Yu-Gi-Oh! (manga)[edit]

Yu-Gi-Oh! (anime)[edit]

  • In episode 31, Bandit Keith uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler. When Keith was about to set this card, he "accidentally" drops it, revealing what it was. Keith then picks it up and sets it like he was about to. Since Joey saw it, he knew this card was not a Machine-Type mons. Joey then summons his "Flame Swordsman" and equips it with "Salamandra" which increases the ATK of "Flame Swordsman" by 700. "Flame Swordsman" then attacks this card, but Keith activates "Magic Metal Force" to transform this card into "Metalzoa". Due to the effect of "Magic Metal Force", the attack made by "Flame Swordsman" is deflected back at it, destroying "Flame Swordsman" and inflicting the ATK difference between "Metalzoa" and "Flame Swordsman" as damage to Joey.
  • In episode 60, this card can be seen in Seto Kaiba's briefcase when he offers all the rare cards inside the briefcase to Koji Nagumo.
  • In episode 66, this card appears in Kaiba's briefcase before he closes it.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[edit]

  • In episode 24, Czar uses this card during his duel against Chazz Princeton. He Tribute Summons this card by Tributing two "Metal Fiend Tokens". On Czar's next turn, he activates "Metalmorph" and equips it onto this card, increasing its ATK and DEF by 300. Czar then Tributes this card in order to Special Summon "Metalzoa". Czar then activates "Call of the Haunted" to revive this card. This card then attacks and destroys "Ojama Yellow". Later Chazz activates "Chaos End" to destroy this card and "Metalzoa".
  • In episode 91, this card is shown in a flashback Lucien Grimley has when he reflects on why he stole "Grim Reaper" in order to help himself win Duels. Czar is shown using this card during his Duel against Lucien. Czar wins the Duel very easily though Lucien notes if he had drawn a certain card, he could have won the Duel.
  • In episode 114, this card appears in a flashback Mr. Stein has when he explains to Jaden Yuki his days as a Pro League duelist and how he used "Scar-Knight" to help him win his Duels. This card was shown being used by one of Mr. Stein's opponents. The flashback shows "Scar-Knight" destroying this card, "Legendary Fiend", and "King of Yamimakai" which wins Mr. Stein the Duel.
