Card Rulings:Constellar Praesepe
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Constellar Praesepe" is a Quick Effect.[1]
- The effect does not target. (It is applied to the 1 battling "Constellar" monster you control.)[1]
- The effect can be activated even if "Constellar Praesepe" itself battles.[1]
- If a face-down Defense Position "Constellar" monster in your Monster Zone is attacked, you cannot activate the effect of "Constellar Praesepe" at the start of the Damage Step. After that face-down Defense Position monster is flipped face-up, you can activate the effect of "Constellar Praesepe" before damage calculation.[1]
- Detaching 1 Xyz Material from this card is a cost to activate its effect.[1]
- Q: After the effect of "Constellar Praesepe" increased the ATK of a "Constellar" monster, if "Skill Drain" is activated, what happens to the ATK?
- A: After the effect of "Constellar Praesepe" increased the ATK of a "Constellar" monster by 1000, even if "Skill Drain" is activated and the monster effects on the field are negated, the ATK increased by the effect of "Constellar Praesepe" remains applied. (Whether the effect of "Constellar Praesepe" increased the ATK of itself or another "Constellar" monster makes no difference.)[2]
