jinzo" and make the ATK of "Valkyrie Erste" the same as the ATK of "Jinzo". All of Zigfried's monsters then attack directly, but Joey activates "Hyper Refresh" to double his Life Points before Damage Calculation. This allows Joey to survive the direct attacks with 800 Life Points remaining. On Zigfried's End Phase, all of his monsters returned to his Deck on the End Phase.
- In episode 194, Zigfried uses this card during his duel against Seto Kaiba. He summons this card via the effect of "Ride of the Valkyries". Zigfried then activates this card's effect to destroy "X-Head Cannon". He then activates the effect of "Valkyrie Erste" to banish "X-Head Cannon" and make the ATK of "Erste" the same as "X-Head Cannon's" ATK. "Valkyrie Dritte" then gains 100 ATK due to a monster being banished. Zigfried then uses this card to attack directly, but Kaiba activates "Negate Attack" to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. Zigfried then activates "Mischief of the Time Goddess" to go to the Battle Phase of his next turn. Zigfried then uses this card to attack directly, but Kaiba activates "Magical Trick Mirror" to activate "Mischief of the Time Goddess" from the Graveyard as his card, allowing Kaiba to go to the Battle Phase of his next turn. On Zigfried's next turn, "Valkyrie Erste" attacks and destroys "Clone Dragon". This card then attacks directly. On Zigfried's next turn, this card attacks and destroys "Pitch-Dark Dragon". Kaiba then activates "Flat Lv 4" to allow both players to Special Summon a Level 4 monster from their Deck. Kaiba Special Summons "Y-Dragon Head" while Zigfried Special Summons another "Valkyrie Dritte". Later Zigfried equips this card with "Fortune Chariot" via the latter's effect. He then activates the second effect of "Fortune Chariot" effect to halve this card's ATK until the End Phase so that it could attack directly. This card then attacks directly. On the End Phase, the effect of "Fortune Chariot" expires. In the next episode, Zigfried activates the second effect of "Fortune Chariot" to halve this card's ATK until the End Phase so that it could attack directly again. This card then attacks directly, but Kaiba activates "Attack Guidance Armor" to redirect the attack to "Valkyrie Erste". Zigfried then activates "Wotan's Judgment" to swap a Spell Card in his hand with the top card of his Deck in order to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. Later "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" attacks this card, but Zigfried destroys "Fortune Chariot" in order to prevent this monster's destruction, however Zigfried still takes Battle Damage. Later Zigfried Tributes this card and "Valkyrie Erste" in order to Tribute Summon "Valkyrie Brunhilde".
