OCG Rulings
- The effect that inflicts damage to your opponent equal to half the destroyed monster's original ATK is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target.)[1]
- This effect activates mandatorily when "CXyz Skypalace Babylon" destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard (= at the end of the Damage Step).[1]
- This effect does not activate if "CXyz Skypalace Babylon" battles a monster with the same ATK and both monsters are destroyed.[1]
- "If this card has "Skypalace Gangaridai" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect" is not treated as an effect. (While "CXyz Skypalace Babylon" has "Skypalace Gangaridai" as Xyz Material, it gains the "●" effect.)[1]
- "●" is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target. Detaching 1 Xyz Material from this card is the cost to activate this effect.)[1]
- This effect can optionally be activated at the end of the Damage Step in which "CXyz Skypalace Babylon" destroyed an opponent's monster by battle.[1]
