OCG Rulings
- This card's effect that prevents it from being destroyed by your opponent's card effects and prevents your opponent from targeting it with card effects is a Continuous Effect.[1]
- This card's effect that can be activated when it destroys an opponent's monster by battle is a Trigger Effect. (It can be activated optionally at the end of the Damage Step when this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle. When activating the effect, choose which "●" effect to activate.)[1]

- A: If "Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Chaos" battles a monster with the same ATK and both are destroyed, the effect of "Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Chaos" cannot be activated.[2]
- Q: When my "Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Chaos" destroys an opponent's monster by battle, I activate its effect that increases its ATK by 1500. During my next turn, if "Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Chaos" destroys an opponent's monster by battle again, can I activate its effect that increases its ATK by 1500 again?
