Card Rulings:Enraged Muka Muka
OCG Rulings
- If "Enraged Muka Muka" or "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" has its ATK halved by the effect of "Black Garden", then afterwards the monster's ATK does not change, even if the number of cards in your hand or the contents of the Graveyard change.[1]
- Example: If you have five cards in your hand and you Summon "Enraged Muka Muka", then the effect of "Black Garden" halves its ATK from 3200 to 1600. If there are two Dragon-Type monsters in your Graveyard and you Summon "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon", then the effect of "Black Garden" halves its ATK from 3000 to 1500.[1]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[2] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. Mentions in Other Rulings
- Acid Trap Hole: If the monster flipped face-up has an effect that changes its DEF, such as "Enraged Muka Muka", calculate the current DEF, then determine if it will be destroyed or flipped back face-down. So if you had 4 cards in your hand, "Enraged Muka Muka" would not be destroyed.
- Bottomless Trap Hole: Use the current ATK at time of Summoning to determine if you can activate "Bottomless Trap Hole". So if the opponent Tribute Summons "Enraged Muka Muka" with 1 card in their hand, you can activate "Bottomless Trap Hole" (since its ATK is 1600).
