- The effect of "Emperor of Prophecy" is an Ignition Effect.[1]
- Banishing a total of 2 cards, 1 face-up Spellcaster monster in your Monster Zone other than "Emperor of Prophecy" itself and 1 "Spellbook" card in your Graveyard, is a cost to activate the effect.[1]
- The effect targets 1 face-up monster in your opponent's Monster Zone.[1]
- Returning control of the monster that was affected by the effect of "Emperor of Prophecy" during the End Phase does not start a Chain Link.[1]
