Card Rulings:Dimension Explosion
OCG Rulings
- Returning one Fusion Monster to the Extra Deck is a cost to activate this card.[1]
- "Dimension Explosion" targets the removed monsters to be Special Summoned. You choose which of your removed monsters to Special Summon, and your opponent chooses which of his monsters to Special Summon.[2]
- "Dimension Explosion" cannot be activated if either player has no removed from play monsters that he can Special Summon.[2]
- "Dimension Explosion" cannot be activated if a player has no open Monster Card Zones. However, if a player only has one open Monster Card Zone, then "Dimension Explosion" can be activated, but the player can only target one monster to be Special Summoned.[2]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[3] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise.
