OCG Rulings

• The effect that adds 1 "Constellar" monster from your Graveyard to your hand is an Ignition Effect. (It targets 1 "Constellar" monster in your Graveyard. Banishing 1 "Constellar" monster from your Graveyard is a cost to activate this effect.)

• The effect that Normal Summons 1 "Constellar" monster is an Ignition Effect. (It does not target.)

• The effect that allows you to Normal Summon 1 "Constellar" monster for 1 less Tribute is not a Continuous Effect, Ignition Effect, Trigger Effect, or Quick Effect. (Reducing the Tributes by 1 by the application of this effect does not start a Chain Link.)

• You can apply this effect when you Normal Summon a "Constellar" monster while "Constellar Sombre" is in the Graveyard during the turn it was sent there.

• This effect can be applied not only when "Constellar Sombre" is sent to the Graveyard by a card effect, but also when it is sent to the Graveyard as a cost to activate a card effect. Similarly, it can be applied not only when "Constellar Sombre" is sent from the field to the Graveyard, but also when it is sent from the hand or Deck to the Graveyard, or when it is sent to the Graveyard while treated as Xyz Material.

• Q: If 2 copies of "Constellar Sombre" are sent to the Graveyard during the same turn, can you apply the effect that reduces the number of Tributes required to Normal Summon a "Constellar" monster twice?

A: Even if 2 copies of "Constellar Sombre" are sent to the Graveyard during the same turn, you can only apply the effect that reduces the number of Tributes required to Normal Summon a "Constellar" monster once per turn.

• Q: If you activate the effect of "Constellar Sombre" that adds 1 "Constellar" monster from your Graveyard to your hand, and your opponent activates the effect of "D.D. Crow" in Chain, so that you cannot add the targeted "Constellar" monster to your hand, can you activate the effect that Normal Summons 1 "Constellar" monster during that turn?

A: Even in this case, you can activate the effect of "Constellar Sombre" that Normal Summons 1 "Constellar" monster during that turn.

• Q: During the turn you Normal Summoned in addition to your Normal Summon/Set by the effect of "Constellar Pollux", can you Normal Summon by the effect of "Constellar Sombre"?

A: During the turn you applied the effect of "Constellar Pollux", you can activate the effect of "Constellar Sombre" that Normal Summons 1 "Constellar" monster.
