Card Rulings:After the Struggle
OCG Rulings
- You cannot activate this card during Main Phase 2.[1]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[3] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - This card's title has been changed to "After the Struggle". If you have a card titled "After Genocide" its name is treated as "After the Struggle".[2]
- Even if the Battle Damage is reduced to 0 by the effect of "Waboku", "Kuriboh", "Sanga of the Thunder", etc., both the attacking and defending monster are still destroyed during the End Step by this card’s effect.[2]
- If you activate "After the Struggle", even a monster that performs a direct attack will be destroyed by this card’s effect during the End Step.[2]
- Note that "After the Struggle" will destroy monsters during the End Step, not the End Phase.[2]
